  1. In my opinion, cruise industry bailouts should be near the bottom of the priority list.... at least airlines pay income taxes, employ US citizen, pay tax on fuel, etc.
  2. A huge mess. Some crew can’t be repatriated to their countries of origin. Miami is reluctant to use hospital beds for US passengers who are not Florida residents. And the cruise industry has come to a full stop... and excluded from federal aid, in part because they have avoided US income taxes for so many years by incorporating elsewhere and hiring few US citizens. And their environmental record doesn’t endear them to many.
  3. I won’t take New York in general and Central Park in particular for granted any more.

  5. Some had the foresight to become billionaires and buy yachts. I hope he runs out of toilet paper.
  6. "These behaviors are going to continue to change and evolve as people get accustomed to this new lifestyle, if you will."
  7. What is everyone’s criterion to resume hiring in your home city?
  8. Who gives the “all clear”? What is the event/announcement/statistic that has to me met for everyone to feel comfortable again ? Does it vary by city - for example, when the NYC lockdown is lifted ?
  9. He did an interview on CNN Thursday and I was super-impressed with his depth of knowledge about virology and the nature of controlling pandemics. He didn't politicize anything and gently pushed back on attempts to draw him into doing so. I vote for Bill to replace Mike P.
  10. I read about a “thing” springing up in some neighborhoods - a Bear Hunt. Neighbors participating will place a stuffed bear somewhere visible from the sidewalk - in a tree, a window, etc, and parents with little kids can walk them around to hunt bear and report success on Facebook. Pretty cool
  11. Two favorites who are pro’s https://rentmen.eu/SebastianPerez https://rentmen.eu/AlexStandall
  12. Give There’s something about being able to make someone squirm and control & edge them that’s exciting.
  13. Just started on season 4 of The Man In The High Castle on Prime.
  14. Holy cow - he's 42! I had no idea he was that old until I read you remarks. Damnnnnn he looks good.
  15. I know what PnP is but what is a “plug”. I’ve seen this on Reddit subs on chemsex. Someone who supplies party favors ?
  16. I noticed him pop up for ATL and did a little due diligence (reverse pic scan, etc) and didn’t turn up anything negative. I didn’t really pursue it because he listed as top only. First reviewer (in Miami) shows only a single review... perhaps he chose to hide this one. Second reviewer (in DC) has lots of reviews including some well-known guys Third reviewer (in Nashville) also has lots of reviews including a couple of guys I know of; also gave this escort 5 star and several others less than 5. He noted that pics are current. Bottom line: I suspect the reviews are legit but if i were going to hire I’d email them. (Also, his profile says “If you like younger”.... not that he likes younger.)
  17. This is probably a stupid question but how difficult is it to extract the DNA map of an infected person to compare it to that which is infecting others ?
  18. I’ve never met Allen but have exchanged notes and he’s always been polite. Plans change and last minute interruptions occur and I try really hard to not change an appointment time. Texting is a really lousy communication medium compared to a phone call and I try to avoid texting last minute changes rather than calling. Hard feelings seem to arise much more often from text exchanges rather than a voice call.
  19. I am crazy bored. Yesterday I made of game of following twitter links to the most sexually perverse and twisted places I could find. There are a bunch of sick fucks out there. Yellow pine pollen has turned my skull into a solid block of concrete and all masturbation has ground to a halt. I am out of Milanos. Other than that all is well.
  20. Isn’t this all just another risk/benefit equation that every individual has to decide for themselves ? Every time I get into the car to drive somewhere I know there is a risk that I could be hurt - thru a mistake of my own or one made by someone else. I asses the risk and reward and make a decision. If I were 80 years old with impaired eyesight and reflexes and choose to drive a car then I am imposing a risk on others. That’s what defensive driving is all about. Pre-COVID hiring carried a set of risks of various types with many unknown variables. Post-COVID hiring likewise caries a set of risks. Everyone has to decide for themselves what their risk tolerance level is and also the downstream impacts of their decision. Practice defensive hiring. (Or, more accurately, understand your risks and hire or not accordingly.)
  21. Perhaps reframe the question.... suppose I hire a personal chef to come to my home once a week and prepare meals. It may or may not be wise for me to stop hiring him and he to stop coming to my house - but should his web site be shut down by the State ?
