  1. Thank you. My point exactly. Beyond the open sexual behaviors, the bigger problems are the more common disrespect shown to homeowners and families such as open drug use ( shooting up / crack pipes ) as well as deliberate destruction of property, public urination (the entire neighborhood smells like a toilet the next day) screaming and blasting music until 4:00 AM and rubbish thrown into every corner, instead of using the many receptacles provided. The overall point I am trying to make is that NONE of this behavior HELPS gain ANY respect for LGBT people. It makes them look like a bunch of hostile/aggressive and unsafe wild animals, which does nothing but give people excuses to hate gays and lesbians more ( not less ).
  2. Is he ? That's interesting. Didn't know that. Thanks.
  3. Is he/she transgender ? 🤔
  4. That man is a work of art.
  5. We have one of those Japanese toilets that washes and dries your ass. I don't feel clean using toilet paper since we started using ours. We are planning to swap out all our toilets now.
  6. Seriously? One could get into a real pissing match over which ethnic group is the laziest in the US and it ain't the rednecks.
  7. In this case...it's live squid sashimi ...so chopped into pieces. But apparently the nerve endings continue to move and the suckers cling-on even after detaching from the brain..so the effect on your dining experience is unique.
  8. CGI vanity shots come up with some very unrealistic images.
  9. Thank you @BOZO T CLOWN
  10. Don't be sorry. Dignity is in short supply today. It's nice to know some people are considerate of children.
  11. He sounds more like someone who's simply got a level of self respect. Why the shade ?
  12. My kids certainly got an education when we came home one year after a Pride march and there was a man giving a blowjob to another man on the steps of the house next door. It's not like the neighborhood is that dark at night. These people just have no respect for the homeowners and families. Until you experience the aftermath of this circus, you wouldn't know what we go through here. The neighbors all call it the "Freakshow". Not a term that exhibits this event gaining any respect from the community. And nothing to be "proud" of for the gays. It's embarrassing to me and my wife that we are actually part of this LGBTQXYZ thing. No. My kids DON'T have a great time.
  13. In other words: You don't have an intelligent answer available so you will instead pass along an insult in it's place.
  14. Thanks @José Soplanucas Yes, Mariano López Seoane's writing is a good example of the kind of demonizing the culture of dignity, pride and self respect. But then so many Latin American countries have "revolutions" every five minutes that always end up with the same results. Amusing that they still sell books about their constant failure to exert meaningful social change. through "dissonance". Money and power always wins. But I suppose its nice to dream.
  15. Sad but true. It's the people who scream and chant demanding respect that demonize the culture of dignity, pride and self respect.
  16. They also have live octopus sashimi that's a real hit with your female friends who are guaranteed to scream as it wiggles to get out of your mouth and it's little suckers hang on for dear life while you chew it up and swallow
  17. I didn't even know there was a Murray Hill in Queens ! ( The East 30's in Manhattan is also called Murray Hill ). My favorite Korean restaurant is in Woodside SIK GAEK – Korean BBQ & Seafood SIKGAEKWOODSIDE.COM
  18. That was always my impression. Thanks for sharing your insider's viewpoint and your story.
  19. I think @Unicorn makes the best point in his "98 out of 101 dead" logic. When tragedy strikes humans will typically cling to hope until absolutely certain there is nothing to cling to. I don't doubt Mr. Cameron was 99.9% sure the vessel had a catastrophic failure. But for the family - assurance of that .1% will be necessary to bring closure. I've seen people keep loved ones on life support long after brain activity has shut down, never to return. Just on the slightest of chances a miracle will happen. People spend too many years listening to fairy tales as children and end up as adults who believe in miracles.
  20. Love this one.
  21. Nice to know there are some gentlemen left out there. Bravo on being the considerate customer.
  22. When I was younger, unmarried and identifying as "gay", I traveled Morocco with an attractive male companion. I hired a professional guide to show us around, who informed us that although Morocco is officially an Islamic country, places like Casablanca, Marrakesh, and Fez have their eye on your tourist dollar not your morality. One eye open/ one eye SHUT as he said. I don't doubt the prevalence of escorts traveling the Middle East are navigating the same attitude.
  23. I remember Bluto as being big and buff, not fat.
  24. Perhaps you should take a break. Different people have different opinions. If that troubles you, then open forums are the wrong place to converse. For my part, I applaud @Thelatinfor saying what everyone is thinking who ISN'T a fan of the gay march thing every year. It used to be a fun / festive event. Now NY Pride is way too big / way too politicized / and way too full of disrespectful out-of-towners who destroy property, piss in every corner and vomit profusely on my door step. If you saw the massive pile of trash (and heroin needles, crack pipes and broken liquor bottles) left over in the streets Monday morning you might understand why residents of Greenwich Village have a different viewpoint about the event from people who come here to enjoy the parade and leave us with their mess.
  25. Your chances of being violently murdered for being gay are the highest in Brazil according to this article. StackPath XTRAMAGAZINE.COM
