News flash: You may have just discovered this reality but this business model isn't new. Yes. It allows the provider a bit more leverage in the transaction. Filtering out the worst and offering extras to the best. Thus destroying the opportunity for some. The world is a velvet rope game. Looks or cash to get in the door.
