You may not be everyone's cup of tea, but chances are you're someone's. Escorts come in all shapes, sizes and niches. I know guys who are average at best who are cleaning-up financially. Even more so than the modelesque guys or porn stars. Just experiment in your city and charge a reasonable rate (200-250) and go from there.

Unfair, yes. I was shocked when I found out how well your average white escort does compared to nonwhites. But at this point, my reaction is *shrug.* We are working to build a more inclusive, integrated society where nonwhites won't be devalued. In the meantime, black guys have to be twice as good and work twice as hard to get a fraction of the recognition that a thoroughly average white guy gets. With the possible exception of professional sports, it's true across American culture. In gay culture that means black escorts, black fashion models, black go-go dancers, etc are going to have a tougher time.

We are at a cultural inflection point on this issue. The success of Black Panther has proven false the industry's standard go-to excuse: "There just isn't a MARKET for blacks, so my representation has to be 99.99% white....I can't have more than one black guy on my model agency's roster because of the MARKET...I *have* to relegate black guys to fetished separate but equal ghetto porn beause the MARKET won't accept black guys as a boy next door type" etc. It's never been about the market. There's a market for anything with enough industry support. It's always been about segregation, who gets support and resources, and who is denied support and resources.
 
There will be a better market for black escorts once American society is more integrated and less insane about race. But we are still three or four decades from the day when a truly hot black guy gets as much attention as a certain horsefaced white twink already can around these parts.
