Although I agree with the above statement I would also like to point out that there is a flip side to this idea of stereotyping. In my experience as a young man in an all white community ...the girls I grew up with were uptight about sex but down in Philadelphia the black girls were far more approachable and fun in bed. As I became active with men I found the same to be true. Rather than fetishizing black men I just assume they are going to be better in bed. I think with all sexuality it's about what your mind attached to in your formative years...and you can't really grow out of that much once you're set. I never had a problem stepping out side the box when I was growing up....so I developed a more sex positive outlook and wasn't beholden to negative stereotypes. Too many people grow up in a very narrow world view and they never let go of that.

Indeed. When I was in High School ( late 80s ) the wrestling coach would occasionally jump in the shower to rinse off too. Nobody thought anything of it. Never heard a word about him being anything but straight as straight can be. Same at the public pool...would strip off my swim trunks and shower next to my naked father, balls dangling everywhere.
