Early 60s here. I constantly get those invites for dinner. I've thought of attending, just for the free dinner, but then I equate it to the many invites I also get for an extremely low price for five nights in Maui, only to read the fine print at the bottom of the invitation that says its for the purpose of time share sales. Don't want to deal with the hard sell.

For me, the best kissers know timing and technique. I have no intention of ever having something like that installed. I drive so little, my insurance is low as it is. My driving record should be enough. Don't need, or want to be monitored just to save a couple bucks.

Tracfone. $100 a year, after buying an inexpensive phone ($79 for mine). Enough talk and text time if you don't hire often. Pay cash for the phone, and pay cash for the annual card. Easy-peasy.

As a transplant to Chicago 30 years ago... I heard, and I still say today "I'm going to the Jewel". If someone needs a couple of bucks, "can you borrow me 10 bucks" I miss Dominick's, and now, Carson's.
