I don't know what Black society thinks. I'd be curious to know what Black members think. I've never met a grown man who isn't keenly aware of his body odor. I believe there used to be a men's cologne called Musk back in the day, maybe the 70's? It was cheap and awful. Personally, I don't equate the word musky with unclean. Five minutes after a shower and my pits stink, without doing anything. I've encountered a lot of men who seemed to love my "clean" pit scent, especially in my bathhouse days. I remember my gym days (pre-Covid), when you got some serious dose of varied body scents after workouts. Some men's scents were a challenge to stomach, while others were intoxicating, and would cause some stiff woodies. I find manscent a turn-on, and ask all my masseurs to work on me naked and raw. But the turn-on factor really does depend on the individual. When I saw this guy's photo, my mind went to some serious stink. But maybe he smells sexy as all hell, and he loves his scent and the reaction it gets from those with this fetish.

What am I talking about? Really? Masseuse is a female provider, while masseur is a male. Perhaps this Brazilian is considering a sex change?

    "Hey,
I’m a Brazilian guy, friendly, honest and a really great masseuse."
No wonder some of the members get confused with gender. Some of the providers are confused as well.

If EVdude found 6 masseurs using the first pic, what are the odds that the pic actually belongs to this guy?
I really can't tolerate the guys who use fake photos. It just screams fraud to me. It's an automatic no-go. I can only imagine the number of customers who don't care and book anyway. These ads are not cheap.

It would be foolish to expect it, but it sure is nice when the masseur jumps on it for the sheer pleasure.
I was thinking the same thing. One guy I had many years ago did a superb massage. Soon after he rolled me over, he positioned himself into 69 and swallowed me whole. That was a surprise sight and feeling I have never forgotten. Soon after that, he sat on me in a squat. I remember marveling at his leg muscles. The guy is long gone from NYC. Haven't had anyone like him since.

It's amazing to me how many guys leave questions unanswered. I ask three specific questions, nothing to do with sex, and often, I'll get a reply back with only one answer. I don't get it. If you can't (or won't) tell me what kind of massage cream you use, then I move on. I stopped repeating my unanswered questions long ago. It gets too tiring. I move on fairly quickly. Too many not-serious people out there.

If the website doesn't allow for this, then it is shit. Tips are extremely personal, and can vary wildly, depending on very private decisions. No one should post a payment amount that includes a tip, because it can make the masseur look like a liar and a cheat to other potential customers. Even though differing prices may be the masseur's reality (given the number of options he offers), the final numbers should not include tip. They could remedy this by simply providing a slot for tip amount.

Absolutely full flow. For the entire duration, I prefer at least one warm hand to never leave my body. If he must let go, let him do it with sensitivity and meaning, and by all means, never ever let the hand that touches me naked be cold.
Absolutely spot on. I prefer to let the masseur pick the music, since his energy and spirit rule the hour. Some guys have surprised me, and turned me on to new artists. I don't recall ever having anyone make a bad music choice.

He says he has never charged $200. $180 x 7 = 1,260 a week. I don't know anyone who works a 7-day week. It's quite challenging to live in NYC on $65,000 a year. In order to do that, you need a rent stabilized apartment.

Well, no wonder he's a dud. When you count the number of monthly customers you need to satisfy that number alone, that's a ton of stress. Even if you love what you do, stress will kill the love. No one can have a happy life if the fight for rent is a daily chore. I can't think of a better way to burn out.

That's pretty much how a forum works.
If true, that is impressive. I do admire when someone comes here to respond to comments and criticism. Nobody's perfect.

This is certainly the category that I fall into. Pros who do sensual work are difficult to find, primarily because professionals risk losing their license if they are caught (reported) for doing sensual/sexual work. Training and licensing are not cheap, so I understand why many wish to play it safe. If you lose your license, you close the door on so many work opportunities. For this reason, I understand the need to read between the lines. The may be the only venue where that is possible.

That does seem strange to me. Most of the guys who advertise on the gay massage sites are not professionals. Most of the customers here seem to be looking for a HE, or more versions of sex. I don't understand why anyone would expect professional behavior from a non-professional. It's a fantasy.

Just wanted to say, I have decades of pro-massage experience (in a spa, but mostly my home) and most of the issues in this thread are alien to me.
Behavior may not be "typical," but provider mood can make a difference, and people's moods can change on dime.
Generally speaking, I agree with Rod Hagen, people who love their job are oftentimes not motivated by money. OTOH, I once knew a talented masseur who did not enjoy the work. He basically did not like people. He got into massage at an early age, thinking it might be easy money. He eventually raised his prices because he needed the money to motivate him. He's still doing massage, and now limits his customers to no more than two a day. A lot of people in America would like to earn $600 a day.
