The virus has only one genetic directive: find a host and replicate.

All of the variations in Long Covid symptoms relative to the nervous system won’t be known for a while. I know people who’ve experienced hearing loss, tinnitus, changes in vision, smell and taste - well after they were tested, diagnosed, treated, and otherwise recovered. Others have neuropathy, brain fog, or trouble with sleep. Each issue gets addressed separately (like the opportunistic infections rampant in the gay community decades ago) as the direct cause cannot be eradicated. One can’t go back and UNHAVE the virus. Differing viral loads which peak on different timelines in patients (with their own underlying defense mechanisms) and make it impossible to predict how the damage will show up later. Ask for a home sleep study. You may have developed apnea, which is easily treatable.

As with most things potentially harmful to health, diligent portion control lets one enjoy some of the benefits, while reducing some risks.

Sometimes, a small business owner just needs to vent, to other small business owners vending similar merchandise to a similar customer base. Traveling salesmen have different hurdles to jump in order to move the merchandise. They gotta love what they sell, gotta love interacting with the customers, gotta love learning what closes the deal, and ultimately leave each customer happy enough to check out what they’ve got to offer the next time they roll into town. It’s a harder way to sell, especially when some of the inventory has a sell-by date. That’s probably why many young traveling salesmen burn out, or have to find a new way to earn. Maybe it’s just not for everyone.

Javi the 31 year old in the Botox commercials
jeezifonly replied to Ali Gator's topic in TV and Streaming services
I could see a young actor feeling the need to smooth things out if he’s otherwise cast-able as a high school or college student. Darling as he is, Javi doesn’t express any work-related demand for a line-free face. If, for personal vanity, he’s doing Botox at 31, he will most likely be unrecognizable after all the other procedures he’ll be suckered into before 40. Too bad. A handsome man before. -
I just had the newest Moderna and the (senior) Flu shot -1 each arm, yesterday. I’ll feel better tomorrow, and with upcoming travel, glad both are crossed off the list. Pneumonia vax already handled at my GP, and will do RSV next month.

As Joan Crawford used to say, “You’re not really a STAR until you can tell Jack Warner to go f*ck himself as you hand him the molded replica of your junk with your name on the box”

Hey Guys - Hugh Jackman is 'on the market' at 55 years old !

I find it so amusing that fans of the work believe that a sexy celeb’s newfound single status gives them even a remote chance of a hook up with him. -
A great top can be any age, so long as his touch and technique inspires ass-hunger in the bottom.

Glad you found a match! Just out of curiosity, was there a particular event, conversation or video that resulted in your newfound confidence?

I was a scout a very long time ago…the 60’s. (Nineteen sixties…) Over the 3-4 years I was part of it there were no signs of it In my troop. But what would I know? I was clearly one of the “creative boys” and might have been a target, and had there been rumors (the meetings were at the church we attended, most adults members of it) I would have been yanked out by the parents. Gonna check this doc out.

Judge Mathis & The People's Court Cancelled
jeezifonly replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in TV and Streaming services
A courtroom, somewhere: Jury Selection, day one JUDGE, to pool: if you watch CourtTV, Judge Judy, or any other reality competition show that has Bench, Judge, or Court in the title, please stand now. Thank you. I now address those of you standing. If you believe the scenarios, rulings and outcome of any of those programs bear any resemblance to the proceedings of the matter before this court, GTFO. -

Time use when with clients…”on the clock”
jeezifonly replied to Archangel's topic in Questions About Hiring
Just like employees who spend their workday seeking connections for the next job more than doing the job they have now… they become less welcome in the workplace. So phone activity limited. Not off (for emergencies) but if time is the one thing guaranteed by the provider, it does need to be attentive, not passive, with me watching him chat and scroll. The max I ever book is a couple hours. One brief personal break within that is fine. -
United Auto Workers strike and how it would affect the economy!
jeezifonly replied to marylander1940's topic in The Lounge
Organized labor will make gains, is my prediction. Same with SAG/WGA. Not everything being asked, but negotiations have to be serious. High-profit industries get away with hoarding money at the top, until they don’t. -

Happened once, masseur fixed immediately. Ask to connect your device to his speakers via Bluetooth and you can have your own music cued up. (I have found tons I like on YT, with Premium to avoid ads.)

RentMen is terrible as a source of accurate location information. Available Now will list all Gold/Platinum members in all cities listed in their profile, at the same time, even if provider’s GPS input varies (they have to grant permission, just like clients do) and regardless of written date info in the profile.

Love visiting ABQ/Santa Fe! Dear friends who wanted to retire from LA to an afforadable place with land, and they’ve hit the jackpot outside Albuquerque They turned us on to local investment residential properties, and the predicted return since we bought has been exceeded. Would not live there, this old city mouse.

The unique human connection that formed a company for which there was mutual passion about (and talent for) selecting the products they sold. Removing the original heart in it, (which investment buyers do not see) the brand became overpriced furniture.
