  1. There aren't any rules. You have to determine when trying to get a response is no longer worth the time and aggravation.
  2. Of course - you had to bail. Otherwise, you wouldn't be being true to yourself.
  3. There seem to be precious few providers that are Asian. I chat with Asian guys a lot on A4A, but they are mostly situated here in California and they aren't providers. Asian guys seem to go for daddies. Im really into Asian muscleboys
  4. I started doing this the summer I graduated from high school. I went to Montreal for a few days and stayed at the Mont Royal Hotel. That was back when upscale hotels often had mens bars that didn't allow women. I started hanging out in the mens bar and guys starting hitting on me. It was sort of a "Who knew?" moment.
  5. It is taking a risk - one that I have never taken., so I'm speaking theoretically. But a very high level of mistrust would seem to contaminate the relationship in a way that couldn't be good. I I know that not every body can fully be trusted, but I have always approached hiring with the attitude that I was dealing with guys about like myself - mostly honest, mostly reliable and trustworthy and just about all of them have turned out that way.
  6. I used to cruise hotel bars looking for DL and bi guys. I wasn't charging tho.
  7. what a guy!!!
  8. I'm definitely NOT addicted to my phone. People think I'm igngoring them if I don't respond to a text for half a day.
  9. Yup. How is it any different with providers?
  10. Some people like to say "working with" instead of "working for" to emphasize that it is an interaction between equals. And it is. The provider has complete freedom to define the services he/she will provide, when they will provide them, how much they will charge. And they have complete freedom not to negotiate any of these terms with you if they don't want to. Of course, they risk losing a propect, but they know that. OTOH, you have complete freedom not to hire somebody who will not accomodate you. People tell me "no" all the time when I tell them what I charge. And I know in advance that many of them will tell me "no." Most service professionals have fee schedules and calendars and define the terms on which they will provide service. Why are escorts any different?
  11. I try twice. But that's just me. To me, if I have tried twice and not gotten a response, it has already gone off the rails, for whatever reason, and best to give up on it. There are lots of great-looking men out there waiting to hear from you.
  12. Providers don't have much patience with guys who they decide are time wasters.
  13. Scary things afoot at First Republic. I tried to pay a massage provider from a Paypal account linked to my checking account. The are delaying disbursement until 3/31. I guess I need to pull my money.
  14. That's sex clubs - good nights and off nights and impossible to predict. Sometimes I would leave Blowbuddies feeling like the most desirable man in the world and other times I could cruise around for hours thinking "what am I, chopped liver?" I learned to recognize an off night and just leave.
  15. What drastic disruptions? You put a mask on and you do life. The "drastic disruptions" are imagined by people who don't want to wear masks.
  16. But of course, it does offend him. That's why he goes off on people who disagree with him. Maybe Unicorn needs a vacation from the forum to regain his perspective.
  17. I thought that was your schtick. No one has ever accused me of being condescending. It is said of you on a regular basis.
  18. What sort of people are found in healthcare facilities? Sick people, old people, small children - people who can't afford to catch COVID. People are still dying from COVID - mostly preventable deaths.
  19. Ha Ha!! You're funny. Transmissability has a lot to do with how much you would protect yourself from a virus. Of course HIV is much more virulent than the newer strains of COVID, so transmissability doesn't tell the whole story.
  20. Is that much of a concern??
  21. COVID is a respiratory virus and HIV is sexually-tranmitted/bloodborne. I'm not a virologist, but I would guess the transmission risk is much higher with COVID.
  22. Steve Reeves in the Hercules movies
  23. Don Blueyes would open the door and pull me in, give me a big kiss, inspect me at arm's length and tell me how great I looked.
  24. For a while, I liked those racy, low-cut boxers with streamers and side vents. I also had a few pairs of silk boxers that I loved. For the last few years, I have been wearing sport trunks or going commando. I sampled a pair of Bombas trunks - a disappointment because they were more like boxer briefs.
  25. I'm glad to know that. My father's family are Volga German, so I guess that makes me kinky.
