I’m not sure if the intent of the question was a clinical comparison or more general. I can’t speak to the clinical similarity but I remember the days of fear, confusion and desperate frustration at an indifferent Reagan administration. My very first ever boy crush died of AIDS. It seems like a long, long time ago.

Life is really a bitch and sooner or later almost everybody learns that. What I find sad are the older - 40‘ish - people who don’t understand that and are generally angry at the world for being unfair to them. I know two 50-somethings who never learned how to take care of themselves and now it’s too late. They are a perpetual train wreck financially and emotionally. Not to go off on a tangent but I’ve met a handful of young (25’ish) transgender people via SA and they have their lives totally together and are doing very well. Just a guess but I think that life really beat the crap out of them when they were young and they developed that resiliency that we all need. I really admire a few of them.

I‘d guess that the strategy was to attempt to more tightly couple escorts with clients on their platform (where there’s more eyeballs on advertisements more frequently). Theoretically they are expanding the scope from a simple static advertisement presentation service... which is pretty much a commodity service (Friendboy, Mintboys, etc)... to a resident app that is more interactive and financially “sticky”. The problem is that with the left hand they are encouraging back and forth messaging a’la Instagram and with their right hand they are censoring what can be said (due to legal requirements but handled pretty sloppily.). So you’re left with messy, sticky hands.

About a year ago I met a kid on SA who thought be was going to get rich bitcoin mining. He bragged that he and his roommates were able to heat their apartment in the winter based solely on the heat generated by their hardware. (Their utilities were included in their rent.) I’m also curious about the inverse: guys who advertise as a top/versatile. I filter RM to exclude tops and top/vers and I’ve always wondered about guys’ intentions for this.

About 60 minutes assuming it is completely in the opposite direction of where I’m otherwise going and it’s totally a round trip. Less if I’m pressed for time. The caveat is that Atlanta, and many other cities, traffic is notoriously unpredictable and 45 minutes could turn into 90 very quickly.
