Hi, I’ve had the privilege of communicating with some of Guy/daddy’s friends on the West Coast. They’ve known him for close to 50 years. They’ve worked together, lived together, and just hung out. One of them was daddy’s Advocate while he was in the hospital. Needless to say, daddy’s passing had a major impact on them. One of the friends recently emailed me and provided some pictures. He said if anyone is interested to share them. He also wrote about some interesting stories, for example, back in the ‘90’s, daddy officiated at their wedding. Yes, he wore many hats. If anyone would like to see these pictures send me a PM with your email address. For me, that’s the easiest way to do it. Cooper

Good question but as several members already said, the rules prohibit the posting of escort reviews on the message center. That won’t change. There was a reason Guy Fawkes created 2 separate sites. It’s for all our protection, especially, the Administrators.

I am very sorry to report that Guy Fawkes/daddy passed away this evening of heart failure. For over a month he remained in the hospital unconscious and on life support. His passing touches us all. He was a man who dedicated his life to providing a Forum where men would feel free and comfortable talking about all sorts of topics that covered our life style. Having worked with daddy since he started this site I got to see first hand how much he cared about people and viewed us as his family. He was a very bright man with a love for life. Update: Friday, March 26th: called the hospital to get an update on Guy’s condition. It’s now 1 month since he was found unconscious on the floor of his apartment. Some changes from Monday’s update. He now has the tracheotomy replacing the tube down his throat. He’s no longer being sedated or receiving any pain medication. He’s unresponsive to any commands and hasn’t opened his eyes this week. His blood pressure remains high. I asked about his organs. This is the 1st time I was told he’s on dialysis. He’s still on the ventilator and his skin sores are not healing. This medical report was difficult for me to hear and I’m sure it’s difficult for all to read. We’ve been keeping Guy Fawkes/daddy in our thoughts and hoping for the best. As I mentioned earlier, he’s been unconscious for a month and the reports haven’t shown any signs of recovering. If anyone wants to visit Guy in the hospital, please send me a PM for the details. @Unicorn, I asked about the tracheostomy. Although the doctor discussed it with the advocate, as of this AM, it wasn’t performed. If anything changes, I’ll post it. Cooper

Update: Monday, 3.22. Called the hospital today to check up on Guy Fawkes/daddy. He did open his eyes but was unresponsive to any noises or movements. No other health changes. He’s now in “Palliative Care” and the DNR order was signed. Let’s continue to keep daddy in our thoughts/prayer, and sending good karma and vibes. Cooper

@Lucky, ? Thanks. At that time there was no Strip Club Forum we were part of the Lounge. Hooboy called and asked if I’d like to start one. Back then the Gaiety was our biggest and most read topic. Things just grew from there. ?

March 18th Update: Received a call from the social worker. First off daddy’s condition remains unchanged. She called to let me know that a long time friend of daddy’s from the state of Washington was appointed by the hospital to be his decision maker for his health care. Sadly, no family member was found.

On March 17, 2005 the last stage show took place at the Gaiety. What a sad night that was. Unfortunately, nothing in NYC ever came close to replacing it. So many happy memories. If you do a search on the Gaiety you’ll find many discussions and reviews. Those dancers became household names. Those were the days... Sure miss it. ?

Thanks @Unicorn for taking the time to post that information. Not sure how the social worker is going to proceed. As of yesterday she was still contacting his friends & business associates. @Lucky ? Thanks for understanding my situation.

Another update: Texted with the social worker. She has reached out to the names I provided. Unfortunately, the ones she spoke to had no knowledge of any relatives nor did they know of anyone who might have POA. If she locates someone she’ll let me know.

Update: 3.15.21. Called the hospital @ 8:30am NY time to inquire about daddy’s/Guy Fawkes condition. There has been no change. He remains sedated, on a ventilator, with a feeding tube. There have been several unsuccessful attempts to wake him. The hospital said they “don’t want to sugar coat his condition”. Simply put, it doesn’t look good. I’ll contact the social worker later today and see if she’s had any luck locating a family member or someone who can act as his legal guardian. Cooper

Sorry to hear this. Got to know him when he moved from Boston to NYC. He used to join a group of us at the 20 Club. A very intelligent man who made some very thought provoking posts.

Update Friday, March 12th. I sent the social worker a few additional names of associates of daddy’s. Hopefully, these leads can turn up someone related to him or someone who might have POA. Thanks to those sending me this information. Daddy’s condition remains the same. No change from Wednesday’s report. It’s now over 2 weeks since the police found daddy on the floor of his home. Other than keeping him in our thoughts, prayers, or sending good karma, we just have to patiently wait for the healing/recovery process to kick in. I truly appreciate all the concern and love you’ve shown for daddy/Guy Fawkes. He means a lot to us. I’ll do my best to keep you posted. Cooper ❤️
