no expert here, but, based on your stated goals just above, you may just need to start eating better and do some daily cardio (45-60 minutes of breathing hard) for a few months (or, better, for life).....weight training (the gym) is always a good thing, but it probably isn't the sole thing that will help you with your goals

also, have you talked to a doctor about your concerns?

I apologize for feeding the troll, but, again, I'll say the large majority of the reviews you cited were "average" or better......and most were above average......and, again, I ask what has got you so upset about St Catherine St??....(you've never answered this)......your prolonged obsession with this utterly less-than-compelling concern is unusual......the FACT is that most people are evidently very happy with the district.......

Lucas it is safe to say that no one on this site should presume to tell you how to operate your business. How you do that is totally up to you and you alone. However, the one thing you should have learned, by now, is that virtually nobody on this site is sympathetic to or understanding of the manner in which you do business. Probably the best advise anybody here could give you is continue doing business as you see fit but don't waste your time posting here.

    Hi Lucas.

I'm a board certified physician. I graduated from a top quartile US medical school and residency program (I dont say that to brag, but to assure you I'm no under-achiever & actually know what I'm talking about). I've practiced Medicine for years. I've personally worked directly with & come across many physician colleagues and neither myself nor any of my peers have ever asked for a deposit. You are simply wrong.

It's not about trust, sir. This is Business. The restaurant gets paid AFTER the meal. The Accountant gets paid after doing the clients taxes. And the Barber. And the housekeeper. And the Uber driver. And the physician like myself (see above). The list goes on & on. Guess what: you are also on that list, too. You get paid AFTER services rendered, not before.

I'm sorry you had to go thru this, Lucas. No one deserves to be treated this way.

You write the conversation got "heated", so ask yourself, as a professional, what part did you contribute to this debacle? Please reflect on specifically what you said and how (if at all) it added to the tension of this encounter gone bad. Please reflect with deep self honesty. I'm a professionaland & I've had to go this exercise in my career and no, it's not fun, but its important for growth. Clearly you need some, um, professional growith, also.

    Um, what does that matter.....????
You sound really privileged, like you are demanding White Privilege. Just sounds bad all around. Like a pro-Trump supporter from the Alt-Right marching on Charlotesville. Please come to this forum and explain this statement cuz I'm sure you wouldn't want potential clients (like me) thinking you are a bigot. But I'm very open to a logical, non-racist explanation of your statement.

Sorry man, but you cant rely on your clients for fiscal safety. Going out of town as an escort with all the extra expenditures that accrue are the risks YOU take as a BUSSINESSMAN. Trying to get clients to shoulder this risk will only get you a bad response (see this entire thread for an example), as you are learning.

Wait, you wont trust us clients to pay but you expect us to trust that you a "man of his word"? We dont know you from Adam. Expecting us to believe/trust you on that is ridiculous and fantastical thinking on your part. Get over yourself, Mr Businessman. Guess what? I practice what I preach. I see a patient in my office and then bill accordingly and I sometimes DONT get paid, believe it or not. But it's part of my budget- I plan on a (small) percentage of unpaid bill's. It's called the Cost of Doing Business. Dude, take some business classes.

No, you tarnished it yourself. From all you have said here, I know I'll never hire you. I NEVER pre-pay. Nor do my friends.

No, it isn't. It's for clients, like me, to have a method and strategy to expose jerks and rough-trade who may harm us fiscally, emotionally or even physically. Are YOU one of those?

I am fearful of the answer.

Can't think of anything better than your plan to find a therapist to work through these concerns that are distressing you. It's not uncommon to try more than one therapist to find one you click with. It's worth the trouble.

The only other thing I'd suggest is to not beat yourself up about the path you've taken to get to this point. Fact is, it got you here. Rather than destroying yourself, it sounds like you're on the road to renewing yourself. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.png

i think you are missing the very essence of taking possession of the power of "color" in a white supremacist society as being a tool to proclaim one's difference as a source of power, strength, and identity rather than devaluing notions of color as being "just like everyone else". persons of color can be of many shades, indeed... but a person's color is a social construct and if it can be turned on its head to be a source of power shared by people who are not-white, all power to it.

assimilation is not power. whiteness is bullshit.

At the risk of repeating what the previous three posters wrote... After a long day of meetings and presentations requiring me to be authoritative, argumentative and on point, that evening I chose tantricshaman from the many available options for a massage. Our session was exactly what I needed. It was different from my first time with him but I left with the same feeling of a kind of high and release, both sensual and mental. The session was powerful and intense, and took me out of my head. The comments on this thread are spot on. I would not recommend for those seeking a traditional sensual or erotic massage experience. For those seeking to go outside the run of the mill and to accept the risk that you and he might not connect (and by that I don't mean to imply "connect" based on physical attraction), I highly recommend. The usual caveat: YMMV.

I have met the gentleman in question, and he is special, but may not be to everyone's liking. And he is aware of that and will tell you upfront if he thinks that hiring him will not be a good thing for you (or for him).

He takes he works as a "healer" very seriously and his table-work in not a traditional massage but if you read his profile carefully you might find that he is appropriate for you.

As for my experience, after some initial misgivings I found him to be quite worth my time. (And the HE definitely was part of my experience but in a way that, in retrospect, made more "sense" than most.)

    But definitely not for everyone.

I used to be very into Puerto Rican’s when I was high school, but now I kind of let them come to me first if they want me. Many of the ones in central Florida can be pretentious and dismissive. I’m talking to a guy now and he’s Columbian. He is much more humble than the Puerto Rican’s I’ve come across here.

Florida in general has “bias” tendencies, despite the many cultures. That’s why I believe you’ll find less in the hicks of Nebraska, than you will in the center of big cities. You hear about the examples in the news. As much as I can try to be positive and still do what I can to enjoy day by day, you have to be a strong person to deal with even the little things out here. And I’m not a 100% mentally strong person at all times and regularly come close to mental breakdowns being out here due to constantly having to encounter (whether it be calls coming from Rentmen, guys at the club, driving on the road, or standing in line at the store) inconsiderate, dismissive, impatient, entitled, phony, plastic, self-absorbed, rude, condescending, fake pretend people out here.
