Not that it's an impossible occurrence, I do think it's a wee bit paranoid. If that's really a concern of yours, then have them come to you at a hotel (or your home if you're comfortable). I didn't meet him. However, I did have some back and forth contact with him. I was in NYC maybe about a year back. I contacted him a few days before my visit and I got no response. On the last night of my trip, while I was with friends and family for dinner, he texted me wanting to meet up. I told him that I couldn't. He then tried to persuade me to leave the dinner and meet up. He wasn't rude about it but very playful and sexy in the exchange. Frankly, some guys receive hundreds of messages a day.
