  1. I have arrived back home and wanted to say how great it was joining the others in Washington this weekend. I don't think I could provide a better summary that @purplekow, so I will not attempt to do so. And thank you @ArVaGuy for your masterful coordination. To the others in attendance, thank you for joining. Until the next time....
  2. I always love a good spreadsheet and charts. It is also fun to think about being represented on the chart.
  3. Bags are packed - - see folks there.
  4. When going in for an appendectomy, the only thing I was thinking about was "what is taking so long to get this thing out?"
  5. Scarlet and grey - - is that the only reason you posted this photo?
  6. What time are we thinking of gathering there?
  7. I subscribed because of this thread. Yes it is, and I love it.
  8. Confession time: I've so enjoyed following this thread, I subscribed to the NYT so that I can play every evening when I get home from work. I also subscribed to the daily headlines newsletter so I can be more aware of the headlines by the time I get to the office.
  9. Great recommendation from TBT: But to keep things simple - there are two organized events and all you need to do is answer one question about each to know whether you would like to attend. (1) Saturday dinner - - would you enjoy cocktails and dinner with a group of about 40-50 men with casual conversations about this hobby and current events? (2) Sunday pool party - - would enjoy attending a private party at our host's rented home with a group of escorts and clients where some folks are comfortable being poolside with skimpy swimwear and less? I first attended three years ago and it has become a "spring break" of sorts for me. The rest of the time spent is whatever one wants to make of it, from taking advantage of the many good restaurants, attending some of the gay bars, catching up on reading poolside or talking with other guests (that may or may not be attending this event) at whichever hotel/resort you've selected, going to the gym, shopping, time at the casino, or getting a massage. Sometimes things are done alone, but other times someone lets folks know that he is planning to go to bar x after dinner Saturday and 10 or so wind up going there.
  10. Thanks for the update.
  11. In my experience, brothers that grew up together typically are very comfortable with being nude together having often either sharing a bathroom growing up or in the locker room. Being naked in a 'sexual situation' may be a different story.
  12. I was only able to meet Chris Eisenhower once, shortly before he retired from the business.
  13. I've found that some escorts get lazy about updating the text of the ad. There's one guy I saw advertising yesterday whose text still lists his travel dates for November even though he is back in his home town.
  14. Happy New Year! Often kindness and honesty are conflicting. When my mother asks if I like her new blouse, I can respond with kindness saying, "your smile tells me you like it very much" versus truthfully "the pattern is busy and makes me dizzy." I find kindness is easy to choose when honesty can be hurtful on things that don't matter.
  15. When I'm in NYC, I schedule an appointment at Hush. I've had several appointments - originally for nose waxing and massage, and lately moved on to sugaring my back and butt. https://www.hushmanhattan.com/
  16. How about rabbi and barb?
  17. There's one fine gentleman I've wanted to meet for quite some time. We had arranged for him to visit me last weekend. I awoke the morning of his arrival with a cough. I immediately contacted him with the information and let him know I didn't think it was anything, but I wanted to disclose the situation before he got on the plane. Given his plans for the holidays, we decided to cancel and will reschedule for a future date.
  18. When we've had co-workers pass, we often initiate a call tree to inform those that need to know. Usually the colleague closest to the deceased knows the most people that need to know. Rather than having to call 50 people to inform them of someone's passing, one might call perhaps six to ten people and ask each to call others they know to help reduce the time it takes to get everyone informed. As I look at it, if the "different co-worker" asked someone to call you, and you were called, then the "different co-worker" was being respectful to you. Perhaps calling him out was out of line.
  19. I tend to alternate between a jock and compression shorts without any rhyme or reason behind which I choose to wear, other than if I'm doing a long walk in colder temps, I'll wear compression tights that tend to keep me a little warmer on the walk.
  20. Can I be the fourth?
  21. I had my head in the sand when I lived in Indianapolis.
  22. Consider Ashland, OR. I have relatives that have retired there and enjoy it. And they have a strong summer theater program.
  23. Happy Birthday!
  24. Check out this thread at the top of "The Lounge" 2020 Palm Springs Weekend! #17
