MikeBiDude reacted to josh282282 in Yet another warning about deposits
Hi JB_Studio38/ Mocha/Jarrod_uncut (and all the other names you have had on this platform in the past- there have been many)
No. I, and my fellow client colleagues, are not willing to be "on call" with money for you when escorting is not working out financially for you. Although I do NOT wish you or any other escort financial harm, we are not responsible for your solvency. But to you and all escorts in the world: I'm hopeful you prosper. You provide a wonderful service to the community.
Ah, you are not satisfied with my advice? Allow me to elaborate. You and I are both business men. Similar fields, albeit with a few differences. I'm a physician. You are an escort. We are both seek to ...heal our clients (or patients). As a physician I have high overhead costs in maintaining my office: support staff salaries, my office rent, my exorbitant malpractice premiums, to name a few, costs which rise yearly which is alarming & frustrating. And just like you, before I take home one dollar, ALL my overhead MUST be paid first. Heck, I was hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical school debt before I even got paid to see my first patient! Yes, I genuinely understand your predicament. I live it daily. But when a business informs the client this is my fee, BUT then says, "oh, I also need a deposit", um, yah, no. Or the escort says, "Oh, I need you to pay my Uber". Also a big Nope. See, all of my overhead AND my own salary AND (this is the critical point I fear you dont understand) the cost of the lost revenue is wrapped up in the fee I charge for that office visit. You think patients call, make an appointment to see me and don't show up? It happens DAILY. Every physician has no-shows. You think patients get a bill (after I provide them medical services) from me and always send a payment? Nope. I get patients who stiff me ALL.THE.TIME. But that loss is factored IN to my fees. That's Business. I don't charge multiple fees. I have protocols that attempt to minimize loss. For example: two no-shows and my staff informs the patient they are discharged from the practice. You think you are the only businessman who takes risks and experiences financial loss? Think again. I don't come to this platform and bitch & whine & come across as a lunatic because my patients stiff me. Rather, I focus on my wonderful patients who stay, pay, and make it all worth while.
To all escorts: keep providing your excellent services. Stay professional. Continue to hone your craft. Keep detailed reports of what's not working. For what's not working focus on strategies to minimize loss and maximize profit. You are an escort to make MONEY - there is nothing wrong with that! So am I. But demanding fees (deposits or Ubers) will ultimately turn away good clients & make you seem unprofessional. Good clients (like me) stay away from escorts like that. Including staying away from JB_Studio38/ Mocha/Jarrod_uncut. Asking for a fee makes you look sketchy. Its a bad look.
Love to all,
Josh

Deposits take many forms. Reminds me of experience with a 30-something “twink” still operating in New Orleans. Apologizing in advance for the sour grapes, but sometimes the best reinforcement comes from true stories.
Days before our first meet, he had a crisis with his mini storage contents being auctioned for non payment unless he had $181 by 5PM.
I sent the money - cha ching - plus a bit Total $250.
As the date approached a couple days later, “the vet was too expensive so now I don’t have the money to replace the tire to make the drive to your house.” I sent the money plus a bit - cha ching - another $250…I accidentally sent twice…so then I’m $750 into an overnight that has yet to happen.
He did show for our for our first meeting…if I recall about 2 hrs late…but I was doubting until he rolled into the driveway
Within 24 hrs of his arrival at my house, this situation started a spiral into the most dramatic chaos you could imagine. In the end, over the next 30 days, the “deposit” turned into $3,300 (to avoid eviction, groceries, ransoming his car from the impound lot for unpaid tickets….) that was to be repaid at $100/wk. of course, he missed a couple of planned engagements as well for lame excuses. Naturally, I’ve not seen a dime and his situation seems to have spiraled further out of control rendering him completely untrustworthy to me.
So, first, I own the fact that I allowed myself to be hustled. But let’s call it what it is:
- outsized deposits rooted in chaotic life management issues are not the mark of a professional and are a major red flag
- life’s too short to get pulled into someone else’s drama
A token deposit for a well reviewed professional gentleman is a valid business tool for them and evidence of good faith from you - particularly if they have costs to get to you. But when the request is rooted in a shaggy dog story to make you feel like an a$$hole if you say no, then it’s likely a hustle. Just say “no” and cancel the plans. If you’re conflicted about it, PM me for moral support
As to this situation, I’d be more forgiving and tolerant if he’d made even a token attempt to repay. But his attitude is one of entitlement because I had the money to “give” so he shouldn’t have to repay. Such is the mark of the hustler who doesn’t have the standing to get a legitimate deposit but still wants money upfront.

Yes , still got one of the body on porn industry. But despite that, he behaves like a perfect girlfriend if you feel like it.

The edit option only shows up a short time after you post the comment.
Most forums do that on purpose… some of the reasons are:
Prevent abuse. Without limits, someone could post something normal, get replies, then edit it later into something completely different. That can make the whole thread confusing.
Keep discussions consistent. Once people start replying, the forum wants the original message to stay mostly the same so the conversation still makes sense.
Reduce moderation problems. If edits were unlimited, people could sneak in spam, insults, or links after the comment was already reviewed.
So the short delay or limited edit window is basically a small guardrail that helps keep conversations cleaner and easier to moderate.

Has anyone else become "invested" after seeing ginger "Alex" in the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management TV commercial?

@Vegas_Millennial always misreads things in posts deliberately and comments based on his misreading of them for effect here. He knows what he's doing and reads the room quite well.
