People who aren't nomadic will never understand the concept of making friends everywhere you go. I have pals who tour with Broadway shows. Same thing. That 'gypsy' life requires you to not only find a family within your cast, but to also make connections all over the world. A traveling escort is basically in the same boat. I feel fortunate to really enjoy both: My tight-knit group in San Antonio and the people I've met everywhere else along the way.

It's more palatable to think of Cade like he's the premium ticketing option for a hot Broadway show. Hamilton... With less clothing. The Producers... Of a raging erection.

These threads always start and end the same way. Let's not bemoan- or shame- if you can't or don't want to afford a guy's rates. Just move forward. Tons of other quality options out there.

Calvin Klein’s ex-boy-toy busted for beating man with frying pan
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
It's simple: CK did it because he could. Many older wealthy gay men play Pygmalion with younger, inexperienced guys... And it's always a crapshoot. The younger guy has to have enough sense to learn something, appreciate the experience and make decisions that will secure his future. -
Agreed that a good mattress can be life-changing. I truly love mine. One size doesn't fit all, so make sure to get 30-90 day return terms and send it back if it's not the right fit.

Anyone know if there's a statute of limitations on this one? 2005 is quite long ago. I'm assuming at Weber being 74 years old, these guys are just going for a quick settlement and not anything criminal.

Why's that? It's not as if their 'church' is different from any other 'church' It's really all the same shtick. Same general system of belief: Different characters. As to the IRS, they fight hard for their cut and don't easily grant these tax exemptions without a lot of legal hand-wringing. Something must have been presented that made sure the Satanic Temple was in-line with every other major.

What's the most you've ever heard someone spend on a hire?

This. A lot of people talk about Dubai without ever having stepped foot there. They read something or a friend of a friend told a story and suddenly it's fear of public stonings and how archaic it all is. I've been to Dubai many times, as well as Abu Dhabi and I've never had fear in either place. I enjoyed myself immensely. The cultural is fascinating. Superb blends of old and new architecture. Incredible food. Extremely friendly people.

Depending on what you're charging to begin with, that's a risky move. It's can kill the goose that laid the golden egg. Reminds me of a client who took me on my first visit to an Aman property. *cue flashback fade and music* Picture it. Amangiri. 2009. I was stunned by the whole place. Just cinematically designed and almost ethereal. I continue to travel with this fella to interesting places because I didn't slam him on an extended rate. It's been fun. -

Now I'm curious about the property. Ladera? Jade Mountain? Sugar Beach? -

Oh, the IRS messes with a lot of 'churches' who don't have official tax-exempt status. It's how the war between Scientology and the IRS started in 1992 (or so), with Scientology being one of the few entities ever who strong-armed the IRS into submission. The Satanic Temple was granted status in early 2019. If his home was considered an official 'church,' he may indeed claim all of this raised money tax-free.

That's not true. I fly with AA a lot and they've made it clear on every flight I've been on that they don't allow vented masks and/or just face shields. COVID cesspool because they are a company with shareholders and want to fill every seat? Numerous studies have been done saying that leaving a middle seat open does nothing to combat COVID, as it's still nowhere near a 6ft radius between pax. It's just something some airlines do to make people FEEL safer.

Key West is a mess. I'd steer clear for awhile. It's attracting a HUGE influx of 'personal freedom fighters' who won't/don't wear masks. The city is between a rock and a hard spot in ticketing them, as the Gov has made it clear that people won't be legally held liable. Overall, what was once a great creative, odd, weird, gay spot is now like the rest of Florida. It's sad. Also keep in mind that beginning on 1/26, you will need to have a negative COVID test to re-enter the States. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/14/travel/international-travel-covid-test.html

This Q&A might frame it better. https://www.thebodypro.com/article/does-descovy-work-better-than-truvada-for-prep-discover-trial-questions No matter what you choose, it's ultimately a personal decision. Any PrEP is better than no PrEP at all. What did make me pause was this article. There's clearly a lot of money being thrown into marketing this drug and patients are beginning to ask for it specifically without really knowing why. https://www.thebodypro.com/article/should-prep-users-on-truvada-switch-to-descovy

Sheets are one of those ultra-personal choices that runs the gambit in responses. Frette are great sheets when I'm in a hotel, but I don't want them in my home. They take a decent amount of care when it comes to laundering, pressing, etc. I learned early on that in spending that kind of money on a set, you can easily ruin them (and I did). I love Brooklinen, The Company Store, Parachute and LL Bean for percale sheets.

I was in on the beta of the band from March to October of this year. It's a very small device that's easy to wear. All interaction is done on your mobile phone through the app. While some of the features like speech analyzation are techno-interesting, they kill the battery quickly. The feature set of the band is better than FitBit, but battery life remains the downfall. I could never go 12+ hours before having to charge. For me, after the beta was done, I ultimately decided to tuck it away in a drawer. I'm squarely in the Apple ecosystem, so their watch is more attractive to me, especially since they started Apple Fitness+
