I agree totally with this.  It took a bit of trial and error, but I have met a few guys I see over and over.  The best traits I have found with them are:
1. Just be a nice person when you communicate.  Even if someone pisses me off, I still take a be nice approach.  I completely despise one or two word responses or jumping at me immediately with your fee before any discussion.  Everyone I see regularly started things off on the right foot from the beginning.
2. If you have a seriously interested client, try working with them on logistics.  I live in the suburbs and getting to the big city for a meet is very difficult, but I am more than willing to host at a nice hotel if they come to me.  And several do and I always compensate by slipping in some extra gas $$ and booking a session longer than one hour.
3. Show up clean and showered and be nice to your escort.  I have gotten a lot more than was advertised by simply not being high maintenance and simply making them feel relaxed when they meet me.
I rarely ever have a bad encounter because if things start off good, they generally tend to continue that way.

I have found that if you book more than once, providers will not only travel to you, but charge their incall rate.
If it is a one time connection, you just have to deal with it.  If it is someone you really like and you both connect well, I find they are happy to work with you.
