  1. My mind is busy imagining the encounter at the door 21 minutes ago.
  2. Its easy to conflate the two but men who go to the saunas aren't typically escort clients, who are generally older and willing to pay vastly higher fees than found at the typical gay sauna. My sauna cruising days are a couple of decades behind me now that I am in my 70s. I only see escorts for fun and play.
  3. There is an old saw in investing that says never try to catch a falling knife.
  4. You must be very old. My grandmother drove cars from the 1920's till her death during WWII. All were standard gearshift and the early ones did not have syncromesh. I have a letter of hers describing her first drive in a Cadillac that had automatic transmission in 1942. Unfortunately she died before she could get one for herself.
  5. More skin to cover?
  6. At least if it doesn't go well, you have soneone else to blame other than yourself. Except for agreeing to do it in the first place. Anyway, good luck.
  7. People of my generation got the smallpox vaccination in grade school and it left a scar on the shoulder where it was administered. Apparently it conferred lifetime immunity to smallpox and didn't need boostering. Experts I've read are also saying that it should be somewhat effective against Monkeypox.
  8. I'm glad we have at least one ethical doctor on this forum, Purplekow, who always demonstrates reasonable judgment and sagacity. It's best to ignore the other frequent poster who has revealed his true character in recent months.
  9. How things have changed in the stock markets (and bond and cryptomarkets) in just the last month. Everything is looking dire and losses are staggering already. Nasdaq and tech stocks are in the sewer, blue chips are heading in the same direction and bonds are a bust. Bitcoin is down 50 percent in just a few months. How are people feeling who are actively invested in these markets? Me, I'm heavily invested in cash and have been so for some time now since valuations in all categories were going crazy.
  10. This issue is getting a lot of media attention here in Canada where the first dozen or more cases have centred in Montreal amongst gay men. The expert doctors in infectious tropical diseases say it originates in Africa and there are two types of the disease. One is from West Africa and is milder and the more serious form is from the Congo. The less serious version has a mortality rate of 1 percent or one in a hundred. There is no effective treatment but a smallpox vaccination can confer about 75 percent protection. The spread is by intimate contact such as touching sores on skin but not sexual so not considered an STI. One can contract it from shared clothes or bedding as the virus lives outside the animal host. The symptoms are fever and painful rash and postules breaking out on the skin, especially around the genitals and extremities like hands. The condition can last for several weeks and patients must isolate. Bottom line, you don't want to get it. My conclusion is that this will put a damper on the lapdance industry in Montreal, especially in gay bars. Also could crimp the escort biz until more is known about the spread of this disease.
  11. Ad says he's a top but one reviewer states he will bottom. That reviewer posted 3 reviews, all positive like all the others.
  12. I heard on the 6 o'clock news that there are 13 reported cases in Quebec, that the US announced its first case in a man from Boston who had been in Montreal recently, and they are linking this disease to gay men. This reminds me earily of 1980 when I was visiting San Francisco and stories of a "gay" disease started to circulate. We all know how that turned out. While this disease does not appear to be anything new, its spread to northernmost countries is new. Also the report tonight said there is no effective treatment but that a smallpox vaccination could help. Just reporting the news here. Nothing to laugh about but needs to be kept in perspective.
  13. Another reason is when a celebrity like Matt Damon says you should invest in crypto-currencies in a paid ad.
  14. I just read an account in the CBC news that cases of monkeypox, similar to smallpox, but spread initially by animals, have affected a number of British gay and bi men. Some of these are related to travel to Lisbon, Portugal and others to Africa. The good news is that there is treatment available but it still sounds nasty. It can be spread through intimate contact including sexual intercourse.
  15. I remember that song as it was a hit in Europe where I lived at the time. We all went to discos and it was played often. However I never got the lyrics and what they were about. Like a lot of music at the time the message got subsumed by the tunes. Other hits' lyrics were more in your face like I am What I Am or I will Survive.
  16. I would add that in this medical day-and-age there is no reason why someone who is HIVpos and on ART cannot remain healthy and not be a threat to his sexual partners. With the caveat he should be open to them about his HIV status.
  17. I have been with Trev several times and I wouldn't say he was a brutal top with me. Top definitely but kisses and is really a sweatheart. Very upscale and you can go anywhere with him.
  18. I know Leo as Jake and have been with him several times, once an overnight. I agree he is very intelligent, super friendly, kinky in a nice way, and can dress up to go to a fancy restaurant or wear leather gear in anorher mileu. I understand he's going back to Toronto in June, which is what he told me a month or so ago from PV. He mentioned the photo shoots he has been doing but I didn't know it was with Lucas.
  19. I have to say my guys are pretty punctual and when there are delays because of traffic or unavoidable issues they always text me about the problems and give accurate revised eta's. I attribute this to the fact I hire quality providers who are reliable and professional. I check their reviews before hiring which help me in my decision making.
  20. When was the last time you apologized for being wrong? Like saying the vaccinated couldn't transmit the virus. And omicron was so mild nobody was dying from it. In both cases you were proved wrong but never acknowledged it.
  21. The article you quoted states the symptoms may persist from the initial illness. So we'll see.
  22. A young woman of my acquaintance contracted Covid over three weeks ago from her young child who was not vaccinated _( under 5). The child got it from her nanny. Now this young mother has developed long Covid and can't shake the symptoms. She has no underlying conditions. This is not like your everyday cold.
  23. Just to be clear, plenty of people are getting seriously ill and ending up in hospital. Some are dying. The disease is on the upturn in the US. Your math is suspect. I trust my grasp of reality, something you don't seem to have.
  24. A 20 percent rise in hospitalizations in the last two weeks is not "barely budging" as you would have it. The usual pattern of denial and obfuscation by retired "Doctor".
  25. A day later new cases are now up 58 percent from 50 yesterday (14 day average). At this pace a new wave will soon materialize. Hospitalizations are up a Percent from yesterday.
