I don't know an escort who I would want to make a bequest to, but in the abstract, I don't see why I wouldn't

I used to experience it as an adolescent after beating off-a few minutes of sadness and mild self loathing. It never occurred to me that it was something that needed to be treated. I just hopped up and shook it off. Haven't experienced it in decades.

I've made steamed puddings. It's just about like a pound cake batter-lots of eggs, lots of fat. You could bake a plum pudding instead of steaming it and you would something resembling a fruitcake.

I assume it's one of the rules the escort game, and that's that. Several escorts have volunteered their names, but I don't ask.

Steamworks Berkeley and general bathhouse question
Rudynate replied to Radio12545's topic in The Lounge
I've been there from time to time to hook up with specific guys who also can't host. It doesn't seem to matter when you go, the place always seems to be jammed with horny good looking men who mean business. I've been promising myself a solo afternoon at Steamworks. -
I first heard about them in the late sixties, when I was in high school. An older guy who I occasionally had sex with came back from P-town just raving about them. I didn't get an opportunity to try them until I was in the army. They are an antidote for cyanide poisoning and field medics were always equipped with a tin of the ampules. The first time I saw one of the tins, I recognized the name right away and filched it. We sat around stoned on black afghan hash huffing amyl nitrite, screaming with laughter.

I like it for sex-turns me into a complete beast. Otherwise I don't like it that much -makes me stupid.

I have never been one to hire a lot - a few times a year. Recently, I just find it distasteful. I still look at ads a lot and it wouldn't surprise me if I went back to it. As a matter of fact, there is one guy here in SF who almost will certainly hire sometime, but I'm not in any hurry. I'm also sort off of free sex too. I started doing stuff like making dates and standing people up because I just didn't feel like going. I realized I couldn't keep treating people that way and that until my attitude improved, I'd better just not make dates.

When I lived in Denver in the early 70s, one of the gay bars had an organist. He was one of those typical lounge organists popular in the 50s and 60s. Even in the early 70s he was a bit anachronistic. The thing was, nobody liked him. They hated his music. When he went on a break, people would rush to stuff the juke box with quarters so they could play some disco that they could dance to. But he was determined to play no matter how much people hated it. When he came back off break, he would always pull the plug on the juke box to silence it. It was really pretty amusing.

Back in the 80s, luxury hotels decided to monetize their lobbies by putting in "lobby lounges," often with live music. I thought it was very pleasant to sit in the lobby lounge of a nice hotel and listen to good piano music over drinks. I don't like restaurants with live music. It's nearly always too loud. My husband doesn't like it either. If we go in a restaurant and they have live music, we don't even stay. Nordstrom has people playing the piano during business hours. I find that very enjoyable.

Many years ago, when I was in college, I asked an older romantic attachment to lend me $500.00 for school expenses. He did and I repaid him as promised. We're still friends more than 40 years later. So it can work out.

Maryland company to start Phase I trials of "cure" to HIV
Rudynate replied to Walker1's topic in The Lounge
It doesn't sound like a cure though. It allows the person's own immune system to control the virus but it sounds like the host is still infected. Nonetheless getting people off antiviral drugs would be huge. -

A few weeks ago, I went to a manscaping guy for a body shave for my last show. As a matter of course, he called me "Sir." And it was that interesting mix of respect and submission that you encounter in the BDSM world.

You could make your exercise program the organizing principle in your life.

A few weeks ago, a friend treated us to dinner at Cala, an upscale Mexican restaurant where you have to wait weeks for a reservation. Service was excellent - very leisurely. They brought us course after course of some of the best food I have ever had in a restaurant. So, if you go to the right kind of place, they're not in a hurry to see you leave.

Is There Discrimination Against Clients?
Rudynate replied to Cannon's topic in Questions About Hiring
There was an important step in all his relationship where you exchanged pictures. He got a frame for your picture and you joined all of his exes on the wall of his living room. I was beginning to find the whole thing weird, so when we got to the picture-exchange stage, I told him I didn't have one. He was a little irritated and asked me to get him one as soon as possible, and kept reminding me. -

Many Genes Influence Same Sex Sexuality, Not Just One
Rudynate replied to TruthBTold's topic in The Lounge
It's a difficult topic to study for that reason. The best studies use identical twins who were raised separately. Of course, it is difficult to assemble a large sample of such a rarefied subject. -
Nice places still serve in courses, but casual places, more and more, are bringing all the food at once. It doesn't bother me that much, although I prefer eating in courses, especially when you pay what restaurants cost in SF.
