I always search for bb btms (using advanced filters) and make sure no strict fukn tops (sorry, just hate these guys) and no "safe only"
Send a quick message to the ones i like and I get "i don't btm" or "no bareback". I get the few assholes here and there but sent 10 messages recently and all of them gave me one od these answers...

Is RM invaded by thirst traps?

Once you've been doing this hobby for a while you get that 6th sense. I haven't (knock on wood) been propositioned by law enforcement. But you need to do research before you meet, in all honesty half these guys are using old pics and you need add at least 5 years to the age and 10-20 pounds to the pics. Don't worry about he cops, worry about being robbed or worse videoed without your permission. Always check the boards on here and ask the guy who posted what they are like.

We are all here to help, none of us want to read that someone got taken advantage of or worse. I've been catfished numerous times but I still go along with it. Last time in PHX, I met the guy and was like "really dude...you need to update your pics" and we still had a good time.

To me it's obvious when an ad seems fishy, you just feel it. The pic is of some really gorgeous guy, from some other country and there are no nudes, just maybe 1-5 pics all PG rated and a very limited description, maybe 5 words in a sentence. No phone number, no reviews, and the ad is usually up less than a week. Watch all your key words, if there is no mention of position or anything else.....it's a dud or they are straight trying to make an extra buck off you by allowing you in their presence. Some guys love throwing money out the window like that..not me....if I don't get a sense that they get naked and f___, they don't get my money. I can watch beautiful men at the gym and it cost nothing but my membership. I love eye candy!!!

The last warning will be the final one and by then it's too late, if they greet you at the door and ask for the money up front and ask what you want to do, the police need those two things on tape to scoop you up. If there is no conversation of, "hello, how are you, my name is _____ lets sit and talk" be wary.... Most straight cops will be distant and probably on the other side of the room or they will have furniture between you and them. There will be no physical interaction between you and them and once they hear you say the magic words, they give the signal and it's all over.

How do I know all this? I used to work for the cops.

Well...there’s some real people on Grindr. I actually met a guy there who I was for sure was a fake, but everything about him was real.
Almost one of those “he’s out of league” types.

However, it’s true for the most part Grindr is largely unproductive in quests. I just can’t even discuss Grindr anymore, because I’m tired of talking about it. I had to explain to one guy that it’s not that guys on Grindr are playing tricks on him, but it’s the fact that most of them don’t want to do any more than they have to. It’s a site for convenience, but we waste so much time on it.

I only use Grind when I’m in a position to meet, usually when I already met enough clients (or non at all and need to make urgent use of the hotel bed). Some people try to use it expecting “something” out of it. Most guys on Grindr can’t host, so that in itself complicates the process.

Bathhouses are direct to the point, but sometimes I debate what I want. Lemme just say something: part of me feels a certain way about men who meet other men ONLY for sex. Some gay guys treat other gay men like they are only good for having sex with. That’s the part that kinda rubs me about the baths. It also establishes the idea that being gay is a fetish, a sex thing, not an identity. Not that there’s anything wrong with meeting men for sex, but I like to feel there’s more to it, outside of my business hours.

Gay bars tend to ease up off that whole “I’m gay, therefore I’m only here to have sex.” It’s more social. Issue is, nowadays thanks to social apps, gay bars are more like high school cafeterias with cliques and attitude, than places to socialize and be sexy and single. That’s why as I get older, I’m feeling like the bathhouses are a better opportunity for solo hunts.

You’re ABSOLUTELY RIGHT again. YES I did. And? Grindr is a sleazy app. What does that have to do with bars and bathhouses?

Grindr is sleazy not because men are hooking up for sex, but because people use that app in a way that gives sleaze to it. Going on an app where most messages include 10 dick and ass pics and saying “hi” before even know my name IS SLEAZY...because Grindr was never marketed as a hookup sites.

Bathhouse on the other hand, it’s marketed as a place to find encounters. Therefore, it’s not sleazy, it’s simply operating in the manner it was designed for. Atleast in a bath house, you can pick and choose who’s dick or ass you see. Grindr is just like...SURPRISE! Here’s my dick and ass!

This is why I can't wait for virtual reality to get better. Why waste my time and money when I can put on a headset with headphones and do the same thing for an unlimited amount of time? Any angle, position and can fast forward and rewind or pause with remote in one hand and dick in the other with the illusion of being in the same room. When technology goes even further I can say "pose in my favorite position" and the guy will do what I ask....

Body builders are still my weakness, I've never gone to a show but i imagine I would be frustrated as hell staring at all that beef and not having my towel and lube handy. It's been tough to find a good body builder hire that rocks my world, but I found him and then he moved away. He was the only guy I wouldn't mind doing the whole muscle worship thing for because he would give up that ass for me any way I wanted. Damn I miss him!!!

Just went on a small vacation for some fun and almost walked away with nothing. I had planned this trip about 2 weeks ago and contacted various guys and even though it was early they told me to contact them when I got to town. I narrowed my search to 3 guys and then to one and had set up a date for us to meet. He told me to let him know when I got into town and we could work on the time. I contacted him and he told me that he had to work at the last minute for someone that called out sick. I thought okay...we do what we have to, so I moved onto the next guy. He told me he was getting his hair cut and then he had to go dance at the club he is a go-go boy at. Then I contacted the third (out of desperation) and he didn't even reply. I thought...damn this is really going to suck. I checked into my room, pulled the laptop out and started doing damage control, got a hold of an old reliable masseur and got a last minute rub down. Unfortunately he's not the type to do happy ending so I ended up getting a hold of someone that I usually don't go for. He came by and we had a great time. After this trip I'm nervous about even going on these small trips for fun because this is the second time I almost walked away with nothing. Am I just having bad luck or is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Sorry guys but again scratching my head here. Not trying to put anyone down yet we all have to grow up here and be smart about it. Generosity is fine. If he asked for the money..GIVE it to him no questions asked. If you cant afford that when he asks to borrow money tell him "better yet let's have an extra session on x and you can leave with that money after the session".

My regular who has moved recently lost a day job he had. Somewhat bummed out knowing money would be tight till he left. I said "I have an idea. Let's get together twice a week instead of once a week till you leave". Helped him out financially and no need to ever ask me to borrow any money (this is a great guy and I highly doubt he would have ever asked in the first place).

Benelovency is an awesome thing. Give freely and generously when someone is in need. Setting up a situation to be taken advantage of is another.

Obviously I wasn't crazy enough to fall for that shit so I didn't even bother to reply. Then he disappeared for about 7 months and now I see he has new pics and has roided up. Yes the pics show a really nice piece of ass but there are other guys who have been in film and are well reviewed that are worth it.

Recently though I’ve found myself returning again and again to a local guy. I’ve seen him 5-6 times since January, and his particular combo of muscle, aggression, and goofy personality keeps drawing me back—not to mention the smoking hot texts and photos he sends me now and then as reminders; so I may have found my regular!
