@SteveAgain, Just so all the moderators see your message, could you re-post it in the Ask the Moderators Forum.

@NYCMascMan2, A few years ago I was at Hero when it was raided by undercover cops. At the time I was getting my massage. There was a knock on the door and in walks a man who identified himself as a cop. The masseur was asked to go outside and I was told to get dressed and leave. While dressing a cop remained with me. I asked what was going on and he said they were “checking licenses”. The Spa was closed but less than a week later it reopened. When I returned one of the masseurs told me they were fined and once paid they could reopen. It had nothing to do with the services they offered. There was no domino effect and no one was arrested.

Autumn is such a beautiful season. I took a trip to the Catskills area in Putnam County, NY. The colors and weather this season were perfect! I walked along the Empire State Trailway which extends from the Bronx to the Canadian border. It was recently written up in the Sunday NY Times Travel Section. One special area I walked was the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Croton Reservoir. There, the Autumn colors reflected off the crystal clear waters that eventually will become the drinking water for NYC. I enjoyed the pleasant smell of the falling leaves that filled the fresh clean air and the amazing colors the leaves created in what was like a carpet covering the trail. The sunshine added comfortable warmth and a beautiful sparkling to the colors. I walked for about 4 miles, took many pictures, and had such a relaxing & peaceful day with my friends. The leaves in that area have all fallen as the peak season isn’t that long. Also, the gusty winds we recently had took all the remaining leaves off the trees. There’s no cost to walking the Empire State Trailway which was once a RR line. You can pick the trail up in multiple places where parking is available. Not only were people walking but there were joggers, bikers, parents pushing strollers, dog walkers, etc. Occasionally, I would see deer grazing along the trail. I truly enjoy the 4 Seasons in NY. Nature has so much beauty to offer.

Received my booster a few days ago and, like others mentioned, only reaction was a soreness in the arm. Unlike my 1st two shots there were no lines or waiting this time. In NYC anyone over 18 is eligible. I don’t know if that’s the same requirement in other areas. Here in NYC, in order to enter a restaurant, bar, show, etc you have to wear a mask, show proof of covid shot, and your drivers license or other ID. I found it very odd when I was at the Bryant Park outdoor skating rink to see skaters being required to wear masks.

@broccolij, Welcome to M4M. If you’re looking for specific/intimate details on a massage, I suggest you send a PM to the member. Our policy is to protect the licenses of both the Spa & masseur. Some actions taken in private might be considered illegal. We don’t want to put anyone in jeopardy. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Hope your massage at Prime is a satisfying experience. 👍🏼

@Silver Spring, It seems every time I’m at Prime in Mineola there are new masseurs making it hard to recommend anyone. How was your experience?

@Sixpack, Before covid I used to frequent Time Square Spa. I have no idea as to the relevance of your reply. Please explain.

Thanks to all who have shared your thoughts and concerns about this new feature. The moderators have read them and will discuss them. Lately, I’ve been dealing with several issues/violations coming from bumping up old threads. Most have been reported for personal attacks and misinformation about providers. The majority of these reports are originating from the Deli. Recently, I started a thread in the Lounge asking for your help after a “newbie” (possibly an old user under a new name) posted 7 replies, resurrecting old threads, to attack different providers with damaging information. Just the other day another “newbie” resurrected 4 old threads to announce that a retired provider was returning to the business. It wasn’t true but in his multiple messages he shared the providers current personal contact information. I appreciate the memberships help in reporting & identifying these messages. All these posts had one thing in common, they were threads dating back several years. All actions had to be handled by the moderators. This is very time consuming and, as you know, we only have a few moderators. Sadly, no one answered our call for volunteers to help. By adding this new feature, we are hoping to cut back on these violations. Please, let’s give it a try. If problems do arise, let’s discuss it and see how we can accommodate you. If you have a personal concern, please feel free to contact us privately by either posting in the new Forum: “Ask A Moderator”, or “ “contact us”. These messages will be received & seen only by the Moderators. Cooper

When you mentioned CD’s, I thought you were talking about Certificates of Deposits. When back in the days you could lock in a high rate of interest. I still remember getting 20% on a money market. Yes, those were the days!

My thanks 🙏 goes out to the members who recently caught & reported some spam. Yes, another “Medicine Man” 🥼 returned selling some feel good advice and another shared a suspicious message with a link that didn’t work. 🤔 @latbear4blk, Hope you didn’t miss this “fun”. 😉 Members, Your help is much appreciated. Thanks! 👍🏼

My friend & I went to “Prime Men Spa” today. I had contacted them in the AM to see who was available. Two new masseurs were recommended: David and Kimi. David is very professional and well trained. I received an excellent massage. I liked how quickly he moved his strong hands around my body. Not spending too much time on any one area. David uses his finger tips to lightly tap your entire body. It was very erotic & ticklish. My friend had Kimi. He told me he was very satisfied with his massage and was so relaxed that he was falling asleep. The spa is small and very clean. A 1 hour massage is $70. Adam is the manager. He’s very friendly & accommodating. He saw me when I was parking outside the Spa and came out to put the quarters in the meter. Very thoughtful. I’ve been going to Prime since it opened and never left disappointed. Btw, Bliss in Manhasset has closed. Cooper

Administrator’s Message Similar threads on this provider have been started. Interesting that a newbie’s 1st post is asking about this well talked about provider. The threads sound more like stalking. Once a thread is locked the topic is closed. Please, don’t start another thread about him. If you have had a session with him, send in your review so that the provider can reply. Thanks.

To the Membership, Your help in submitting reports on rules violations is most appreciated. As some of you may have noticed, we are also seeing threads by newbie “Medicine Men”. They have a pill that cures all of your manly problems. These messages have appeared in different Forums. This basically is free advertising and not permitted. So, if you see such a thread, please continue to report it. Thanks again! 🙏

I was asked a question about how much time does moderating take. Well, that depends on how much time you’re currently spending on the site. If you visit the site everyday, then, you are already spending enough time. For example: You enjoy reading or contributing to the Spa and understand the Forum’s Guidelines. Well, that would be a good place for you to start. Remember, we are only asking you to moderate 1 or maybe 2 Forums. Plus, the other moderators will be around to help. When I joined the team I started out by only moderating the newly created Strip Club Forum. That was enough for me as the Gaiety threads used to be one of the most popular threads on the site. I also attended the G regularly. It was a perfect fit. Please, give it some thought as we can use a few good men! If you have other questions, please don’t hesitate to post it on “Ask the Moderator” or send me a PM. Cooper

To all members, Recently, several newbies have registered for one reason only, to personally attack the providers. Just now I had to take action to remove a newbie who quickly posted 7 negative messages about providers. If you see such a message could you report it. Thanks!

Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, Please stay on topic. This Forum is supposed to be about Spas and Masseurs not about individual members. The Moderators have received reports on this thread indicating a problem. Let’s try to resolve it without our action.

@WilliamM, And sometimes that isn’t enough. We have several members who live alone. When I hadn’t heard from @Guy Fawkes, I already had his real name, his email address, his cell number, and even his address which turned out to be a PO address. I still couldn’t reach him. We had to track down a member, who was out of the country, to get his home address. Only after that was I able to contact the police to do a Wellness Visit. At that time we discussed the issue of sharing contact info with one another. Hopefully, just contacting a member by PM will get a response. Right now I’m in touch with a long-time member by e-mail who’s having medical issues. He hasn’t logged in for over 2 months. I’m looking forward to his return. If you miss someone’s participation, try reaching out to them privately.

One way that’s been tried to attract new members and encourage more participation was to create new Forums and Sub-Forums. HooBoy introduced the “Strip Club” Forum. It was an instant success and attracted many new members... Most recently, the “Sports Desk” was added, a Forum that several members had requested... Daddy created the “Gallery” which is now one of our most popular Forums... And, a few years back, the “Comedy/Tragedy” Forum was added and now has several Sub-Forums. With Broadway reopening I’m sure we will be seeing more members contributing. HooBoy and daddy realized that to attract new members and increase the participation of others, it was necessary to open the site to new areas/interests for discussions.
