  1. That comment was the worst part of the response. Seems like Mr. Atlas is the one who needs to lighten up. That he apparently drank to excess the prior night and was therefore not in top form is also a concern.
  2. Until my warranty runs out.
  3. Luna of f(x) and Trax performing "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. Luna was once told she couldn't sing rock. Whoever said that couldn't be more wrong if they tried. The original
  4. The BeeGees music for Saturday Night Fever is classic, but has anyone considered that as white men with lucrative record contracts and a devoted manager they were profiting off co-opting a black genre? From that perspective the sudden collapse of the market onto the BeeGees looks a little bit like economic justice. And their later medical problems are things that happen to a wide variety of people. It's no more or less tragic when it happens to famous people. Personally, I liked the BeeGees' early stuff best. New York Mining Disaster 1941? Words, the melody of which I worked out on the piano? Classic.
  5. I should know this. I knew a family that had several samoyeds, though only one at a time.
  6. I know of someone who had the surgery (gastric bypass, I believe) despite being in bad health/having contraindications who died from it after lingering a long time. Another attorney in the law firm I worked at had successful surgery but her face was very gaunt. I felt she was more attractive-looking before. But she was definitely able to wear a greater variety of outfits. That wouldn't have mattered as much if garment companies made flattering clothes for everyone and adapted their styles for different sizes and shapes. Easier to do with women's clothing, I know.
  7. More like husky. Though I don't think that's a husky.
  8. David McCallum, sigh. My first celebrity crush.
  9. Maybe not. http://nypost.com/2017/09/11/hackers-could-program-sex-robots-to-kill/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow&sr_share=twitter
  10. Which is better than theirs.
  11. A vigorous rebuttal to the study: https://scatter.wordpress.com/2017/09/10/guest-post-artificial-intelligence-discovers-gayface-sigh/
  12. Looks like my skepticism puts me in good company. If they're measuring noise, the ethical dilemmas are more hypothetical than real.
  13. I'm a little skeptical of the underlying claim, but it's worth a discussion, especially about the supposed physical markers of gayness. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/sep/07/new-artificial-intelligence-can-tell-whether-youre-gay-or-straight-from-a-photograph
  14. And then there are those of us who are repulsed by alpha males and want partners with whom we can share our lives and the many shades of gray in between (allusion to that book not intended). I don't know what the proportion is, but I don't think anyone knows or has bothered to find out. I also think the rest of your post is oversimplified and conflates sexual attraction (hotness) with relationship attraction.
  15. @Truereview showed up briefly not too long ago.
  16. Asians generally don't show visible signs of age as quickly as other groups. It's also possible he dyes his hair.
  17. Except were they ever looking for more than instant gratification with those guys? In which case marrying someone who is a reliable provider (possibly they see it as "someone responsible who has ambitions") isn't settling. There's also the question whether the idea of men having to be reliable providers to be marriageable or to start a family with could go away. (It hasn't to any extent yet.) Maybe, maybe not. The following article touches on that and other things as well, including why (according to one terrible researcher) lesbians shouldn't exist. https://familyinequality.wordpress.com/2014/02/24/price-of-sex/amp/
  18. This is exactly what I'm getting at. If what you want is great sex, focusing only on the best looking guys is using the wrong criterion. Not saying that no one who's good-looking is good in the sack, just that those aren't even close to the same thing. And if your dick doesn't applaud the idea of looking for great sex, something's wrong.
  19. For added fun, eating in the living room also means being vigilant that my cat doesn't wrest the food away from me.
  20. I usually eat while sitting on the couch watching TV, although lately technical snafus mean that I watch the larger of my tablets rather than my TV. It just doesn't make sense to sit at the kitchen table by myself and eat, though sometimes I do that while checking Twitter. I'm more apt to leave my plate on the kitchen counter and eat from there.
  21. Or hooking up with them.
  22. PSA: This is Jackson of GOT7. I'm not sure but the gif immediately above it might be Bang Yongguk of B.A.P.
