  2. If you want to meet someone that is guaranteed to be real, you would go to Lagoa sauna. On the other hand, there is another website that lists numerous garotos (hustlers) for rent. Go to the below linked site and scroll through the advertisements of garotos. You have the option of going to the place of the provider or having the provider meet you in an hourly hotel near where you are staying. If you find a provider and you are compatible for a repeat, you could have the provider come to your hotel. Here is a link to the hustler site that you can click on for numerous ads of hustlers: https://search.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/br?lb=new&search=1&start_field=1&select-this=248&searchGeoId=138&offer_type=offer&end_field= https://www.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/campo-belo/kaike-bem-dotado--comedor-dominador--25cm--vip/307493133
  3. I visit Brazil often. I am thinking the ad is one of those called "too good to be true" There are many odd things in the ad that make the ad seem unrealistic. Valet parking in a luxurious building is unusual for meeting a garoto. Maybe the ad is placed by an agency that handles garotos. Be careful if you go through with the appointment. Another thing to consider is that the guy in the photo may not be the same person that appears for your appointment.
  4. The escort's rentmen advertisement speaks volumes. Many escort ads go into graphic details of what an escort is offering. Do you really think any judge in a court would think a client only bought "time" after seeing the related rentmen advertisement?
  5. You are a bright guy. You really do not believe what you posted (I hope). Realistically, who would pay a stranger (escort) to meet and only pay for time? That "time" excuse is used because the U.S. has absurd laws against prostitution. Countless escort advertisements show an erect penis which is an outright description of what an escort is offering and what a client will expect from the escort. Most ads go into detail telling what actions an escort will do. Look at any rentmen advertisement, for example. Reality is reality. Regardless of what one chooses to call it. Here is a copy of a typical rentment ad. After reading the ad, do you think that any sane court would believe the ad is for "time only" ? 10in HUNG Dom & Passionate Fully Vaccinated I’m a HANDSOME, SMART, POLITE and super FUN man. 6. Not always. I have had a couple of instances where the person who showed up was not the person in the advertisement photos. They were not even close. How they got several five star reviews on rentmen is a mystery to me. So, I disagree that the client owes the money if the lying fake "escort" shows up and expects a client to go forward with the meeting merely because they meet. The client has the right to leave after discovering the person is not as advertised.
  7. That is their choice assuming you are not a business account. If you are not in business for yourself you do not have to file a Form 1099 for escorts despite the amount being in excess of $600.00 during a calendar year. This is despite the payments being for services rendered (escorting). Clearly, the escort must include the income in his tax return. As I wrote previously, if you see the same escort a lot and pay the escort $17,000 during a calendar year, you must file a gift tax return if you insist that the payments were gifts rather than payment for services rendered. I cannot imagine any IRS agent believing such payments were gifts considering the circumstances. The person filing the Form 709 gift tax return could be charged with a crime for aiding and abetting tax evasion by helping the escort misclassify taxable income. Do not do it. Nonetheless, if an escort receives funds from you and other clients, the escort must file a tax return to report the income earned from escorting. The escort must pay income tax and self-employment tax on the escort income. If the client and escort want to play the unlawful game of calling the income a gift, and if the payments equal $17,000 or more in a year, the person paying the $17M must file a gift tax return even though the payments are not gifts regardless of what each party chooses to call the transfer of money. I recommend against calling escort payments, gifts. EDIT: A few posts ahead of this post, forum member @public_assistance posted that the IRS is hiring 87,000 new revenue agents. That should scare a lot of clients and providers away from playing games in not reporting income or misclassifying income and/or not filing proper tax returns. Easy times with the government are coming to an end. pubic_assistance Posted October 2 The IRS is hiring 87,000 new agents and arming them with a million dollars worth of guns and fresh ammo. The basic message is: pay your income tax. Anyone who receives regular amounts of money on a pay app is not getting "gifts" from his admirers. Electronic surveillance and meta-data collection is now very proficient. They WILL find you eventually. These boys need to pay something or risk eventual fines. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ NOTE; THE REPORTS OF 87,000 NEW REVENUE AGENTS HAS BEEN DEBATED BACK AND FORTH AS TRUE THEN BACK TO FALSE. IN ANY EVENT, THERE IS A LOT OF HIRING BEING DONE AT IRS, THE NUMBER OF AGENTS REMAINS IN CONFUSION: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
  8. Please educate me; if you are sending money to a provider, is the payment not for "goods or services"? To make the matter even more complicated, if the provider is someone you see a lot and pay throughout the year cumulatively $17,000 - you will also have to file a federal gift tax return if you do not label the money for services.
  9. Yes - Here is some medical language explaining the unfortunate outcome with age and weight. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3662345/
  10. No reviews, but how long has he been advertising on rentmen? At the rate he quoted you, I am not surprised he has no reviews if his ad has been running a while. Some of the providers talk with their friends and erroneously think that they can charge anything they want and they will make money. They might get lucky sometimes but $500-1K rate" is not going to work with most clients.
  11. Many come to the U.S. using a student visa. Unfortunately, their skills in English cause them to flunk out of school. They "accidently" forgot that their visa expired after flunking out of school. Then they decide life in the U.S. is a lot better than life in Brazil. Hence, they do not leave until they get caught or get homesick and return to Brazil. New York has an incredibly high amount of Brazilian providers who "forgot" that their visa expired because they are no longer in school. Near Santa Barbara, California there is a huge colony of Brazilians that were formerly enrolled in the University of California at Santa Barbara. Apparently they also forgot to read the reasons for their student visa to become invalid. Of course, some come in as lawful tourists but it is difficult for Brazilians to get regular tourist visas due to lack of work in Brazil. Most that try to enter for regular tourism are rejected by U. S. immigration using the excuse always used "no compelling reason to return to their country of residence." During some of my many trips to Brazil, I saw a couple of Brazilians who showed me their passport with that rejection note stamped clearly in the passport book. I know some Brazilians who have been in the U. S. for several years. They cause no trouble. Many make good money as providers. Many advertise on rentmen.eu
  12. I looked at the escort's ad. He is only 20 years old. I think his young age might be why he did not understand what you meant when you said "rain check" Raising rates is happening a lot with many escorts. What would I do? I would write a short note to him explaining that when you wrote rain check, you meant that you did not want to go through with the meeting. I would also tell him why, quite simply, he raised his rates and you decided not to hire him because of the rate increase.
  13. In connection with Global Entry - interview on arrival, I want to remind those involved with Global Entry that getting a pre-scheduled interview is very difficult and time consuming in most cases. Sometimes an interview space is not available for several months. Many folks from this forum visit Canada on the weekends or longer. If anyone is waiting too long for a Global Entry interview, and they plan a trip to Canada, there is Interview on Arrival in Montreal as well as other Canadian cities. The below link will explain the process and tells the hours when an interview on arrival can take place: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-arrival Happy travels
  14. Your post merely joins the previous nonsense already presented by "@LookingAround" copied and quoted immediately below: "@Coriolis888 that same woman speaking to her husband would have a few choice words to say to her husband about your activities, I imagine, if she only knew. Try and be a little more open minded, I invite you." _____________________________________ If you go back to my original post, I merely reported on a conversation I witnessed at a car rental agency concerning a male worker there that was wearing fingernail polish on his nails. Your buddy went off track from the thread subject and posted his above inappropriate quoted nonsense. For reasons well known to you, you decided to continue with his inappropriate behavior and go further off topic with this thread. Grow up and stay on the subject of this thread. This thread is about "fingernails polished" but with your comment and the prior comment from your forum buddy, the two posts are off topic. In other words, stick to the thread subject matter rather than expand on a nonsensical hypothesis.
  15. I think you read my post too fast because you seem to have missed the point. It was the woman who was waiting with her husband where I was also waiting for a rental car who commented about the guy's fingernails. I said nothing to either of them. Therefore, you might want to "try to be a little more open minded, I invite you." (to quote you). Please remember this is a forum/site for exchanging ideas. It is not a site to try to start an argument as your post so clearly shows. There are many things I read that I do not like but I do not respond with insults to the author.
  16. Sorry to disagree. The other day I rented a car and the guy waiting on me was exceptionally handsome and masculine. But - - - he had nail polish on his finger nails. I know some people find nothing wrong with that. However, when a guy works with the public and has nail polish on his fingers, it tells me he wants to be different and also tells me has not much to do with his time. After I was finished with the rental paperwork, I waited outside for the car to be brought to the pick up area. A couple not known to me was also waiting for a car to be brought up for them. The wife of the couple said to her husband, "Honey, did you see that man's finger nail polish? How silly he looks." I could not help but laugh at her comment. So, I guess fingernail polish is not accepted by all.

"Anything goes" Bareback and drugs just to name a couple of things that could be a problem
  18. Based on his strange message, he has quite a high opinion of himself. As Oscar said, "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"

And, his ad says "anything goes" which could be a problem.
  20. His one review has a little stronger wording than "not accurate" - His one review says "Should have know pics were fake. No reviews. Scammer. " Another example of buyer beware!
  21. We are not "all mixed up" about the advertiser. If you go to my post above (five posts above), you will see that I clearly mentioned the extra "o" in his ad. Seemingly, by slightly modifying the screen name of a popular and excellent provider (by adding an "o" to the screen name) it appears that this advertiser is attempting to capitalize on the reputation of a very fine and excellent four-year provider well known to this forum.
  22. A true recession and later depression will certainly change the rates of escorts. Why? Countless people will be without jobs. Without jobs, they will not be able to pay their expenses. Money for an escort will be little more than a wishful dream. Again, look into what a true depression is. The frequent semi-recessions the world has experienced over the past couple of years is predicted, by numerous respected economists, to become a major recession and then followed by a true depression. If or when a depression happens, the last thing on the mind of clients will be to look for an escort to spend money that is not there. Read your history books on the depression that no one thought was coming, but it did.
  23. You are usually "right on" the mark when it comes to responding to posts. However, in this case you are misjudging Brazil. Maybe because you have not spent much time there, if any. In the U.S., many providers use a website called rentmen.eu. The site is based in Europe and includes advertisements from providers based all over the world, including Brazil. Although Brazil is technically called a third world country, it has a great economy and is greatly involved in world exports, including coffee and food supplies. There are many places in Brazil where providers meet clients. The saunas are only one small segment of where clients can meet providers. There are movie houses, massage centers, parks, streets and many websites that allow Brazilian escorts to advertise their services to the public. Below is merely one site that graphically shows countless escorts advertising their services. Considering I visit Brazil often, I know for a fact that providers over the past two years are not making the fees they made prior to the coronavirus pandemic hitting Brazil and the down flux of their economy. Below is merely one site that advertises providers. On the site, most providers post their rates. Visit the site and see how low the rates are. Of course, you have no comparison to what the prices were prior to the pandemic hitting the world, but the rates were higher, that I know from experience. https://www.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/jardim-paulista/marcelo-1-86-alt-86kg-25cm-bem-grosso/305119188 And, in keeping with the title of the thread, even providers from Brazil experience a lot of "no shows" and cancellations of scheduled appointments made with clients from the web sites and other sources. Cancellations just go with the territory. It is with most businesses. People change their minds or things come up and appointments are not kept.
  24. The financial downturn recently and currently being experienced in the U.S. and most parts of the world is not a recession or depression. If you have time with nothing better to do, check out some of the books referenced in the below link. The last real recession quickly turned into a depression and most of the world went through financial and other hell. https://explorethearchive.com/books-about-the-great-depression Escorting and most other occupations could very well be drastically affected later next year. Escorts missing an appointment because a client did not show will be nothing compared to what is predicted (financial disaster) by well known respected economists.
