I lived across the street from a Jewish family when I was a kid, and was friends with their daughter who was my age. I remember during Passover, I was invited to join them for the seder, but was told to NOT enter the kitchen. Apparently that would have thrown the whole ritual off !

Jewish Deli and Kosher Jewish Deli aren't the same thing. I love a good reuben sandwich. I can get one at a Jewish Deli but not a Kosher Deli. The rest of the food will likely be bland and tasteless as Ashkanazi Jews tend to also like bland food like a lot of the folks who populated the US during the 1900s. (Italians are the obvious exception).

Why does everything need to be served spicy now? Probably because the US is finally catching up with the rest of the known world where they like their food to actually taste like something. (Great Britain not included).

I imagine a Stouffers frozen dinner has a specific heat time...as far as paella, the best ones (my opinion) are those which have been infused for hours with all the flavors. It's quite easy to grow. Find a spot in dappled sunlight and moist soil. It will take over quickly and provide you with plenty for a mix in your salads if you don't care for upper class finger-sandwiches. Most every decent food hall in NYC will carry it but middle America chain supermarkets won't.

You seem to be under the impression that everyone needs a degree from a school to have acquired skills. I happen to be a very good cook and many have suggested I open a restaurant. I didn't learn in a school. I learned from other people and developed my own style. Likewise . . I've been to many Thai massage providers with this same background in their training who are excellent and quite well aware of the anatomy of the human body.
