Shohei is scheduled to pitch tonight (7EDT) and also bat. He leads the league in home runs with 28 and hit three against the Yanks in the first 2 games. I know I will be watching!!

When I lived in San Francisco, we would get about 5 days a year of temps in the 105 range. Without A/C, we endured it, knowing it would not last and that the next day might actually be cold and foggy!

It seems like everyone has a baseball cap and many have jerseys and t-shirts from their favorite teams. I have numerous NY Yankee paraphernalia, and usually can be seen wearing at least a cap. But I can't wear the several items I recently bought from Fanatics.com. They are a popular outlet for all kinds of sporting gear. But the items they sent me did not fit or were otherwise unsuitable. I decided to return one shirt and have another replaced. The refund came through but the new shirt never arrived. I cannot track it down since Fanatics sent it by FedEx Smart Delivery. Only the seller can protest delivery problems on those orders. And Fanatics makes it extremely difficult to contact them. First my password didn't work. Then they put me through so many hoops to prove i was not a robot that I gave up. It was one screen after another of items pictured. I must have seen ten of them before I gave up. They had sent me a survey to measure my customer satisfaction. I gave them a zero. They asked if I wanted them to contact me and I said yes. That was two months ago. I am still waiting.

That's been my experience as well, but in recent times some guys have pretty confidently stated Bi even years after coming out. So there are Biguys. Or should I say Bidudes?

And yesterday I read John Burdett's The Last Six Million Seconds (1997), about intrigue and corruption as Britain gets ready to hand over Hong Kong to China. This novel I highly recommend.

I wonder what constitutes having a "Happy Pride." For me, it is my acceptance of who I am as a gay man. So it isn't just a day or a month. But it sure was great when I finally stopped fighting my orientation.

I've met Eric Rhodes, nonsexually. I saw Jeff Stryker in that show he did in West Hollywood. Shook his hand after the show. I met and was propositioned by a stoned Joey Stefano at the Gaiety, I flew on a plane with Johann Paulik and Lukas Ridgeston. I had my picture taken with Lukas Ridgeston on another occasion. It kind of goes on with small encounters at various strip clubs. Did you notice that none of these encounters involved me having sex with these guys? Geez.

Maybe air-conditioned baseballs will solve the sticky problem1
