  1. I have made small loans to friends and family.  I always insisted that they sign a note - and I always got repaid.   Once, my mother asked for a largish loan - to pay tuition for my brother and sister in private schools.  Since their state had perfectly good public schools - I told her "no," hard thing to do, but I knew I would never get repaid.

They could always have 2 kitchens & 2 dining rooms, & serve you one dish in each.

Not Jewish myself, but I worked for a kosher caterer.  Most of our jobs were at an affluent ortnodox synagogue in the suburbs.  They had a huge main kitchen that was ultra-kosher - actually two separate kitchens - meat and dairy.   But this synagogue was so big that they had a couple satellite kitchens - which were kosher enough - a single kitchen with meat on one side of the kitchen and dairy on the other side.  But the satellite kitchens weren't kosher enough for Passover - during Passover, they were closed and locked - nobody could go in them.

It's quite easy to grow. Find a spot in dappled sunlight and moist soil. It will take over quickly and provide you with plenty for a mix in your salads if you don't care for upper class finger-sandwiches.

Most every decent food hall in NYC will carry it but middle America chain supermarkets won't.

In this part of the country - almost any supermarket has it.

I have seen some providers who set an alarm timer for when you arrive/go.   I have no problem with this.

In my experience though - most providers just give gentle subtle clues about when time is up, if you can read social cues you should have no problem. I have stayed longer and chatted or just generally hung out, but I think it is kind of rude to go out of your way to try and stay over time and not pay - which is what you are essentially asking.

Overstaying your welcome in any scenario is not cool - I think a good motto and social etiquette is "Go before you are asked. Don't wait to be asked to leave."

The best way to get extra time is to book and pay for it.

I have a good sense of time - I usually know, within 5 or 10 minutes or so,  what time it is.  I just know when I have about 15 minutes left on the clock - time enough to dress after a quick shower.  So. I'm the clockwatcher.

Probably not. I’d knew I get your kind of response. If they care to answer, great. If not, no big deal. I’m far more interested in having a meaningful or insightful conversation than reading about fart fetishes.

Unfortunate you experienced my response as "tart."  What I was going for was to point out the tough spot you are putting would-be responders in.

I see what you mean, but for me it is because I have never felt romantic love.

Prior to meeting my husband, I had been in a few relationships that were all short-lived - the longest was a few months and I would characterize them all as flirtations or infatuations.  At some point, I diagnosed myself as having a classic gay man's fear of intimacy. Within 2 or 3 years after that I met my husband and we have been a couple for 32 years.

I’m hoping to see Vin on an east coast visit soon. He’s fired up his OF again and he looks fucking enormous, as well as insanely shredded — honestly, better than he’s ever looked in all the years I’ve followed him. He sent me a few photos, taken this morning — too good not to share with the rest of you filthy animals!

He's just about in contest shape. I never understood why he had no interest in competing.

No clear age is set for the end of "morning wood" or nighttime penile tumescence (NPT). When someone is in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, usually early in the morning, they can get an erection on their own. This is called NPT.

Here are some general rules about when morning wood might get less or stop:

Normal throughout life: NPT is a normal bodily process that can happen at any age, from childhood to old age, as long as the man is healthy overall.

Lessens with age: But as you get older, especially after age 50 to 60, the number and strength of your morning erections may slowly go down.
Health problems and their effects: Diabetes, heart disease, nerve diseases, low testosterone, and some drugs can all affect NPT and make it drop faster than normal changes that come with getting older.

Differences between people: When NPT starts to go down varies a lot from person to person. Some men still get erections in the morning when they are in their 70s or 80s.

Not a sign of sexual dysfunction: Not having morning wood is not always a sign of erectile dysfunction (ED), since ED is defined by not being able to get an erection when sexually aroused.

For the record, men get fewer morning erections as they age, especially after age 60, but there is no set "expiration age." Taking care of your general health can help NPT last as long as possible. If your morning erections suddenly go away when you're younger, you may need to see a doctor.

I hadn't had it in a long time, but recently started getting it again.

This surgery was awhile back very popular in China.  I believe 60 minutes or one such show did a report on it.  Mostly it was being done by people who had been passed over for promotion and who felt they had the qualifications but not the height.  Perhaps a misconception on their part or the reality that taller people and also better looking people get promotions faster than others.

It has become a thing recently - articles all over about it, personal accounts, etc.  There have been several threads on Quora.  One guy, who was very satisfied with his outcome, said that the pain and the difficulty of the recovery are vastly exaggerated by the media.

A recent study has confirmed the findings of earlier research which indicates people who regularly take erectile dysfunction medication—particularly Viagra—have a lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease.

Why the drugs appear to lessen the occurrence of Alzheimer’s is unknown. However, one theory is that the medication increases blood flow to all parts of the body, including the brain.

The results of the latest research appeared in Neurology. Scientists looked at the health records of 269,725 men in the UK. Aged over 40, the average age was 59.

And why exactly does World Viagra Day fall on March 27...

I read long ago that they prevent endothelic dysfunction (the lining of your blood vessels).  I took a 5 mg dose of cialis for years, but it started to lower my blood pressure too much so I had to stop.

According to an article in Fortune Magazine this week (sorry - it's paywalled),  there's a growing number of Gen Zers choosing vocational schools over college. They're learning to be plumbers, mechanics, electricians, etc - and jumping into these skilled careers where they can earn a six figure salary starting out.  Good for them.

My plumber is a little older than Gen Zer - maybe young Gen X.  He has a BFA and was/is an artist.

  12. I was getting a generic from India - I think $75 for 90 days.  This was back before it became so affordable in the US. I don't think I would bother with getting it offshore now.

…and not to seem unappreciative of the hourly/under $500 bookings. But:

I had a booking over the weekend that was a longer visit over 1,000. I only had 1 other visit like that all year, and it makes a big difference.

I know $250+ is a lot for most dudes to give for an “experience” anyway, but I had to run it by someone who sees me occasionally the other day: Higher amount bookings tend to be the most important thing to biz, next to regulars of course. Some of these guys only want to throw a couple hundred bucks, but they’ll talk all about how they spent $1,000 on this, or $2,000 on that luxury like it’s nothing. Which is fine, it’s their money and prerogative…

But at the same time, I can’t always multiply 200 or 300 by 5 clients in a week. Especially in markets that already have plenty of new and local escorts and masseurs, but not really enough clients to go around. So as I explained to someone the other day, “I feel like you expect me to feel asking $250/$300 is too expensive”. What if that is the only booking I have that weekend, or in some cases the whole week? Figure out how to make that last. It really doesn’t.

I know some clients probably don’t wish to spend an overnight or two days with someone. But it’s looking really attractive to go the longer session only route when doing certain bookings/locations. Like lately, I’m cutting back on the “go to a city and see 5 clients” because that’s not really always the turn out. Even after  sifting thru 1,000 messages. If they haven’t texted and done what’s needed to confirm, most times it’s just inquiries and guys bullshitting around…

So 5 “clients” could end up only being 1 actually booking (true story last month in one city, but fortunately it was an extended time booking).

That's generally the goal with professional services - more revenue from "rocks" and just filling in gaps with "pebbles."

How Silicon Valley helps spread the same sterile aesthetic across the world

Is it Silicon valley or the post-pandemic aesthetic?  I have noticed hotel rooms are invariably painted grey with bare floors, and I attribute it to a desire for the rooms to look "clean" as in literally "clean."

You're a millenial and the last pop sensation you remember was Justin Beiber? And you think he's talented? Do you also not listen to the radio? Use the internet? 😉

It's just weird because Taylor Swift (whom I don't particularly care for) is one of the most famous women in the world and she started her career a few years before Beiber.

My husband and I only have a vague idea of who Taylor Swift is.  But then, we're baby bommers, so maybe our ignorance can be excused.
