Age shaving? How much is too much and what's acceptable?
Wings246 replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
If you visit his own website, which is embedded in his RM ad, he lists his birthday as 7/18/1978 (age = 47). That's why I don't take RM profile descriptors too seriously. RAFAEL ALENCAR - ABOUT WWW.RAFAELWORLD.COM -
TASK is NOT Mare of Easttown Season 2
Wings246 replied to samhexum's topic in TV and Streaming services
I feel like it's essentially a "family drama" disguised as a crime/mystery series, depending on how you define family. Regardless, all of the families depicted in the show are seriously f up and dysfunctional. I cannot agree more. I have to keep convincing myself that something important will subtly pops up, so pay attention, pay attention, pay attention. I am waiting and waiting, but nothing too mind-blowing ever happens, which is a major letdown. I don't even find the big reveal of Mark Ruffalo's family catastrophe that overwhelmingly shocking, although I have to commend the performances of the actors & actresses. There is an unshakable air of loss and depression in every character and every scene. The characters are also written with tons of emotional detachments. It's very tough for me to relate to or feel for their tragedies. Anyway, there will only be 2 more episodes (7 episodes total). I can and will invest 2 more hours of my life into seeing how the story ends. -
Have you had self-proclaimed lesbian clients who become straight after spending time with you? If so, it is doubly fabulous indeed! 😜

I’m just as confused as you are. Perhaps I’m way too ignorant in the terminologies and definitions. However, I do see the points made by @Gilfson. I recall my friend once asked, when engaging in a similar discussion on sexuality/identity/orientation, “Do you still call yourself a vegetarian if you eat meat for whatever reasons?” I don’t know and I don’t really care enough to know. My reply was: “You do you. You eat whatever you want whenever and however you want. I can care less.” That said, IMO, if you’re a herbivore, eat your salad; if you’re a carnivore, help yourself with medium rare; and if you’re an omnivore, enjoy your all-you-can-eat buffet. At the end of the day, you may be the only person in this entire universe who cares about how you label yourself.

Can't help but wonder what you are shooting with and what kind of moon you're referring to.......... 😏

When to tell a provider I’m a virgin?
Wings246 replied to Wings246's topic in Questions About Hiring
This is my exact thought. I was hesitant to use the phrase, “training wheel,” because it may sound a bit abusive, condescending, or offensive to some. I am glad to hear a provider describing it this way. I can almost liken the relationship to that of having a personal trainer in the gym: he helps me to start the engine and once I feel comfortable enough, I will go out to drive on my own. I guess it may be difficult for the majority to understand the minority — the middle-aged novice. I bet most of you can’t even begin to imagine how tough it was for me to express myself anonymously here, let alone to place everything in real-life context. To me, at the very least, the providers I met have helped me take the first steps to free myself from my psychological prison. -
When to tell a provider I’m a virgin?
Wings246 replied to Wings246's topic in Questions About Hiring
It’s been 8 months since I started this thread and I realize it was resurrected recently. I was a silent bystander on CoM for a long while before I summoned the courage one day to create an account to pose a question. I did (still do) benefit from reading others’ Q&A so I feel somewhat obligated to answer my own questions to shed some light on the subject I created myself. 1. I did end up telling all the providers I met about my (lack of) experiences beforehand. I am extremely lucky in that they are all kind, understanding, and receptive professionals who accommodate my needs. It is true that there isn’t anything they haven’t seen or heard before. It was silly of me to think that they would be surprised by my full disclosures. 2. All my appointments have been 2-hour long. I am not the bang-bang, hit-and-run type — at least not yet (Who knows? I may evolve into one eventually). I still need the time to gradually ramp up the temperature. So to me, 1 hour would be too rush and stressful. 3. A few providers told me they never hosted for the 1st appointment to prevent letting psychopaths and serial killers/rapists into their homes, which is totally understandable. They prefer to meet in a 3rd party location (e.g. hotel) to assess the sanity of the clients first. Thus, in-call versus out-call is not necessarily the client's choice. Lastly, I do sincerely appreciate everyone’s inputs here. I even find the ones that appear to be sarcastic, bitter, or toxic somewhat amusing and eye-opening. Thanks for your contributions. -
Has anyone hired someone just to talk to?
Wings246 replied to Erbenle's topic in Questions About Hiring
I used to believe I'm the weird outlier who values emotional connections just as much as (if not more than) the physical aspect of sexual contacts. However, after reading the various comments surrounding this topic, it seems like this feeling/desire is more common than I previously assumed. To answer the OP's question directly, yes, I did hire someone just to talk to. Although that is my primary objective, sometimes the conversations and emotional interactions naturally lead to sex afterwards. I suppose that can be interpreted as the essence of a BFE. -
This statement alone is begging for elaborations. I can't help but wonder if it's related to your user ID.

I notice the change today as well. I won't be surprised at all if someone tells me RM has staff who monitor the activities and discussions on this forum to gather (and respond to) unfiltered feedbacks.

Why don’t you give it a try with faceless pictures first to see if you gain any traction? Some providers post only faceless pictures too.

Hiring a low donation provider w/o physical attraction
Wings246 replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
Every once in a while, an Extra Value Meal at McDonald's is all you need. Normal people do not dine at Michelin-starred restaurants every day. -
The main value of RM is for clients and providers to find each other. Does the platform serve other unintended functions? For example, I can imagine people using it as a dating/hookup app. After all, it is a playground for people who share common interests and objectives. 1. Do providers look for other providers for paid and/or unpaid interactions via RM? 2. Do clients look for other clients for paid and/or unpaid interactions via RM?

The timeline of S4 can precede those of S1 to S3. Then all deceased characters can be resurrected. And oh, please do not use the ghost/spirit trope. 😱

Wow, I didn't know you have to endure this kind of nonsense. "Annoying" is an understatement. That's pure torture. You summarize my behaviors perfectly. 😅

Hiring a low donation provider w/o physical attraction
Wings246 replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
So the moral of the story: the ultimate total cost is the same; it's just manifested as a hidden fee elsewhere in the whole experience. It's up to you to decide if the hidden fee is tolerable. -
That's the main reason why I'm adamant about not paying $19.99/month. Is that price tag outrageous? No, not by any means in today's super inflated economy. It just irks me that the middle man, without doing much of anything, is profiting off both sides of the business. I'd much rather bank that $19.99 and use it to tip the providers.

Hiring a low donation provider w/o physical attraction
Wings246 replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
It seems like some of you run into these hidden gems (inexpensive but above-expectation experience). Is it by chance or do you seek them out on purpose? If it's the latter, how and where? And what's your definition of inexpensive? -
Like everybody mentioned above, since I'm just a basic member, Rent.Men no longer displays explicit photos (unless shared privately) whereas Rentmen.eu still retains the previous setup for public viewing. That being said, I prefer the layout of Rent.Men better. The Rentmen.eu layout instantly brings me back to the late 90's when the internet first became popular. The most annoying problem with Rentmen.eu for me is that the photos' thumbnails cannot be blown up to full-size version vs the Rent.Men picture thumbnails immediately launch into full-screen mode when I click on them. I'll admit I'm quite computer illiterate. Do you guys experience the same problem between the 2 sites or am I doing something wrong? I'm still using an old-school desktop with a humongous monitor and I love to see things at their "maximum capacities," if you know what I mean. 😜

Pretty much the same as what happens at work. A software upgrade is always a downgrade, each and every time. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Providers less and less willing to unlock private pics

This reminds me of some people having a full meal for free at Costco.......... 😆 -
Providers less and less willing to unlock private pics
Wings246 replied to ThirdEye's topic in Questions About Hiring
The scam is totally expectable and the providers' pain is completely understandable. That said, why not just do 1 of the followings: 1. Make everything viewable for free 2. Only send the goodies after arrangements are finalized. Then, there will be no incessant approval requests to clear. Honey that is kept in a closed jar will only attract wandering bears. 😁 -
Providers less and less willing to unlock private pics
Wings246 replied to ThirdEye's topic in Questions About Hiring
Then what's the point of posting some "desirable" pics, locking them, and with little to zero intention on unlocking them for potential real clients? Are they just thirst traps to begin with? And what's the definition of "a real client"? Is someone who is willing to book and/or pay a deposit a real deal? Scammers can fake book appointments, get the pics, and then cancel at the last second. Just the thought of that game is exhausting. Which came first: the chicken or the egg? -
Advice to Providers - Compensation for Chatting
Wings246 replied to EastCoastBtm's topic in Questions About Hiring
Do you have any rough idea about the rates that you'll be comfortable with (for texting / chatting / video gaming, etc.)? And will the rates vary based on the locations of the providers? What you are asking for, in a strange way, is analogous to work-from-home arrangements. We all know people who WFH receive less compensations than those who have to work at the office (just like in-call and out-call rates are different). It is then determined by geographical and other cost-of-living factors. I think setting up an agreeable rate and acceptable parameters for the interactions may be challenging. -
So at the end, he is not worth an extra $50 to $100, which makes me wonder: is he that over-the-top delicious as you described in the first place?
