The question is what needs to happen for one to feel comfortable hiring. Some have said “never again” and clearly some are hiring now.
 
What statistic must be met or rule of law rescinded for everyone to feel ok ?
 
I haven't decided that for myself.

Considering the demographic that hires is the hardest being hit by the virus, I’m alarmed and disappointed that people are still nonchalantly reaching out to providers.

Guys - this all boils down to what most of us on this Forum have experiened and said and that is . . . YMMV. Plain and simple.

Try Kenzo, as well. Seems to fit the bill for what you are after. Just be up front about what you want and he can deliver.

Wow - went today - on a Tuesday afternoon between work and a business dinner - maybe 4-6pm. Great space - lots of rooms and well laid out. Clean, and as common in Europe- a full service bar so you can get a drink and relax. Gym, hot tub, steam room, sauna, showers, porn playing everywhere ....and great play space.....and the thing that amazed me the most - it was really busy! I would guess minimum 40-50 guys....and a wide range of ages and types. While skewed to middle aged, there were some really hot younger guys and a mix of some older - way more guys than I would ever expect to see state side on a Tuesday afternoon. And lots of action going on.

I like everything to be true not fake like here. Yes I am straight. My “cold personality” as guys mentioned before is my Ukrainian mentality, we all hold distance with strangers especially when they act weird and treat us bad as all those reviewers did, but trust me once we see the person is normal then we become closer and every meeting is like old friends ( none of those who left a comment on me came the second time for obvious reasons and they was blocked by me cause I also have a choice of who I want to see)

I once contacted Halif Faruk on PlanetRomeo when in Barcelona and I asked for his rate, he told me 50 euros. Had a wonderful time lol
 
Another guy, who I met off of RentMen, kept in touch with me and I would hook up with him whenever I returned to his city no charge, we just were genuinely into eachother and enjoyed each other's company.

It was $45 to get to me and presumably another $45 to get back, in addition to the $160 for the massage.
 
My gripe isn't so much paying for it, so much as it was never mentioned, and seemed to be based on how far he had to travel. I suppose in the reverse, if I'm not willing to travel to the other end of the city to a provider, I won't hire him. But in the case of a provider, if you do not even offer in calls, I kind of feel like it's on you to either absorb the time/cost of travel or factor that into your fee from the beginning.
 
As for reviews on the guy, they were so so, but he has a great body, so I was willing to take the plunge.

I tried the search function a couple of ways and didn't see a thread on this...apologies in advance if I missed something.
 
I recently contacted a masseur who only offers out calls. I had reached out to him before but he was out of town. We messaged back and forth one day when I saw he was back in NYC, I confirmed his rate and then he asked for my address. Upon receiving it, he says I can send him an Uber along with his address. Out of curiosity I did an estimate for how much the ride would be and it turned out to be around $45 given there is a lot of traffic. His ad doesn't state anything about the client needing to pay for his transport there, or back for that matter and in our previous chat he never mentioned it either. (We are both in the same borough, albeit on different sides)
 
My question is: Is it fair for a provider to expect for the client to pay for transport if they only provide out calls, especially if it isn't stated in the ad in advance?
