  1. Anyone interested should use a VPN to read the narratives on his rentmen reviews. He has some good reviews but, according to one of the reviews, his obsession with his telephone during a meeting is quite a bit over the top.
  2. Your paid speaking engagements are not illegal. You can draw up a contract and legally enforce payment. A provider (escort) is running against the wind in that what he is doing is illegal for him and for his client. Unenforceable contracts = no contract = no analogy. Sorry to punch a hole in your balloon thus deflating your side of defending the alleged mistreatment of providers.
  3. Statistics, statistics and more statistics. Unusual things happen. It is part of a small statistic of tourists getting robbed in Brazil. On the other hand, how many tourists visit Brazil without any robberies or issues. Like I said, it was just the "luck of the draw" for you.
  4. Six hour plane ride to get robbed in New York City, from Los Angeles. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
  5. The "luck of the draw" was not on your side that day. It must have been a hell of a frightening thing with that incident. Currently, in large Brazilian cities there are many police walking around on foot that prevents that sort of robbery. Police in Brazil think nothing of shooting at someone they think is robbing or hurting tourists. Tourist money means a lot to Brazil.
  6. I am sorry to read that you had your bad experience with a gun in Brazil. I travel often to Europe and to Brazil. The only time I ever had a gun pulled on me was not in Europe or Brazil. It was in Manhattan, New York. In short, terrible things can happen anywhere. If your number comes up, it comes up. Regardless of where you are at any given time. Luck is a strange thing.
  7. I have been to Brazil more than one hundred times. Never robbed. Had great times. I will be returning at the end of this month. You should not let one bad experience spoil potentially great times you could have while visiting Brazil.
  8. Of course not. Six posts up line, someone made a ridiculous statement claiming that the gays in Brazil are living in fear because of the former president of Brazil and his dislike for gays. Several posts were made to put the erroneous post to an end. Brazil is fun and a good place. In fact, I return again to Brazil at the end of this month.
  9. I first knew him from Brazil, years ago. He now lives in Hollywood, California and travels to New York fairly often. He has lived in the U. S. for quite a while (several years). Even if he still charges his rate of $400, if you do not meet him at his place, he will expect you to send an Uber for him and return. One of the best providers you will find.
  10. The act of asking for deposits and/or money on arrival is not a scene set for a pleasant encounter. Showing the provider that you have the money set aside for him should be more than enough for the provider to continue on with the scheduled appointment without the provider taking the money in advance. It is when agreements change on arrival and the provider insists on being paid before rendering any service is when the pleasant mood of a client changes to something negative, far less than was expected from the provider. As to providers supposedly not being paid by clients after a date is scheduled is highly suspect. That might happen on a rare occasion but likely, if it did happen, the provider is omitting something that he did that caused the client to leave the encounter without paying. I know of one client who answered an ad and went to the apartment of the provider. When the client got to the provider, the person answering the door was not the person shown in the photos in the rentmen ad. The client left without any physical contact with the provider and did not pay anything. The client later wrote a negative review on rentmen about the bogus provider. The provider responded by ignoring the fact that his ad included fake photos. All the provider said was that the client was a crook and did not pay for his services. Why should a client pay if he immediately leaves after seeing that the person answering the door is not the person in the advertisement?
  11. Like so many other providers that insist on deposits or payments in advance.
  12. If you start the meeting with the provider on a negative note (refusing to pay in advance) who knows what kind of lousy experience you can expect from the provider. There are too many reports of deposits and advance payments going wrong.
  13. Try to explain that to providers who insist on advance payments.
  14. Not true! I do not care for Bolsonaro but let us not make up untrue stories to make him worse than he already is. Again, if the gays were so frightened as you claim, how is it there are thousands of gays participating, openly, in the Carnaval next month in many major cities in Brazil? How can it be that there are hundreds of gay saunas in light of the supposed fright you claim exists. Again, check out this ad for the gay Carnaval: https://www.riocarnaval.org/gay-carnival/gay-carnival#:~:text=The Gay Carnival%3A An Event in Itself&text=And there's no grander festival,%2C transgender and bi-sexuals.
  15. Although the handling of the virus pandemic by Bolsonaro was not good, do you think that Trump did a better job? Most leaders of most countries around the world did a poor job of handling the virus. No one could foresee the horror the virus would bring to the world. I have visited Brazil over the past two decades more than one hundred times. I spend a lot of time in Brazil. I have many Brazilian friends and I speak their language. Please let me assure you that gays are not, as you wrote, living in "constant fear" in the gay scene. Many are in fear because they cannot find a job or because they have no money to pay for housing or food and other necessities. Despite their financial problems, they are still going forward, next month with a huge festival called Carnaval. https://www.riocarnaval.org/gay-carnival/gay-carnival#:~:text=The Gay Carnival%3A An Event in Itself&text=And there's no grander festival,%2C transgender and bi-sexuals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Carnival So, when you say that you "disagree completely" with what I wrote, I have to say that you likely have not been to Brazil to witness what I personally saw and continue to witness.
  16. You mentioned Hunqz and Europe. I have hired from Hunqz many times at reasonable rates as you showed. In regard to other places in Europe for providers: In Barcelona, a provider charges fifty euros in one of the best saunas in Europe (Sauna Thermas). In Zurich, (at sauna Paragonya), a provider charges one hundred Swiss francs or one hundred euros, which ever currency the client has. In Brazil the rates are too low to mention. It is only in America that the rates have gone off the track. As you wrote, a higher fee will allow the provider to spend less time in meeting more clients. The key is the provider getting enough clients to pay those high rates. As a fallout to the excessive pricing, many clients either take trips to foreign countries or very seldom hire. Even though many of us can afford a high fee, logic tells us that we are stupid to pay those higher rates considering that many times the experience is less than was expected or promised.
  17. Sorry, my post was so long that you missed the thrust of my message. I tried to explain the major decline in the city based on the covid effects from the virus. The gay scene in Sao Paulo continues but with major changes effected by the virus that hit the world. Non gay venues are also effected. Long-time stores have gone out of business. Jobs are scarce. These declines relate to the quarantines and the virus effect on the population. Although I do not care for Bolsonaro, his dislike of gays had nothing to do with the major decline of the places I mentioned in my long post.
  18. Ridiculous - regardless of whether you can afford the asking price, the price is absurd, assuming he expects that fee per hour. Most lawyers and other professionals do not charge a rate like that. Reality is slipping away from escorting, big time.
  19. Not only what you wrote, they are asking $350 for a massage! Coo coo -
  20. NYC rentmen link is gone. Anyone know in which city he now operates?
  21. Time means nothing to many Brazilian escorts. I visit there often and rarely is an escort on time or even within one hour of our scheduled meeting time. Meeting in the saunas avoids waiting for late providers.
