It does not work that way. The sugar daddy does not perform if the provider does not provide.

No link to provider? -
He has had his rentmen account for one year and four months. Yet, not one review during those sixteen months. Quite unusual to say the least. Does he get enjoyment from making appointments with potential clients then purposely not keeping the appointment?
-
If you are the big guy in town (rentmen overshadows all other similar type advertising platforms) you set the rules such as asking for I D and other nonsense items. If you are creative, you can figure out how to get around this silly new "requirement"
-
I hope you do not get ripped off by a provider despite your incorrectly thinking that my post was too negative.
-
You do not like the truth, do you? Over the years, how could you have missed the countless posts made by members of this forum and clients who hired escorts who ripped them off? Your selective reading might cause you to hire one of those negative providers one of these days if you continue to ignore or say that actual reports from countless providers are too negative. Be careful!

You must skip over a lot of posts made to this forum by clients complaining about providers. It appears that you also do not have access to a VPN where you could read the narratives clients post on rentmen about many clients scamming them. "very few escorts" - Please let me know when to stop laughing.

I think what's most telling/revealing in this thread is that posters neglected to state the main reasons they believe the rates for providers are too high: When all factors related to escorting are considered, those stating that the rates are too high, often have a legitimate reason for protesting higher rates. A good portion of providers are arrogant and often negatively refer to clients as time wasters even if the client has only two or three text questions. Another issue is that many providers insist on payment in advance on arrival or via an advance deposit. This is awkward for many clients. Many providers make appointments with clients (even when they get a deposit) then do not show up for the appointment. Many providers' advertisements have false photos depicting a totally different person in their bogus advertisement. Or, the provider uses photos that are photoshopped or are many years old. Often, providers contract for one or two hours. The provider wants to be paid up front but many providers stay only fifteen minutes or so yet keep the full amount taken at arrival or via deposit. I could make a larger list of negative things providers do but I made my point in showing that although the provider expects a higher rate ($400 - $500 or more), the services of many providers do not warrant the higher rate demanded by providers and many do not deserve even a smaller rate considering the terrible treatment of some clients. If providers are going to be successful in raising their rates and still maintain the shabby behavior they have well demonstrated, major changes are needed from most providers if higher rates are expected.

Edited above for reality

I should have written, "church-lady TYPES" Not correct about Harris instrumental about locking up owners of BackPage. Back to the subject of escort fees being unreasonable
-
Truer words could not be written. An increase in price does not increase the quality of the service provided.
-
How wrong can one be! Just because a provider raises his rate to $400 or $500 (or more) does not mean that the provider suddenly knows how to change his inconsiderate and greedy way of dealing with clients. A price increase does not make a product more valuable. You were lucky if you found an over-priced provider change his inconsiderate behavior to refrain from name calling clients ("time waister" clients), no shows, late arrivals, early departure. Lucky for you.

Craigslist and rentboy closures were a scam by misguided church ladies

They do? Most?

There are many things that I view as being over priced, but that does not mean that there is not a SMALL market for those items.

I don't mean to be argumentative, however, the above post does not reflect reality. The poster reminds us that we are in a big recession then goes off to offer an unrealistic alternative of going to a sex club and/or using free hook-up apps. He further says that the provider sets his rate and that clients must accept those rates. Again, not realistic. If a provider asks for too much money, most clients skip over and find a different provider. If too many providers ask too high a rate, and continuously gets turned down for the high rates, provider rates will come down. It goes both ways. The recession hits the client and also hits the provider. It is just a matter of time before providers realize that their rates are out of line with reality.
-
Greed or lack of good judgement! His new $800 rate will chase off a good portion of clients he would have met had his rate not doubled as it did.

"$400 is TOO MUCH" It depends. If the escort keeps his word and performs as agreed, the price is okay. However, too many providers spend time on their telephone while with a client. Many providers cannot get hard because they just finished with a previous client prior to meeting the current client. That situation is a disservice to the client. Many providers use stolen photos or use old photos that do not show the way the provider looks currently. In that case, I think the provider is charging too much. Many providers short the time they agreed with a client. One hour is sixty minutes, not twenty or thirty minutes. However, time shortages happen often without an adjustment of the fee. Many clients insist on being paid upon arrival. When that happens, the provider has very little incentive to keep the agreement with the client. The provider has his money and the client is at the will of the provider whether the contracted services with be met as agreed. So, is $400 too much? It depends on the above and other facts and circumstances not covered above.

Very nice, indeed except for the bleached hair in a couple of the photos

They may not be the only reason rates have increased but the OF phenomenon has certainly had an influence on the increase in rentmen fees. Times have changed. An OF member can do very little work (one of two films a month - or less) and earn a percentage of monthly fees paid into their account at the OF system.
-
It is possible I underestimated my friends time spent putting up his OF material. However his take from OF is in excess of $100,000 annually. All he does is make a couple of movies each month and sometimes does not make two movies each month. The bulk of his money from AF comes from his portion of the monthly subscription fees that is shared with him. If you compare making a couple of films (or less) each month compared to having to place an ad on rentmen and maybe get clients and maybe not get clients. Plus lots of wasted time he spent while relying on rentmen for his income. No comparison. OF is easier and less work than escorting from rentmen. No question, OF took a big bite into escorting from rentmen.
-
Regardless of the OF percentage being shared, the OF member gets a fair amount of money for a lot less work and time than escorting. Escorting is clearly more time consuming and more work than OF gigs. I have met an OF member who makes in excess of $100,00 annually just for making movies and putting them on OF. That amount does not compare to earnings from escorting. Of course, not all OF members make that kind of money, but many do.
-
In the meantime, the OF owner is raking in $9.99 monthly for little to no effort. Considering the unknown number of clients that pay $9.99 each month for almost nothing is quite a nice income to the OF creator.
