caliguy reacted to marylander1940 in *Gas Prices Currently
If gas prices reach 9.99 in California or other places, some older pumps can work around it and start charging for 1/2 a gallon because they can't mark prices higher than 9.99
I don't believe that's going to be the case but it's already at $6.16 today

You started this thread and titled it I'm Really Stressed, so I assumed you were stressed as well as the escort you wrote about.

HE or extras even if YMMV based on how hot the client is are usually considered borderline if not illegal.
Urban Dictionary: HE

caliguy reacted to EZEtoGRU in Men Who Want Their Foreskin Restored
Circumcision is mutilation plain and simple. Things on the body exist for a reason and should not be messed with unless there is a medical need or until the person is an adult and makes a choice for themselves.
I regret having been circumcised. Unfortunately, that's just how things were done when I was born in Michigan. Would I consider foreskin reconstruction? Probably not because the process doesn't seem to have been perfected yet.
Oh...and by the way, I do not agree with circumcision for religious reasons. It's still wrong as far as I'm concerned.

I think sero converting isn't as easy as some people might think. It's when you add drugs that the risk goes way up. Nothing is worse to the body and immune system than hard drugs. Especially Meth. Your body's natural barriers and defenses are broken down allowing viruses to easily pass through.

Being up for days plus dehydration wears down the skin. Skin is our our first line of defense against virus. Plus your immune system takes a beating. That's the second line of defense. 3rd line is making a shitload of bad choices.

My mother volunteered at the AIDS service in my hometown. She probably knew more AIDS patients than me. Sometimes I wonder if she chose that role as a way to generate karma for me. I guess it worked.
When I started dating, back then a lot of guys opted to avoid anal. Of course some laughed at that idea. But, as others mentioned above, that was a frightening time.
Also, back then, in my memory, being the "bottom" had a stigma attached. I remember a famous, super masculine porn actor being asked, "why do you bottom?". He said "because it feels good". But many of us weren't taught much, including why anal can feel good.
So with that stigma attached, and the terrible fear of AIDS, avoiding anal made sense. It scared me.
I didn't understand the "feels good" part until later. So, as I mentioned in the prior post, my naivete was in my favor.
My sense today is young men are much more aware of sexuality and their body, and more apt to want to receive anal.

caliguy reacted to Beancounter in Dollar Tree announces first price hike in 35 years! 25% increase!
I’m amused at how easily people are angered and riled up over Dollar Tree’s proposed 25% base point price increase. I’m the first to admit I shop there routinely for specific items. Examples of what I call bargains include:
1. Greeting cards. Many times they’re 2 for a dollar. Why pay $4-5 for a Hallmark card? People remember the personalized note I write in the card and then usually toss the card.
2. Gift bags. Another inexpensive item. The gift I put in the bag is where I spend my money, not the gift wrapping vessel.
3. Special occasion balloons. Admittedly, I’ve only purchased one in the past year.
4. Foil roasting pans. $4.00 at Kroger. $1.00 at Dollar Tree.
5. Seasonal decorations.
As an accountant I look behind the numbers. On the surface a 25% increase sounds outrageous. When viewed as 25 cents it doesn’t seem so bad. Conversely, a 25% increase on a $100,000 item is something to take notice of.
At the end of the day I’d tell you that Dollar Tree sells a lot of junk. They also sell some one-use items that are truly bargains. If someone is shopping exclusively at Dollar Tree then they probably have a very difficult life and perhaps a quarter won’t severely impact their life. I would assume their life is already extremely difficult.

It’s a multi-billion dollar enterprise with CEO making annually several million, and employees paid minimum wage.
No, it’s not justified. It’s greed.

I can't believe Geffen was that stupid. He's well known for being really shrewd with his money. Maybe it's an end of life thing. I mean you can't take it with you.

If the initial offer was almost a million by Geffen then I'm sure the settlement was way higher. Enough so that he'll never have to suck another old 🍆 again. 🥳
