Nor do I. It’s as easy as explaining that his schedule is full and he can’t take new clients if that is truly the case. I’ve had well-reviewed masseurs tell me as much and never batted an eye. We can try another time. Not to rattle my cane around too much but I don’t remember it being quite this bad when I first started hiring. I’m not sure when things such as common courtesy went so far by the wayside.

This has pretty much been my experience with Carson. Massage is fine, he’s a nice guy, but things don’t build over time. It’s the same medium pressure massage with mechanical ending. I moved on as well.

I always operate under the assumption that sensual most likely means partially unclothed, undraped, with more titillating touches added that include the inner thighs and glutes. If something occurs past that I’m pleasant surprised but exceeds my baseline expectations. Erotic, to me, means both client and therapist are unclothed, the masseur incorporates more erotic and sensual touch at the expense of a truly therapeutic massage, and a HE is had by the client. I do not expect oral, anal, or anything that strays beyond an erotic massage technique and an HE. Again, if something additional occurs I’m happy to indulge. I think that my baseline expectations are reasonable for the type of massage I’m booking and if a therapist balks at those descriptions it’s usually a red flag that I’m about the be offered an a la carte menu or be subjected to someone who only knows how to scratch a back with a moisturized hand for an hour while flexing their quads in short shorts. In that case, I would definitely pass.

Must’ve been the “event” he was preparing for. I wish the ones who graduated to escort would stop advertising on rentmasseur. I’m tired of wading through established and aspiring escorts while trying to find a skilled massage therapist who also happens to work nude. *brandishes cane*

I am so sorry you went through this. I’ve had a similar situation happen with one provider and I pretty much resolved it the same way. It’s a horrible feeling to feel unsafe in strange, dirty surroundings. I am also disturbed by the fact that he is a forum member here and is somehow quasi-shielded by that. Were I you I would absolutely call him out on here and on RM. Let him explain himself. You do future clients of his a disservice by not warning them of the possibility of ending up in that same, unsafe situation.

Same. I had a massage from him 10-11 years ago. Many of those pics were the same then and he said they were from a trip 5 years before that.

I often reach out to masseurs last minute due to the nature of my own schedule and career. It’s hard for me to carve out time days in advance and have it still be there when the time comes. I am never offended when they aren’t available. I also notice a lot of providers who mention something along the lines of “same day appointments only.” So every provider has their own way of dealing with the vagaries of client availability, I suppose.

To some masseurs, “sensual” means they occasionally brush an ass cheek with their fingertips on their way to your hamstrings.

If the reverse were true and you were moving on to another masseur, would you provide an explanation to your current one? Have you never hired another masseur while continuing to see this one? Despite the sensual nature of these transactions they are business and neither party owes the other anything except money paid for services rendered. As others have said, it sounds like this struck a personal note with you and exploring that a bit further might provide you with some insight. I’ve had masseurs move on for many reasons. Sometimes they tell me, sometimes they disappear. Either way, I wish them well and move on to the next provider, most likely muttering at the inconvenience of searching for another provider I gel with.

I just don’t understand why some providers send their protectors on to this site to defend their “honor.” Assuming it’s not the provider themselves, of course. A simple, upfront, dignified acknowledgment of a checkered past and reformed present would go much farther with me than the screeching and hand wringing of these white knights.

James is great. Good massage and a great personality. He did not get completely nude but his body is great and on display. I would hire him again.

I hired Jon last year before I discovered all of the forum write ups on him. He was kind during the massage and even invited touch though he stayed clothed. The massage was good and he didn’t venture into the political spectrum in his discussions. I was shocked to find out what others had experienced with him and it’s made me wary of booking him again even though my experience was positive.
