+1 I've had more minor problems caused by misinterpretation of the tone of a text message comprised of a handful of letters than anything else in hiring. I think that text messages are best reserved for confirming facts - not feelings. I find myself reading meaning into text messages based on my preconceived perception that has no basis in anything factual. If I feel butthurt about a text message I have to pause, step back and look at the letters on the screen to remove any emotions I added to their context.

I’ve noticed a pretty big increase in inquiries since the first of the year. I’m getting around a dozen notes a day from US guys I’ve not heard from previously. (And I’m knocking it out of the park in the Philippines and Croatia.).

There was a guy i saw regularly when I was in Houston and part of our routine was showering off then sitting in the big garden tub in my hotel room in a warm bath with the lights out and candles. Getting all soapy, slippery with unhurried kisses and roaming hands and fingers is the best.

They really all do look the same, don’t they.

Everyone has a different perspective on this though I can identify with most of the others' above to some extent. Someone told me a long time ago that "You're not responsible for anyone's happiness other than your own." and that's withheld the test of time. If you expend your energy trying to conform to something someone else desires then you can never be happy with yourself... it's a losing proposition. That includes life-partners. A real partner will accept and love what @GregM calls your 'perfectly flawed' self as should each of us. I keep an open mind to the observations and advice of trusted friends and colleagues... living without introspection is foolish... but I consider their words carefully rather than accepting them without scrutiny. An observant confidant can tell you things about yourself that you never would discover on your own. But when it comes to value judgements I rarely take much stock in them.

All of my favorite companions around the country who's company I've already enjoyed but only see once or twice a year... and a handful of gentlemen I've not had the pleasure to meet but haven't due to proximity.

I try to be very careful about this when I know I’m going to bottom (and being clean in general) but it doesn’t seem foolproof (I’ve watched all the videos). Not long ago I was with a really great guy and something unfortunate happened. He was cool about it but I was mortified. I’ve been too embarrassed to call him again.

Some of the stories are frighteningly prescient but others, like San Junipero, are wonderful... a gay love story that sings of love and joy.

This has happened to me as well. A few months ago, after sharing an experience via PM with 4 members here, I received a text from a New York escort with whom I’d had a pretty unpleasant experience: “People are telling me about things you are saying about me.” Only one of these members had any prior awareness and possible future hires. Noted.

I think these companies accept it for different reasons... some to demonstrate they are innovative (e.g., Tesla & Microsoft), some to cast as broad a net as possible (e.g., Save The Children, Overstock), some who have a geographically-disperse customer base (like a tea company who sells in many different countries... though they have a much bigger problem with currency volatility), some for privacy (all the dating/porn sites) and some because it seems cool. The most obvious use case to me are under-served/under-banked but capital-enabled niches with heavy cash flow - like cannabis wholesalers & retailers. There's a handful of companies out there who fall into this payments space where cannabis & cryptocurrencies intersect and are worth taking a look at for longer-term growth opportunities. For what it's worth.

Personally I don't think there's true value beneath these currencies but that doesn't negate the fact that it's a chance to outguess the next guy and make some money.
