  1. How odd that he only offers 90 or 120 minute sessions. His price point is actually really good when you take that into account. $260 for two hours is $130 an hour. I’d do it.
  2. I can second Candle Spa. I haven’t been in a while but I was always guaranteed a great massage in a nice environment.
  3. Second the above. Major attitude and ego. Not worth it.
  4. Rentmasseur account is temporarily frozen.
  5. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/47191/ TheraPete on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com Hello friends! Has anyone been to see this gentleman yet? He seems fairly new based on his profile number and a search for Jordan didn’t bring him up. Any input would be great.
  6. I’ve had much more success lately hiring from masseurfinder and seeing what sensual/erotic services might be on offer after I’ve been assured of getting a great massage. Rentmasseur has become Rentmen Lite lately in my opinion.
  7. Agree to disagree. This client got the response he deserved. I choose to assume that clients who approach the client with respect for his services will be responded to, in kind. You’re choosing to assume the opposite. Either way, there are plenty of fish for both of us in these ever more expensive waters. 🤣
  8. I disagree with this. Haggling is gauche when you are engaging the services of a professional. The client knew the provider’s stated price and tried to get a deal, stating erroneously, and falsely in this day and age that “most of his erotic massages were in the $175 range.” I WISH I could find an erotic massage in LA for $175. If I were the provider, I would have told the client where to go as well. We talk a lot on this board about how providers need to set prices appropriate for their situation and business. This provider did and a client STILL tried to haggle. Bad form.
  9. I’m interested in him as well but I’ve noticed some oddities about that ad that make me hesitate. The incall price being “ask” for one. He also doesn’t list a massage table as a mobile amenity. Lastly, the price being that high for a purely therapeutic massage makes me balk. Love his look though. Hopefully someone has some experience to relay.
  10. This is true. I hadn’t hired in about four months and came back to some significant sticker shock. I am also in the LA market. Thankfully my regulars hadn’t deserted me nor raised their prices on me yet but I won’t be trying out new stock any time soon.
  11. In response to your last paragraph, no, all of those work related expenses(overhead) should not warrant an automatic tip. As the sole proprietor of their enterprise, independent masseurs should be baking the cost of those expenses into their primary fee. Relying on tips to offset overhead is a recipe for disaster and not a client’s responsibility. We are paying for a product, not operations. I trust the masseurs I hire to charge a fee that allows them to operate their business and tip them if they’ve gone above and beyond the promised deliverable. As others have said though, to each their own.
  12. I saw him a couple of weeks ago. His pictures imply a bit more musculature than he had at that time. Definitely has a belly and other physical attributes that were underwhelming. His massage skills were great. He did very deep work on my neck and shoulders and helped to loosen a stress headache I’d had that entire week. He added sensual elements near the end and seemed willing to add more, though I wasn’t wanting to take him up on it.
  13. In my experience, terse, one word replies translate into an equal lack of personality during the appointment. This is a customer service industry. If you can’t be arsed, as a provider, to be personable with prospective clients, go be an accountant.
  14. Re: Colby. Young guy, handsome face. Body definitely as pictured. Massage was a B-/C+ at best and the talk of extras didn’t happen until the massage was almost concluded. I get the feeling that he is new at this and cautious/shy. YMMV of course but I haven’t repeated to see if he loosened up.
  15. He has been around a long time. He called himself Surfer Cody back in the old massagem4m days. I had a massage from him in the late 2000’s and he presented as an affable, smoked-out surfer dude. Those pictures look like him though obviously aged. I recall the massage being decent. I never returned because I don’t like masseurs who are checked out and faded during a session.
  16. I disagree. That’s a ridiculous policy. I guarantee if we, as clients, tried to do the same thing it would not be well received. If he’s that paranoid, it’s time for him to change his vetting process or move on.
  17. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/46195/ This is him on masseurfinder but I noticed that he, like many of the other masseurs have created new profiles, probably to ditch old search results on here and other websites. Agree with the above. Strictly Therapeutic and mediocre. You’re paying to look at a pretty face while it massages you badly.
  18. Have any of you gents jumped on this grenade yet? He seems nice enough over text but I’m hoping someone can attest to his skill before I commit. Sirsamlucas on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com
  19. Same. I was ready to hear about a bad masseur experience. 🤣
  20. Wow… I’m sure he’ll have takers but too rich for my blood.
  21. If you search “Teo” on this forum, you’ll find several comments about him.
  22. Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had sampled the services of the two masseurs linked below? They’re fairly new, it seems, but any info would be appreciated. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/45924/ https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/45090/
  23. I wish that was a feature as well. In a market like LA, it would save me having to scroll through the ones I’ve tried and didn’t like or rejected outright. Oh for a swipe option like Tinder. 😂
