Frankly, lottery tickets are more predictable but it's fun to watch your balance bounce around like a ping pong ball in a paint can shaker. I think the real value is in learning about risk and putting your tolerance for it into perspective. There was a big dust-up this weekend and it's really fun to watch. (Side note: this kid on Seekingarrangement tried to get me to invest in a cryptomining scheme he had. The title of this thread is misleading.

The whole radio-silence flake thing is kind of annoying. EDIT - Brief synopsis: Emailed Kade on RM Nov 6 & suggested a 2-hr mtg the following day at a certain time in the early afternoon. Email hasn't been opened as of 11/13. Texted Kade Nov 11 suggesting meeting 11/13. He responded that my date & time was OK; his incall location was given as a broad section of town. Texted him 11/13 early in AM to confirm and get location; no response. Sent a couple of other texts thru the day. I've not heard anything from him as of this posting. EDIT: received text at 9pm - “I’m sorry “ EDIT EDIT: Feb 2 - received an unsolicited RM email from him opening his private gallery. Almost 3 months later. Mystifying. I may be too fussy but I really have a difficult time dealing with poor communications. This may be setting the professionalism-bar too high, but if I accepted a proposal from one of my clients and then went dark I'd lose my reputation very quickly. Besides, I think it's simply discourteous. And what if he'd required a deposit? Where would I be?
