Hahaha. Naw, he was a good roommate for the most part, he just had occasional moments of cluenessness. He'd just gotten out of a relationship where his partner handled EVERYTHING, and he had to learn to live on his own. I've had many two-legged roommates I was sad to see move on.

I had a crush on the quarterback in high school, and thinking back in later years, I thought he might have been flirting with me in journalism class. Fast-forward to our 20-year reunion, and he's still got the same late 70's haircut, flirting with all the former cheerleaders, and overdone with bad cologne. It killed that memory.

I had one of those syringe/injectors to inject flavor inside the turkey before cooking. I came home one day to find it on the bathroom sink. I asked my roommate and he said he'd gotten one of those ear cleaning kits but the bulb syringe included with it wasn't very strong, so he found the turkey syringe & used it. I bought a new one for the kitchen.

A couple of years ago my cousin-in-law, one of my favorite relatives, declined to come to Christmas dinner. I asked her about it and she said she just felt like a day on the couch binging Sex and the City. I half-envied her.

I just found out there's a sequel to A Christmas Story. Ralphie and the Red Ryder BB gun :-) TNT or TBS or one of those networks typically runs the original continuously Christmas Day, I usually have it on all day while the turkey is roasting. I've set up the sequel to record, I'm wondering if anyone here has seen it?

I am both, but at Cub Scout age, in the late 60's, I wasn't aware that I was either yet. I actually realized atheist first, I think. My Dad stopped going to church when I was about 11, I stopped a year or two later and Dad's not going undermined Mom's urging me to go.

I've lived alone (well, I've had roommates on & off all my life) for going on 40 years now, so it's not a big deal to me. My sister hosts a big Thanksgiving and it's been getting bigger. The year her sister-in-law stole (her words) the dinner from her, I skipped and spent Thanksgiving alone. If my sister ups the headcount again I may start skipping, we'll see how the 17-person event goes this year. Besides, I have my dog, and this year I am dog-sitting her best dog friend, so I'm not really alone :-D
