Ever thought of making a move on a contractor in your home?
+ bashful replied to studchaser's topic in The Lounge
So today, I'm in the grocery store, I ask this young guy who was stocking shelves where was something. He gave me a look, and said over here, and began to walk down the middle aisle. As he walked down the middle aisle, he pulled up his pants with both hands by the back belt loops, but it wasn't just a quick move. He kept his hands on the belt loops pulling up on his pants the whole time I was following him past five aisles. When he got to the aisle, held out his arm. I thanked him. Later, I was back in the aisle he was stocking, and he just sort of looked at me. Not sure what was going on. -

I had to wear an event monitor after an echo cardiogram. The eastern European hot guy, who did the echo, seemed to make it a point to stop by after I was later set up on a monitor. We chatted for a bit. I actually thought I might be back, so I was nonchalant. The good news was I don't need more tests. Think you can figure the bad news. -

The guy who came to install my new dishwasher was a short hunky guy with a bald head, mid 30s. I was on the other side of the pony wall separating the kitchen from the hall watching him. He was on his hands and knees a lot, and it seemed as if he was purposely sticking out his nice round butt. I have his number when he called from his cell phone to say he was near my house. I may need to have another appliance installed soon. -
Have been wondering too. He's not far, looks good, does incalls, and has evening appointments, but rates a bit high (assuming therapeutic only). Hope someone can enlighten us.

Not the case in Illinois. Often, percentage of ownership is based on pre-construction prices. Since higher floors usually have higher prices, a 1,200 square foot floor plan on the 25th floor will have a higher HOA fee than the same 1,200 square foot floor plan on the 4th floor.

I think he's a nice guy. He was my first hire, and my first time being with a man. I was so nervous. He took me on a nice 1 hour journey, so I have a soft spot in my heart for him. Good at conversation, playful, but as his ad says, was vanilla. Met him twice, and would again. 2nd time still good, but it was at the end of a long stretch of weeks and several cities, so I think he was just tired and wanted to get home. There are some other comments on the forums. Seems to charge the going rate, and discounts for multiple hours.

Clever Accessorizing to Distract From Your Ugly Sofa

Maybe not. They seem to work for the guy on the right when he asks guys to come in and sit a spell. -
Time to renew my membership to the Art Institute.

I get it that it's a tool to gauge the interest of clients in particular city before committing funds for airfare and hotels. They need to be sure the outlay will have financial benefits. However, it gets tiresome to see an ad pop up when window shopping, and when you click on it, you see a list of six other cities during the same time frame. It doesn't surprise me anymore. Just wait to see what changes. What becomes frustrating is when the ad later seems to have dates sorted out, and then a few days later, your city is pulled off the itinerary, and a new one is plugged into it's place. No point to contacting in advance.

LOL. It was was several years ago, so memory may not be correct, but it was 2nd floor, close to the elevator, may have been 201. Have fun. Edit - forgot to mention, there was a hand held shower nozzle to wash specific areas.

Not handicapped, but between my osteoarthritis, which at times makes it difficult to climb over the side of the tub, and occasional episodes of positional vertigo (BPPV), which makes a grab bar a benefit, I often request an accessible room just to make life easier. Often, I forgo the accessible room because they are connecting rooms, which I hate. If the shower has a flat floor, and only a night or two, I'll deal with it. The best accessible bathroom I experienced for my needs was the Intercontinental in Century City. Non-connecting, wide bathroom, flat floor to walk into the shower, a grab bar all around, and a small seat suspended from the grab bar opposite the shower nozzle.

No GPS, or similar, is perfect, which is why, like @mike carey , I check a map in advance. A previous car had nav, but was not reliable, so have not bought a car with it since. Now rely on Onstar in my car, or a Garmin. I've had my best experience when in suburban, or exurban areas. Thankfully, when I didn't bring the Garmin along, a rental car GPS' has gotten me around southern CA., and the Maryland/DC area. In Chicago, I've had the most problems with Onstar. A couple times it told me to turn onto a street were it was impossible (Lake Shore Drive), or onto a street the wrong way, It also seems to get confused with the upper and lower streets, such as Wacker, and Michigan. Plus, it doesn't always pronounce street names correctly, nor do some of the operators when I call. You should hear Onstar pronounce "Mies van der Rohe", or have an operator try to find directions to a place on Weslake instead of West Lake, or when the operator gets confused when some address in the burbs has a letter in the middle of the address, and they think the letter is part of the street name. You actually have to argue with them, or give them the name of the business, and let them use that. My Garmin, when home and used as a back-up to get upcoming streets, can never seen to pick up the satellite when I turn it on to begin a trip downtown, but seems to continue working downtown when I begin my trip in the burbs and end up downtown.

Not entirely. I paid off my mortgage 15 years ago so it's no longer a consideration for budgeting. However, my association fee increases almost every year, and my taxes have been on a roller coaster. They jumped up in the boom, went down in the bust, and just last year, an almost 40% increase in property taxes. I guess it depends on where you live. I hear New Jersey has the highest property tax, and Illinois has the 2nd highest after New Jersey.

Time to upgrade. My first burner phone wasn't a flip phone, but an early smartphone that was more difficult for texting than my personal phone. Didn't use it often, but after a couple of years, saw an ad at a local store that had a newer Samsung Tracfone on saie for $79. Not fancy, but its more user friendly when texting.

He's changed names often. Search denpower.

With my limited experience, they all know more than me. I'm not worried about my age. Speaking of young, have discovered the 30+ guys I've met have provided the most enjoyment to this older (and wider) guy.

I haven't landed at either, and probably no comparison, but my first time landing at LaGuardia (in a 767), for a moment I thought we were going in the water.

He used to go by the name TJ, and was talked about in the "chicago-masseurs" thread. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/chicago-masseurs.106558/page-3#post-1139515

Trying to find the “right” city to move to, but so hard.

Probably more accurate if I said any part of the world (not anywhere). Except Africa. Have to make one stop/connection. -

Chicago. I put up with high taxes too, and the rents I hear are high. Summer is the best time. Only occasionally too hot/humid.
