I have to co-sign Dominus. He's very kind and affectionate. He's from Nigeria and has a beautiful accent and speaking voice. Incredibly smart and well-traveled. Overall, he's just a great time. And if you want to go for anything sexual, he's up for it all. One of the best providers I've met.

A British accent or a Nigerian accent, may I ask?

Holy shit. You've got to be denser than a lead cannonball. News flash: THE STATISTICS AREN'T MEASURING THOSE HOSPITALIZED BECAUSE OF THE VIRUS--THEY MEASURE ANYONE WHO TESTS POSTIVE. Just look at U. of Michigan's data (one of the few hospitals in your state that reports its data individually):

    https://www.uofmhealth.org/coronavirus/covid19-numbers

    ...

As of May 20, 8:00 am

    • Total patients tested for COVID-19 at Michigan Medicine since the pandemic began (includes pending tests): 395,718
    • Total positive tests: 23,080
    • Tests pending (waiting for results): 50
    • Current inpatients that are COVID-19 positive:46
    • Pediatric patients that are COVID-19 positive: 11
    • Total COVID-19 patients discharged to date: 5,450
    • COVID-19 patients discharged yesterday: 14...

In other words, they test every single person who walks through their doors, regardless of the reason for admission, and are reporting everyone who tests positive, NOT people who are admitted BECAUSE of the virus.

I would think it would be intuitive to almost anyone, even babies, that if the test positivity increases by 7-fold in the general population, that there would be SOME increase in the test positivity rate in those entering the hospital, even though the positive test has nothing to do with the reason the patient is in the hospital. You honestly can't understand this? The amazing facts are that the rate of increase is even lower, and the rate of positivity among hospitalized patients is even lower than that of the general population (not the opposite).

Are you honestly telling me you can't understand this????

Fortunately, the obvious facts are also apparent to every public health official, who agrees with me, and disagrees with you. I accept the fact that you'll never be a man who'll admit when he was wrong.

We have stopped the mandatory covid testing for patients and shut down the screening facility. So the category of patients with covid disappeared. Nowadays the covid positive patients all have severe symptoms and a high percentage are in ICU.

Ask the people of Shanghai how that's going.

Conversely, I believe we'll find that the rules and lockdowns caused more long term health problems to society than the virus itself ever could have.

The second point is simply false. Wuhan, Bergamot and New York City all showed what covid can do.
Shanghai is a different matter. With an effective vaccine, it maybe preferable to let covid run its course, but the Chinese government slow walked the approval of mRNA vaccine and their domestic vaccine may not be effective enough to let the covid run freely.

Not necessarily.  I used Venmo a few times to pay one particular provider and the name associated with his Venmo handle didn't divulge his full name, just two initials.  Those were his real initials, but if I didn't already know his name, Venmo wouldn't have provided it.

You can manage to stay anonymous on Venmo or Cash App. But I don’t think that you can do that with Zelle.

  5. Here is my dilemma: if a “friend” lied about not getting the Zelle payment, how can I trust a stranger not playing the same trick? Just imagine that after I send the payment, he claims that he did not get it and ask me to send it again. It can get really awkward really fast.

I used cash app and Zelle with my regulars before without any hesitation. If there is a level of trust, preference for online payment is fine.

Zelle, due to being sponsored direct through banks, is a tough one to scam.

Perhaps he just wants to claim it on taxes so he can build up to buying a car, home, etc.

There are many legit reasons escorts would want a controlled papertrail.

Zelle is a honor system. A former friend claimed that he never received the Zelle payment from me whereas the bank insisted that it was instantly cleared.

I find paper tax forms with the instruction booklet the easiest to use.  No internet connection required.  It's a little too late to have the tax forms mailed to you from the IRS, but you can pick up the forms and instructions you need at the local IRS office, and some public libraries.

The problem is that the IRS is so short handed that they still have not cleared all tax returns from last year. Filling a paper tax return may delay the processing for months again this year too.

So mom and I have both had three vaccine shots so far...all Pfizer.  Mom is 94 and I am 62.  Neither of us have had Covid as far as we know.   We are currently planning for her to get the 4th shot this month (it's been about 6 months since she had the first booster).  My instinct tells me to go with another Pfizer shot.  Is there any medically-driven reason to go with something different for the fourth shot...say Moderna?  We have both tolerated the Pfizer jabs quite well.

There are some early data from Europe that getting a different mRNA vaccine produced better immune response. This is based purely on the level of antibodies induced, not real life hospitalization or death data.

Case rates are irrelevant. What's important are hospitalization rates. Lord (and Xi) only knows what's going on in China, but if their vaccine doesn't work, they should just stop being idiots and use the western vaccines. China is very good on forcing their citizens to do shit, so they shouldn't have any trouble mandating vaccines for all of their citizens and anyone entering the country. Vaccinate everyone--->no one gets seriously ill--->problem solved.

There has been very few severe cases in the current omicron surge in China. It is very different from what is happening in Hong Kong. Their continuing pursuit of zero covid policy makes as little sense as their continued support of Putin.

I almost always have a watch on. And I have a whole wall in my living room decorated with different clocks. I love clocks.

Are all your clocks running on the same time?
