TruHart1 got a reaction from pubic_assistance in Apollo Phoenix
The name “Apollo Phoenix” is actually one of the names he used when he was making adult videos! You can easily google the name and find some of his videos. He also used the name “Joe Thunder” for some of his adult videos.
I agree with all of the positive comment about Apollo Phoenix on this thread. If you are lucky enough to meat with him you will NOT be disappointed. He’s truly a wonderful guy!

Dario is NOT retired! He is, in fact, actively escorting and is visiting San Francisco this very weekend!

It’s nice to see the Dario is still around. I’ve appreciated his ad for many years, but our paths never crossed.

I’ve found Alan is worth any and ALL hassles encountered due to his “floating” itinerary, when attempting to sync my schedule with him. He’s simply among the best escorts I’ve ever been lucky enough to spend (always wonderful!) time with!!!

As I’ve stated previously, Allen seems to have an innate sense of exactly what he needs to do to/with me to heighten my pleasure during our sessions. He never fails to delight and often surprise me as we interact! I definitely label this as a unique technique when it comes to making each experience with him more exciting than the previous ones! Allen is truly gifted at giving pure sexual pleasure!

I just had to add my agreement with all the positive responses to Allen in this thread! Each and every time I’ve been lucky enough to meat with him has been better than the last! I swear he can feel and respond to my wants and desire as if he can read my mind!
I had read @latbear4blk’s vlog a few years ago when he named Allen his personal “Escort of the year” I never got the chance to meet this wonderful man until just this year, but he’s now one of my favorite escorts of all time! Whether he retires or not, I only wish him all the best in life! He has certainly given his best to me EVERY time we’ve met!!!

LOL! Whether you’re being tongue in cheek (his or yours or both!) in your above statement, if you do happen to find yourself in a city Jaden is visiting, and he travels extensively around the Midwest, with Dallas and Kansas City as his anchors, don’t fail to meet him. You will not be disappointed!!!

Just to add. I have been enjoying Jaden’s amazing expertise at all things to do with furnishing a true BFE every time I see him (about once a month, beginning in September, 2021!) and there are very few guys who intuitively found my “g-spots” and always remembers all of my turn-ons! He’s truly one-of-kind, among the very best!!!

Agreeing with all the positives! Jaden is fantastic. The best kisser. So comfortable and kind. Easy to talk to. Incredibly sexy. He serves the entire fantasy. He's into it, he plays along, he celebrates the moments- just wow. The best. Two experiences this year and fingers crossed more in the future.

Until you are physically in his presence, it is difficult to imagine just how tall (6'3") and bulked
up he really is. He towered over me (I'm 5'7"!) and I got even more turned on because of it!!!

My only thing is hygiene… if I have a client who has clearly not showered before hand and I’m gagging from the smell of his balls I won’t see them again. Looks and stuff don’t matter but hygiene definitely does to me.

TruHart1 reacted to + ApexNomad in When to tell a provider I’m a virgin?
No one should ever feel ashamed for being a virgin. But I don’t think remaining a virgin automatically gives someone clarity or makes them immune to bad decisions. People mess up for all kinds of reasons, and that’s part of being human.
Sex isn’t inherently the problem—it’s how people approach it that can be problematic. When done with the right mindset and respect for yourself and others, it can be one of the most fulfilling and meaningful experiences. It’s not about losing anything; it’s about gaining connection, confidence, and understanding.
At the end of the day, it’s a personal decision. For some, staying a virgin feels right, and for others, exploring intimacy is part of their journey. What matters is making the choice on your terms, free from shame or pressure because that’s where real clarity and power come from.
I lost my virginity to a provider well over 40 years ago—a very different time from the tools we have now. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. We spoke on the phone beforehand, and I even met him in person before going back to his place. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I’m not saying he wouldn’t have been any of those things if I hadn’t told him, but I can assure you, the fact that I did share that with him made him treat it as every bit as special as it was.
In my opinion, it’s really important to be upfront about your needs and circumstances. While it might feel intimidating, honesty and transparency go a long way and it will also weed out the providers who don’t take the request seriously. I also think the advice about paying for a provider’s time as if it’s “date” is really solid. It can help calm your nerves and also give you a chance to see if this is someone you feel comfortable exploring your body with. What you want is a safe space, and I think finding that in today’s culture, and respectfully at your age, may prove difficult. There are many active providers here who can give you that safe space.
If hiring a provider feels like too much right now, consider starting with an erotic massage as a stepping stone, as others have said. It’s a great way to get used to human touch in an intimate, safe, and professional setting. You might find it helps you feel more relaxed and in tune with what you want from future experiences.
As for the idea that an escort will exacerbate your social issues by making it too easy, I disagree. A provider isn’t a permanent replacement for genuine social connection, but they can help you take an important first step. Building confidence and experiencing intimacy in a safe, judgment-free environment can be a stepping stone to opening yourself up to future experiences and relationships. For me, it was incredibly empowering and life-affirming.
I was VERY lucky with the provider I met. A true professional will meet you halfway, but you also need to be willing to do the same. It’s all about finding someone who respects where you’re coming from and works with you. Best of luck to you!

TruHart1 reacted to + Charlie in Do you share the fact that you hire?
The only people with whom I share my history of hiring is the people I have met from this site. I can't remember anyone else ever having asked if I have hired. It's not a subject that usually comes up in social conversation.

TruHart1 got a reaction from ShortCutie7 in What opera "changed your mind"?
My love of opera came from quite a selfish place to begin. As a young, junior high choir and church choir tenor, I began taking solo singing lessons from my school choir director in 7th grade. I enjoyed learning about singing technique, though I was gifted with only a light tenor voice.
My dad loved to play (self-taught) guitar and sing, mainly old country music like Hank Williams, my mom enjoyed singing hymns in our church congregation, so neither liked opera. My dad got so tired when I was listening to opera once that he yelled into my room, “Isn’t she (the soprano) dead, yet?”
Anyway, neither of my parents ever cared for opera at all. As a young singer of about 12 or 13, I decided opera had to be the ultimate “highest of the higher arts!” Really a pretty selfish reason to begin listening to the art form, for some sort of perceived or hoped for, increased social status.
I began listening to a local college radio show which had a weekly music broadcast which played excerpts from Italian, French and German operas, one opera each week. Around the same time, my parents gave me a birthday present of a reel to reel tape recorder, so I could record these programs, and listen repeatedly to “educate” myself.
What happened, though, was that I began to love opera and certain operatic singers, especially sopranos at first. Two of those radio broadcasts especially enlightened me: excerpts from Faust, with de los Angeles, Gedda and Christoff, and excerpts from Boheme, with de los Angeles, Bjorling and Merrill.
A year or so later, I discovered the Saturday afternoon MET broadcasts, and I became a true “opera lover.” After that, there was no going back. Although I realized opera per se was not a ladder to social status, I became a lifelong follower of the art form!

Not really. I was exposed to opera from the time I was a child, because my mother was a trained classical singer. We listened to the Met performances on the radio every Saturday, so it was a familiar form of music for me from an early age, although I didn't actually see a performance till I was in my teens.

I can't wait to get back to the city to see him again. He's a total muscle dream -- big, hard, knows how to show it off, share his body, and get into the head of a client starved for muscle and tons of hot contact. He's handsome, uber masculine, and totally focused on providing an outstanding experience.

TruHart1 reacted to + ApexNomad in The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay at the Met
Will do! I agree—the Met has been very intentional, for more than a decade now, about expanding opera’s reach, especially to younger audiences. They’ve done it through accessible pricing, cinematic broadcasts, educational programs, fresh and modern storytelling, and digital platforms that make the art form feel more approachable.

TruHart1 reacted to Alchemy in Why do you pay for sex?
< So I had my first real sexual experience at the age of 41 with an escort. >
Add 22 years to that number. I came out last year at 63 (was happily married, then widowed) and had my first gay sexual experience at that age (I'm not counting fumbling in backyard tents as a 12-year-old). I couldn't imagine starting my dating life as a 63-year-old gay virgin. So I hired an escort. He was brilliantly kind, gorgeous, generous and patient. I'm now hooking up regularly with a variety of guys through Grindr, Tinder, etc., and also have a couple FWB. I still see that first escort at least once a month and, occasionally, a new escort when traveling. Convenience, attractiveness, safety, lack of pressure and judgment -- those are among the other reasons. Also, having been with the same guy on nearly 40 "dates," we've developed a familiarity that is comforting to me. And we both know it's not going to become something more. It's worked out beautifully for me.

TruHart1 reacted to Rudynate in Why do you pay for sex?
I fetishize hiring. The phenomenon itself to me is sexy. Nothing degrading or desperate about it to me. The very first time I thought about it, I was in my late 20's, and I had a fantasy of hiring Gordon Grant. I didn't just want to have sex with him, I wanted to pay him for sex. A friend of mine who had connections in the porn world in San Francisco told me he could probably get me a date with Gordon Grant and it wouldn't cost anything, but I never followed up on it. Gordon Grant died before I could realize my fantasy. Paying for it is just very sexy to me. You show up, or he shows up, nothing is said about money. It's just like two guys on a date, but the money is there and he takes it without a word. Totally hot!!
