There are many advertisers who spell out clearly that the best way to reach them, and in some cases, only good way to reach them, is to send a text. I wonder if because e-mail spam is at epidemic levels, having a buzz or an alert on their end that an e-mail was received goes largely ignored. Or, it isn't, but my message is flagged as spam since it's coming from an unknown source to them, and that could be why I don't get a response. E-mail is my favorite method of contact, and I greatly appreciate the extremely rare providers that are willing to see me without having to use my phone. To some, my question about this might be as dumb as "Why can't I find a car that has a cassette deck player in it?", but to each their own. However, nearly every advertiser who has an e-mail contact doesn't reply at all to my inquiry, or on occasion, responds many weeks later, replying, "You should've texted me. I only check my e-mails occasionally, and sorry we couldn't connect."

I gave a gift card as a gratuity, or so I thought.
viewing ownly replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
That makes sense then, Thelatin, as you know these people well enough to be on a social, card exchange basis. I've only seen this person once. All the advice has been helpful. Leaving well enough alone with the provider as well as the card seems to be the right move here, so the card will just empty itself of the load eventually. Yes, I just typed that, and sorry, CuriousByNature, not with THIS card. 😄 -
Fortunately, this year on sales racks, the "loaded credit" cards clearly state THIS IS NOT A GIFT CARD. I wish those were on these imposters from the get-go. I bought one last year and gave it to a provider, assuming I was purchasing a gift card. Then, to my horror, I received a different card in the mail with that same account number! Now over a year later, I called to check the balance, and it was unused. Mailing the gift card to this guy is an obvious no-no, as any mail contact with any provider is highly inexcusable, since I'm a stranger. If the rare circumstance would find me in his presence again (due to his distant location, not because of my experience), should I give him the same gift and explain what happened, chalk it up to a $25 loss, or do nothing and use it for myself, since he'd likely never know?

Self-describing advertisers as a man or a boy
viewing ownly posted a topic in Questions About Hiring
Does what one refers to themselves as make a difference in whether you are off-put by boys instead of men? I know that the whole "daddy" thing is a thing unto itself. There is clearly a distinction with "I have a penis, therefore I'm a boy", and being under the opinion that once you're of age wherever that is, you're not considered a boy anymore. Right along with being a "daddy", there's being a "boy-toy" - I'm unfamiliar with "man-toy" as a thing, but maybe next year have that be a thing? -
Anyone been to this cruising spot in Desert Hot springs?

That's a LOT of 5's! Not my residence, but most of those numbers constitute my height & erect penis length & girth. 😜 -
New Years' Eve on tv hasn't been the same since she's been jettisoned from it.

This is important to this discussion. When an advertiser has their list of likes, is everything for them already pre-listed, or does an effort need to be made to either check boxes on purpose, or un-check boxes of things that aren't of interest? I'll give an example of foreskin. I see that it's deliberately not in some men's list of likes, but do not know if they're making the effort to un-check that, or not checking it off with their other interests. For the record, I've never seen an example of an uncut provider not interested in having uncut clientele.

If over-advertising is a reason for caution, I'd avoid the Twin Palms. While quite nice, it looks very cramped - and the studs in the photo shoot to promote the place won't be there! Inndulge seems to be what is the go-to for a great many on here.

Unfortunate luck is all I can attribute the initial poster's frustration. It does seem to me in 2023 that the tops that insist on using a condom are like old people in grocery checkout lines breaking out a personal check to write - wrong - and start over. It's scarce. For so many guys, the hurry of tearing a package and worrying about putting it on backwards is just a figurative boner kill. For me, I DO appreciate people like Zack in Las Vegas from Rent Masseur who spell it out. No condom, no sex. They're looking out for themselves, and there's nothing wrong with that.

CNN / GasBuddy: Prices will be dropping at the US gas pumps in 2024

Of course I do. It was between fill-ups. ☹️ -
The previous thread on this was dead, so it starts anew. Has anyone donated for multiple future visits with an masseur offering such an arrangement? Up-front giving the amount for, say, four at one time, with the 5th one free? I did something similar to this with someone who was so wonderful, and it created a problem. Because of this, I won't do an arrangement like this anymore. In my case, I saw him, gave him the amount for that appointment before it began, Then arranged a "4-pack" which was less expensive than four individual sessions right afterward. He was erroneously counting that first visit which was handled separately as the first of the 4-pack. That fifth massage was deliberately lousy, him because he's thinking I'm trying to get a free massage, and me being in an angry mood because of the misunderstanding. There's also the massive risk of the provider disappearing, and we're simply screwed out of the donation at that point.

I thought of this when I saw someone asking about a "magic hands" provider. If one needs to describe their hands as magical, I continue looking. It's also not uncommon to see the ones who boast "the best you'll ever have" as being the most forgettable ones many people see only once. Self-promotion is a mighty challenging task. Perhaps I should consider a profession to assist those wanting to put their best words forward for the prospect of greatly increasing their clientele.

She looks now to me like a terrible version of her being portrayed by someone busking for tips in Downtown Las Vegas. Stretching the face and drawing the eyebrows is not a good look. If only these naturally attractive people had the technology when they were younger to see how beautiful they could remain if they left well enough alone!

US Box Office takes a big hit this year - most films have failed
viewing ownly replied to Ali Gator's topic in Movies
I haven't been to the mainstream movies in eight years. I saw "Minions", because I had a complimentary pass. There was one other person in the theater, and he thought it was acceptable to whack off to this film. I don't have a punchline for the horror of this happening, but it did give me flashbacks to the Pussycat Theatres from the 1980s, where his action wasn't uncommon, but seeing minions of a different kind was. -
When things were across the country starting to get kind of back to a new normal after 2020, the rates everyone were seeking went through the roof, likely to make up for lost revenue when things were shut down. People were starved for human touch, and happily gave what was requested. Fast-forward to today in December of 2023, and I've never seen such a vast swath of sub-100 providers like I'm seeing now. It's an across-the-board dip in cost for a great many, even well established ones. I don't have any guess as to why this is. I thought snowbirds flock to Palm Springs in the Winter, not escape it.

He got a kick out of me commenting to him earlier this year that who would of ever thought a decade after being plowed by Tyler Saint when he was a twink that he himself would possess a "Tyler Saint" bod, too.

Giving Christmas gift to providers
viewing ownly replied to BananaBagel's topic in Questions About Hiring
In all likelihood, he already is, with probably not being a clock-watcher, making the client's time more than worth his while to be a repeat visitor. That's a present all on it's own. -
Giving Christmas gift to providers
viewing ownly replied to BananaBagel's topic in Questions About Hiring
Make it something inconspicuous, like a restaurant gift card he can easily stow. -
People handle the disappointment of meet-ups that don't come to fruition different ways. I just please myself, fantasizing of what could've been, and try to see someone else at a different time frame. I'm guessing that for the majority, they look around to find their second choice on down until they find someone, and go with that. I could never do this because it would be impossible for me to not tell that person "Hey, I was interested in seeing [flaky provider here], but the jerk told me last minute he had a family emergency, so I was wondering if.....". I KNOW this is a terrible introduction to make with anyone, because I've just admitted I'm not wanting seeing them initially. Has anyone had an experience with, say, choice #6 - and had it be a pleasant surprise? And had the decency to leave that part out of trying find other people unsuccessfully first? It's probably a sad measurable percentage, but there's possibly those who contact a provider and say, "You're the least expensive and attractive person listed - I'm not surprised you're on page 6 listed 145th, but I started my search of guys backwards, and came across you. Are you available?"

More and more often, I'm seeing masseurs who visit cities at the same time, clearly traveling together, but do NOT offer 4-hand massage at all. I've experienced this first back in 2020 with a couple of Texas masseurs who were boyfriends, separate ads, and made it clear they do not work on clients together with me in a private conversation, not in their ad. I'm seeing this now with a couple of guys who are in Massachusetts at the time. Is the primary reason of this to maximize their income by only working separately, or is it more so that they don't want the potential of getting frisky with one another, leaving you oiled up, horny, and disappointed? While the feeling of four hands at once seems like a fantasy, I've only known of one masseur ever who was willing to do 2 30 minute sessions apiece back-to-back for the same hourly rate, two different bodies in one hour, which is the opposite of having 1 4-hand massage, but 4 times less expensive.

There could be a multitude of reasons that people's ads expire, but I find it odd that as a gift, you as a complete stranger can give the gift of reactivating a profile. If I were advertising, I hope I would be able to know who it is who did this.

It had to happen eventually - I was in a majority opinion today.

As third rate as it may be, it's been around for a LONG time, both mountain and pop. -
The private owner of the Mt. Shasta ski resort in Northern California is in the process of erecting a gigantic religious statue, and some of the public is irate. A petition has been signed - I don't know what kind of legal implication that could possibly have - for the project to cease immediately. The consensus of reactors was to leave the owner be, as it's his right to do what he wants on his own private land. If skiers are upset about it, to find somewhere different to ski. Unless the entire story isn't being told (and we're well too familiar with that being the case), this to me seems reasonable to let the owner do as he pleases. If this statue emits a blinding reflection that effects vehicle or air traffic, or makes irritating sounds at all hours, I could understand a public outcry. Whatever business is lost with those who boycott will more than be made up by people who are happy it's there and want to come to see it.
