This kind of behavior would have me very reluctant to hire such a masseur again. Every time a masseur has gotten pushy, it hasn’t ended well. As one of the posters above said, it reeks of desperation or other life issues that you don’t need to be a party to. I’ve given one provider permission to message me when he’s available because he is very often booked up so if a slot opens I’ll usually take it. The others I use have been told, gently but firmly, that I’ll reach out when I want an appointment.

I adore Esalen massage. It’s such a luxurious experience. Your body isn’t being pounded or tickled, it’s being gently sculpted. There is an inherent sensuality in the Esalen style as its continuous contact, long strokes, and leaves no stone unturned. If you manage to find a private practitioner, I imagine things could be spiced up. I, like the poster above, often nod off during, so I may sleep through the festivities if more were offered. 🤣

$400 for a fully clothed sensual massage with no HE is crazy. I’m sorry, my friend, but you were taken to the cleaners. 90 minutes notwithstanding, that’s overpromised and under delivered. I’ve hired masseurs recently who did much more for much less, and I don’t have any illusions as to my ability to set their pulse racing with anything but my money. I won’t even begin to comment on him mentioning his engagement during the massage. He was either dishonest when scheduling or dishonest during the massage and neither behavior should be rewarded. I truly hope others aren’t supporting this provider at that price. The LA market is expensive enough.

Yes. I’ve found when engaging with those types of profiles in the past that they either do not respond at all, or they send you a canned text message directing you to their various social media. I’ve taken to disregarding profiles that mention an OF or X for just this reason.

Though I have not had a massage from the gentleman, I can attest that I’ve seen ads of his off and on for quite a few years. He has definitely been around and is not new.

I remember my massage from Shane from around that time frame as well. He was more twinkish back then, not muscled like today. It was surreal because he seemed so fragile. Or maybe you need to sit your entitled self down. Next time you respond to me, do it with courtesy and choose your words more wisely. If a provider can be at your door two hours after contacting them, that’s immediate. I am of the mind that neither the client nor the provider should ask for more outside of the professional relationship while services are being engaged. It makes for an unequal dynamic right from the get go. Although we have some anecdotal evidence on this site of such situations working out, most of them end as @Simon Suraci and other have said: awkwardly. The reverse is true too. I’ve had to have a couple of uncomfortablw conversations with a provider or two who wanted to have dinner or have sex outside of the agreed upon session. It changes things for the worse, usually, so proceed with caution.

Oh please. It’s not penny pinching. It’s expecting a provider to know their costs of operation and build it into their fee. I’m not going to wrestle with booking an Uber for a provider who is a big boy and should know how to provide transportation for himself. Truth be told, I’ve only been asked once to cover an Uber ride and I declined to. When I was a contractor, I provided my own transportation and wrote it off. While the escorts may have difficulties with that, the masseurs could and should be deducting mileage and other expenses. Then again, I’m usually not inclined to hire a 23 year old who slapped his pic on a website and decided to get paid for being pretty. Those providers are the ones asking to be chauffeured, not the true professionals, I would surmise.

Man I wish I’d tried him when he was in LA. Alas!
