I met him a few weeks ago in NYC. Thought I give him a try as my regulars were away. 
He did everything we agreed, which is great and he bottomed but I found him quiet full of himself and having a poor attitude. 
He doesn't look like his pictures, not as slim or toned as pictured. He's put on maybe 10 to 20 pounds since those photos online.

Well...keep in mind that a "perfect" relationship is someone very likely different from your perfect fuck. Back in the glory days of backpage, I basically got robbed for confronting a guy that used faked pictures. I stupidly let him into my hotel room, then confronted him about his pictures. He pretended to call a friend to jump me, so I just paid him and he left. Luckily he only charged like 50 dollars for his rate. Escorting is a business, but it’s not regulated in the United States. What should I have done in that situation, call the cops and tell them I’m being robbed by an escort that I hired?

Well...in HIS case he posted photos of himself already plump....so the goods were already mostly in the window. But as @56harrisond mentions  he is even fatter in his photos on X. So there is still a misrepresented situation here.
Personally, I HAVE in--fact encountered more than one situation where I met up with someone from Grindr or Rent.men/masseur....and they show up 20 pounds heavier than their photos. I will and DO tell them to their face : that "this isnt-gonna-work". I think that misrepresentation of facts on hook-up/escort sites is problematic, when you're attracted to the aesthetics, and not necessarily their personality as @KensingtonHomo claims to be. 
I have zero interest in paying to fuck someone who's let themselves go. No matter what the driving factors in sexual attraction, the factors exist and form our viewpoints on what we deem attractive. 
Those social conditionings DO create normatives and because of that that is a common baseline in qualities that MOST people find attractive. Beyond that we are all aware of the fact that people form fetishes for various stimuli that are outside of these standards of beauty. So when we start discussing "perfection" the assumption is that MOST people are going to share in your declaration of attractiveness, not question whether or not someone has posted the wrong link.

Even on Grindr. I had someone ( many years ago) show up, having sent me photos of this gorgeous ballet dancer, who I was totally rock-hard for. The man shows up looking 10 years older and totally pear shaped instead of the tight six pak, and bubble butted self, he once was.
