The Upper House Hong Kong. Beyond luxe. I had a view of Hong Kong harbor from my bed, the shower, the bathtub, the dressing room. And the regular non suite room was probably about 1000sf. In HK. In Wan Chai!
Sukhothai Bangkok is very nice as well and I quite liked the room and service at the Peninsula Tokyo, but not much of a view from its location in Maru-no-uchi/Hibiya

Love the HK Peninsula. Great workout facilities and pool. Love the men’s room at Felix where you feel you are peeing on the city:). Old enough to remember the hotel before they built the tower!

The Sukhothai in Bangkok! (and I generally do not like/appreciate "luxe" hotels....)

Well, this should belong to another topic, but in this regard, I loved the Four Season in Chicago and the Sanderson in London. Hate to sound like Mae West, but all things being equal, there is no comparison between a hot time in a fancy hotel and one at a Motel 6!

1957 Broadway lyrics
ROSALIA
Puerto Rico,
You lovely island . . .
Island of tropical breezes.
Always the pineapples growing,
Always the coffee blossoms blowing . . .
ANITA
Puerto Rico . . .
You ugly island . . .
Island of tropic diseases.
Always the hurricanes blowing,
Always the population growing . . .
And the money owing,
And the babies crying,
And the bullets flying.
I like the island Manhattan.
Smoke on your pipe and put that in!

O.K. by me in America!
Ev'rything free in America
For a small fee in America!
ROSALIA
I like the city of San Juan.
ANITA
I know a boat you can get on.
ROSALIA
Hundreds of flowers in full bloom.
ANITA
Hundreds of people in each room!
ALL
Automobile in America,
Chromium steel in America,
Wire-spoke wheel in America,
Very big deal in America!
ROSALIA
I'll drive a Buick through San Juan.
ANITA
If there's a road you can drive on.
ROSALIA
I'll give my cousins a free ride.
ANITA
How you get all of them inside?
ALL
Immigrant goes to America,
Many hellos in America;
Nobody knows in America
Puerto Rico's in America!
ROSALIA
I'll bring a T.V. to San Juan.
ANITA
If there a current to turn on!
ROSALIA
I'll give them new washing machine.
ANITA
What have they got there to keep clean?
ALL
I like the shores of America!
Comfort is yours in America!
Knobs on the doors in America,
Wall-to-wall floors in America!
ROSALIA
When I will go back to San Juan.
ANITA
When you will shut up and get gone?
ROSALIA
Everyone there will give big cheer!
ANITA
Everyone there will have moved here!
1961 film lyrics
ANITA
Puerto Rico,
My heart's devotion—
Let it sink back in the ocean.
Always the hurricanes blowing,
Always the population growing,
And the money owing,
And the sunlight streaming,
And the natives steaming.
I like the island Manhattan—
Smoke on your pipe and put that in!

JohnGerman got a reaction from Populist Fury in Swooning over Adam Rippon Figure skater
I agree. The men's single figure skating has really passed him by. What is he really good at? Degree of difficulty? Heck no. He has never landed a quad in any competition and in Olympics he didn't even have the guts to give it a try. Artistry? Just in the U.S, Jason Brown is better. Femininity? Johnny Weird was better. Watching his couple interviews with Andrea Joyce (sp?), I didn't get the sense that he is that eloquent or even smart. The media is trying very hard to turn him into some kind of new age diversity gay icon, which he clearly cannot measure up to.

The origin of Mazda is in Zoroastrianism, could be a link there (so perhaps Persian). Speculation on my part.

Do you guys like Kostner? I think she’s way overrated. Just an opinion.
But yes, they need to focus on the jumps and techniques first. Artistry comes later

I'm sorry guys..I am NOT enamored with him. I think the media is TRYING to turn him into a GAY icon, but he just doesnt have the goods. He's a flash in the pan, unless he's smart and can turn his 15 minutes into something greater than a Wheaties Box. For me, he's a Davey Wavey wannabee, shrill, cocky and annoying. Girls LOVES that spotlight !
But here's how I feel.....

The museum has much responsibility there. Global treasures like that should not be exhibited "naked." They should either be behind some type of glass screen or be kept with sufficient distance from viewing audience. Most of all, it's just a complete security breakdown.

Wow, I sure am glad Jonathan Pryce and his religious zealots are now up in smoke. While I don't like Cersei, I am glad she did this. My only regret for this outcome is the death of Margaery and Loras. I like Margaery and was hoping to see what she would have up her sleeves. It was kinda like promise unfulfilled. As for Loras, his death deprived us more guy on guy action.

I agree with you. Maybe a few years ago this guy was hot but if you look at today's hot honeys for TGIF he can not compete with any of them with two or three possible exceptions. Age is a major determinant of beauty, the hair, face , skin look very different in time

JohnGerman reacted to Diverdan in Ballet appreciation thread
Thanks for this wonderful post,Marylander.... I am such a fan of ballet and appreciate these so much !! Ballet dancers have often been used to help train other athletes, because of their ability to control movement and because they are probably in better shape than almost all athletes. Seeing some of the guys jump and do splits in mid air is mind boggling. Epigonos, I hope you can find someone who can help you figure out how to post those two pictures of Nureyev... he was indeed very well hung...
These photos remind me of a chance encounter I had in Chicago many years ago with a member of the Bolshi, who will remain nameless. It was during the time that all artists had security escorts to keep them from defecting. I met him in a rest room in downtown Chicago at a hotel where he was staying.... to make a long story short, we were able to spend the afternoon in his hotel room and have a lot of fun together. I can still picture him as if the encounter occurred yesterday.
So, thanks again, Marylander for these wonderful pictures of incredibly gifted dancers.

No, it's the medical term for his condition, although "little person" or "LP" may be more popular or common.
