  1. Finished Season 2. The 7 episodes went fast. I agree that the addition of Bette Midler made a big difference but I also enjoyed the roles played by Judith Light & her secretary. If there is a Season 3, the show might be moving from NY to DC. Does anyone want to play “rock, scissors, paper”?
  2. @Buff Daddy. As someone who frequents NYC gay bars, could you share the article or the names of those bars. Thanks
  3. @TruthBTold. Thanks for the heads up. I’m looking forward to watching Season 2. It will be interesting to see which cast members make the move to NY. The trailer shows more sex than Season 1.
  4. @Lucky @g56whiz. Yes certainly good times @ The 20 Club. It opened in Jan 2006. Found the original thread. Nice trip down memory lane. Glad most of the “Posse” is still in touch. NYC really needs a comfortable club like this. Enjoyed our days of dinner, relaxing at the 20C, and being entertained by some of NY’s hottest dancers. https://m4m-forum.org/threads/grand-opening-of-the-20-club-in-nyc.66705/
  5. Hi @Charlie, I removed the link from your reply. This happens when you include the quote/link in your reply.
  6. I became a fan of Ben Platt’s when I saw his Tony winning performance in Dear Evan Hansen. Since then I’ve been following his career. When I heard his 2019 concert at Radio City was being aired on Netflix, I couldn’t wait to see it. His album got a lot of attention as some were calling it his coming out album. He wrote the lyrics to all his songs. They tell of struggles & happiness he’s had in his life. The concert is good. I’ll leave it up to the fashion critics to describe his odd attire. He did look a bit awkward dancing and there were no special effects which we think of when attending a concert. Ben told his story of how he came out to his parents. He was 12 at the time. It was funny & his parents were most accepting. They & his siblings are often shown at the concert. I don’t know if any of his songs made the charts as I don’t hear them being played on the radio. He does have a Pandora station where you can listen to his music. He puts his heart & soul into his singing, the same way he did playing Evan Hansen. If you’re a fan of his you’ll enjoy his concert.

  8. Kim’s Convenience on Netflix is back with Season 4. Good comedy show.
  9. I’ve just started to watch Freud on Netflix. I enjoyed the 1st Episode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR4gWi8niL8
  10. @Jakub lee: Have you read his reviews? http://www.daddysreviews.com/search/Inactive/tommy/tommy_deluca_nyc
  11. @Jakub lee, I’m no “novice” here. I’ve been with Tommy and would recommend him. He’s been working for awhile. Nice guy.
  12. @E.T.Bass, I, too, would watch a Season 2 if released. The way Season 1 ended it leaves several unanswered questions that new episodes could build on. I guess we’ll just have to wait & see.
  13. Was at Time Square Spa yesterday. There were 5 masseurs working. I had a very relaxing massage with Alven. He has strong hands & fingers. Gives a very thorough and full body massage. If you’ve tried him you also must have enjoyed his finger tapping, felt like tickling. I went in early to make my appointment. Got to meet a few of the masseurs. There are some new ones.
  14. I had to do some searching to find this thread. There's a new cast in "To Kill A Mockingbird". It now stars: Ed Harris as Atticus Finch, Nina Grollman as Scout, Nick Robinson as Jem, and Taylor Trensch as Dill. It's a story that most of us are already familiar with, whether it be from reading the book or viewing the movie. In spite of the age of some cast members, ex. Ed Harris is 70 a bit old to be the father of young children, it's a great production and a powerful story. The talented cast is very likeable and connects well with the audience. I heard a lot of sniffling from audience members around me. It's now an easy ticket to get at TKTS and is available as a coronavirus ticket special for $50.
  15. The productions include: “West Side Story,” “The Lehman Trilogy” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” “To Kill a Mockingbird” “The Book of Mormon”
  16. Broadway is aware of the coronavirus fears & has cut ticket prices on some shows to $50. https://nypost.com/2020/03/10/broadway-tickets-chopped-to-50-amid-coronavirus-fears/
  17. @BSR... The review you wrote of Toy Boy is quite accurate. I certainly won’t sign up just to see this show. However, a free month of Netflix will give you an opportunity to view other shows that are reviewed in the TV forum. I still haven’t gotten through Season 1 of Toy Boy. Each episode is over an hour and, every time you think they’ve discovered the murderer, there’s another twist. Yes, you can choose the original language. The English dubbing is rather good.
  18. I also attended the modern version of West Side Story. Like others have said, the casting is the big difference. Had I not seen the original production several times and loved it, it might have been easier to appreciate the casts' diversity. In the performance I saw, Tony looked more like Maria's brother and Maria's very angry brother, Bernardo, was played by a Middle Eastern looking actor. Yes, it was difficult to distinguish between the Jets and the Sharks, especially during the fighting and dancing numbers. This also became an issue during the final scene when the two groups come together following Tony's death. Had I not seen the original production, I doubt I would have figured it out. Because the director wanted this production to be 1hr and 45 min with no intermission, the story moved very quickly without really developing the characters. I read that 2 songs were left out and there was no finger snapping during the "Jet Song" (not sure why). The highlights for me would be the amazing choreography, fabulous songs, and exceptional orchestra. The fighting dance scene between the Jets and the Sharks, during a non-ending rain storm, is excellently done. The duet between Maria and Anita singing, "A Boy Like That" and "I have a Love", is show stopping. Maria's voice, by far, is the best in the cast. Finally, the hidden orchestra is very powerful and great to listen/reminisce to. As for the huge screen that replaces the need for any scenery, it also shows the cast live and up close. IMO, it works and doesn't work. At times the only way to see the actors is by looking at the screen, it also makes the cast look very small on stage. The actor running around with the camera, at times, is a distraction. The modern version of WSS is not a happy one. One song, "Gee, Officer Krupke", which in the original is fun, lively, and animated, is now sung as a political statement showing video clips of police brutality. Another video, shows the WALL that divides the US and Mexico. Obviously, not in the original production. I'd be interested in talking with young people who are not familiar with the original production to hear their thoughts and see what message, if any, they took away from this modern day production. I'm glad I saw it for if someone tried to explain this to me I might have a hard time understanding how the new production impacts on the original. So, sit back, enjoy, and try hard not to compare.
  19. Toy Boy on Netflix is a who done it murder mystery involving wealthy & powerful Spanish families. Many of the scenes are shot inside a male strip club called the Inferno. Lots of suspense and coverups. There’s a good looking male cast and lots of male dancing. https://www.netflix.com/title/81036622
  20. Went to Prime on Tuesday. Had a choice of Adam or Leo. For no particular reason I picked Leo. He looks a bit different without his signature blonde hair. A very thorough 60 min massage. Attention was given from head to toe and all parts in between. Both Adam & Leo are very nice guys and make you feel very welcome & comfortable. @Heywood01... In some cases hearing the sounds coming from the room next door might “add to the enjoyment” but the Spa also does manscaping and that’s a completely different sound. As for Bliss in Manhasset, Andy is no longer there and I couldn’t find out if anyone replaced him.
  21. Admin Note: Let’s stay on topic and avoid the personal attacks.
  22. To celebrate the Chinese New Year ?, I treated myself to a massage at Prime Men Spa in Mineola, Long Island. My masseur was Adam. A youthful looking & very friendly Asian with a medium build. His massage was excellent & very relaxing. I’ve now had 3 massages @ Prime. My masseurs were Leo, Will, & Adam. All 3 are very good, you won’t be disappointed. I’m told another masseur works Fri-Sun named Oscar. I haven’t meet him yet. There was no issue with time. In fact, Adam went well over the hour. And, I found a meter parking spot right in front of the Spa. As is their custom, you leave with a mini bottle of water, some Asian hard candy, and a hug.
  23. I also had a similar experience on Grindr. A pic of a cute 21 yo asking to meet older men. I sent a message asking if he were interested. A few days later he replies saying I’m actually 14 yo are you still interested? That was my cue to block him. Yes, I believe this was a potential case of entrapment. I haven’t seen any similar profiles since. Thinking back, his pic didn’t look like a 14 yo. You just don’t know who’s out there.
  24. Made my 2nd visit to “Prime Men Spa”. There were 3 masseurs working. Based on @JSRCWY report, I asked for Will, a medium built Asian with average good looks. He gave me an excellent massage & was very professional. He has soft hands/ fingers and likes to tease you with that tickle massage. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was so relaxing that when I returned home I fell asleep. The place is very clean but small. I saw only 2 rooms for massage. The noise issue with the rooms is that the walls do not go up to the ceiling leaving an opening between the rooms. As a result you do hear everything in the next room. There was no issue this time finding a parking spot. However, I didn’t feel I got my full hour and mentioned this to Adam who works behind the desk. Both Leo and Will give very good massages but do have slightly different techniques. And, like @JSRCWY, I left smiling with a complimentary bottle of water & some wrapped candies.
