Agreed! This one frustrates me! Lol
He ticks all the boxes - looks wise, size wise, body wise, etc. - yet there’s all the negative feedback on him. To confound matters, for all the “kookoo for coco puffs” feedback, there are several well established, trusted forum members who say just the opposite 🤷🏼‍♂️

Like I said, this one frustrates me.

I’ve never been a “Slim Jim”. I’ve been 6’2” since I was about 14 yo, I’ve a big build, and throughout childhood, teens, uni days, and good few years after, I was in decent shape - muscular/beefy kind of fellow. But, as happens, the pounds packed on with more office, less gym time. I was always upfront in my RM client profile about my size. I’ve never been declined because of it. The most anyone ever said about it was in person a provider mentioned how I didn’t look the weight I listed at all, I carried it well. A well cut suit, shirt can hide a multitude of sins! 😜

There are certain providers who, for whatever reason, will decline an engagement with an overweight client. It is what it is. You can usually suss out if that’s the case in their profile text, their “into” section, even their interview answers. Also, look at the client profiles of any reviews. Of course, checking here will offer a ton of intel too - either in the forums or via PM/DM. These providers I believe are the ones to ignore, no matter how tempting. To my mind, they’re treating their RM ad more like a Grindr/Scruff/etc. ad. Especially the ones with the tag “Discount for VGL/Fit” or “Discount for college”.

The providers who have no such language in their ads, don’t use those tags, are I believe the real professionals. As such, they’re the ones in high demand, and the ones you want to engage when possible.

I would agree that it’s only polite or fair to let a provider know about any physical limitations involved - whether that’s because of weight or any other reason. I hesitate to use the word “deformities”, but advising the provider of any, shall we say, not regular physical conditions is also a good idea. Case in point - some years ago, when I still was playing rugby, I was nursing a leg injury. Meeting the provider at the bar for a drink prior to adjourning upstairs, I made mention about potential limitations due to the leg, and he went white as a sheet, and his eyes got wide as saucers. Anyway off we went, fun time was had by all, and after I did ask about his reaction in the bar. He kind of laughed a bit bashfully, and confessed to a similar interaction with a client in another bar earlier in the week where the client knocked back two doubles in quick succession, and joked with the provider not to worry, he had a wooden leg. Upstairs in the room, it turned out the client was being quite literal about having a “wooden leg” - he had a knee down prosthetic. Provider was totally shocked. So when I made my comment, his mind went to that client, and his leg comment. To be clear, provider said his only issue was he would have thought the client have mentioned it, as it was a bit of a shock, and his reaction was more of “I can’t believe it’s happening again” - the no notice bit. I agree with the provider - that definitely deserves an “oh I should mention I have a prosthetic”.

I would tend to agree. I know for many hobbyists, a name change is the kiss of death, but for me, unless there’s some negative reviews/commentaries/experiences, why should I care “MrAlphaMan” is now “AlphaManXXL”? 🤷🏼‍♂️

The 54 reviews on RM represent a good cross section - not every single one is a 5 star review, in the mix of reviewers are a number of long-standing and prolific RM clients, and while I can’t say with certainty, some reviewers appear to be current/former forum members - or they at least share the same name.

Having said all this, more of a concern to me is the fact that there have been zero reviews since 2021.

If I were in WeHo, and interested in engaging this gent, (and trust me, if I was in WeHo, I’d be very interested - this gent is smoking hot IMO), if I had no joy here, I’d reach out to a couple of his RM reviewers, and/or see who else they reviewed, use a VPN to read the text, and google his RM name to see if anything shows up.

    Good luck!! 👍🏻
Come back, and let us know if you pulled the trigger, and if so, how it went.

This gent is not only a handsome guy, but he looks incredibly familiar to me. Not from RM either. I have a feeling I’ve met him socially - and more than once 🤷🏼‍♂️ This will frustrate me now lol
If anyone has any idea of his social media presence do hit me up with a DM.
Oddly enough, this is the second time in as many weeks I’ve come across a profile on RM of a gent I know in real life. In the first instance, I’m very good friends of many years with his partner - so his RM profile was a bit of a shock to say the least. Not knowing what’s known and unknown there, I of course am staying schtum.

Anyway, this whole “where/how do I know him?” Is going drive me spare! So anyone have any insight, do let me know.

“Glass closeted” - meaning the gent is known to be gay or like men, but it’s not discussed. Different from “closeted” where the gent is not known or often even suspected of being gay or liking men.

    Why is still a story??

Every employer I’ve worked for has had some sort of policy, (or if a contract was involved, a clause), about bringing disrepute on the company, blah, blah, blah. Boiled down to basically meaning don’t do anything stupid that would embarrass you, and the company. Erick not only did something stupid, but he named names of co-workers while he was doing something stupid. Imagine if it was a hetero man doing the same, but instead named names of female co-workers in the manner Erick did.

None of this is about sex shaming, and nothing Erick did or said was about being sex positive.

Gun to my head, if I was forced to find a “flaw”, the only relatively minor thing I can think of is, it looks like he trims/shaves his body hair - love to see it grown out. But honestly, this is the guy every head turns to look at, follow when he walks in or walks by - absolute husband material 👍🏻

I tip my hat to you, @Skip for having the pleasure of his company for a week in Russia! I think I may have needed wheelchair service at the airport flying back to the States if it were me! 😜
Here’s hoping he opts for some travels to the East coast 🤞🏻- or that I can figure a reason to head to Fort Wayne 🤔

    🙋🏼‍♂️

Freshman year, met one of the guys in the room next door in the dorm on move in day. Tall glass of Irish-American water - was getting some sort of money from basketball. Turned out we lived very near each other at home - he was just a few blocks south - but went to different schools, so didn’t know each other, but knew some people in common. Of course we both strategically dropped certain names of guys we “knew” to check the other’s reaction. Very sweet, fun, hot guy, but a stereotypical “dumb jock” type. Anyway, play ensued. Nothing serious - very much a FWB thing - it was just handy for us both being next door.

So he comes back from Thanksgiving, says he wants us to head to his house down the Shore on the weekend. Sign me up! While we had been playing with each other, (and others), on the regular, it was still in the dorm where walls are wafer thin, and you’re in a twin bed 😂
It was supposed to be just us, and my horny college boy mind was reeling at all the horny things I wanted to do. Unbeknownst to me, my buddy had other plans. Mind you, I knew he had a brother - but I had no idea it was a twin brother, let alone an identical twin brother! Yes, they pulled the whole “switcheroo” on me before the big reveal! I do remember thinking “that’s different, feels different” - little did I know! 🙈
That was one very hot, and very fun dirty weekend down the Shore! 😈

There is a minority of Christian Arabs, and they can be uncut but I agree, the overwhelming majority are cut. Interestingly, under languages he lists English and Spanish, not Arabic. Makes me wonder if he is a South American Arab. I’ve met/known several, and they were all uncut hotties like this gent.

BtmBearDad got a reaction from Bluefin in Whats with all the provider insulting on this site?
To build off what both @KensingtonHomo and @arnemgreeves stated, as a client some of the commentary on here is frustrating, and entirely unwarranted.

When a query is posted looking for info/feedback on Provider X, posts by members who have no first hand knowledge, and no intention of engaging the provider, just to make disparaging comments on their looks, how unattractive they are, how they’re not the member’s type, etc. offers no value. I’ve posted previously about how it baffles me that these members think their post is in any way contributing to the thread.
I know I have many, many times opened a thread about a provider, clicked their RM link, viewed the profile, and thought “oh not for me!”, and I moved on. I don’t see why anyone has the need in the same scenario to instead of moving on, come back, and leave insulting commentary about the provider’s looks, style, writing ability, etc..
It’s beyond childish, and while there is a significant number trapped in their own little “femme bad, masc good” version of reality, the insults can, and do, cover everything - tattoos, piercings, hair colour, body hair, penis size, body fat/musculature, clothes they wear, ad infinitum. I agree with KH - the commentary says much more about the member, and his own fears, insecurities, internal self homophobia, than they do about any provider.
There is, however, as noted a difference between these insulting comments (with NO first hand experience), and genuine criticism that comes from actual first hand experience. Whether that criticism is about provider looks (pics not the person or pics severely outdated or photoshopped), inability to preform (couldn’t get it up, not clean), rude personality, late or no show, cutting time short, asking for more than agreed fee OR skipping out with fee without providing services, etc., all of this is useful info to potential clients. That the client may be heated when making the post may result in a bit more of an editorialised critical post, but it’s still warranted. And I think it’s a two street - what’s fair game for a client to criticise, is fair game for a provider to as well.
Ignore the Bitter Betties on here, as many of us do - or view them for the bit of comic relief they supply knowing how sad, and empty their lives must be.
