  1. Alas, word has it that we will be without Coolwave this go-go round.
  2. I suspect the best way to "dress to impress" at Adonis would be to wear a clear vest (or fannypack or whatever) that shows how much cash you're carrying... But really -- whatever's comfortable for you. (I'll probably just be wearing a collared shirt and shorts -- see you there?)
  3. Have you ruled out Ian Greene? He's typically based in the Reading area, I think. https://rent.men/Iangreene
  4. I'm confirmed for Saturday as well.
  5. Brandan Steele was named Escort of the Year in 2007 by this community; his reviews are accessible through the archive (click "Older Reviews").
  6. What a coincidence that -- like ArabianH -- they all appear to be 30 years old... standing around 6foot... weighing in somewhere around 200lbs... with none of their posted pics would violate instagram policy... FASCINATING...
  7. Congratulations, @Coolwave35, for a party well and fully thrown. Thanks, too, for enabling our vicarious pleasures along the way... As you catch your breath, please know there are some among us who breathlessly await your explanation of The Mystery of the Marbles!
  8. @EastCoastBtm: we don't yet know "the story with the marbles"... What we do know is that @Coolwave35 had planned a gauntlet of games/challenges for the guys to "engage" throughout the weekend. When we connected at Evolve, Coolwave gifted me two (!) marbles to distribute as I saw fit among those guys who were "playing" this weekend. The guys didn't know what the marbles were for either, but quickly clocked that they would be valuable. Indeed -- when I slipped one of my marbles to one of the guys (one with whom I'd enjoyed a private appointment some while back) -- he kissed me, stashed the marble in his sock, put my hand on his crotch and whispered "you get a free dance for that!" FULL DISCLOSURE: I took him up on his offer, but slipped him the cash anyway. BTW: so fun to connect with you at Evolve as well, @hotmusljckbtm!!
  9. OFF-TOPIC IT request... if anyone has a suggestion/fix for why my downloads of Coolwave's video files are arriving with sound but no image, I'd welcome your guidance... PLEASE DM so as not to crowd the thead
  10. Caught a glimpse of some of @Coolwave35's smorgasboard at tonight's Adonis. I stand in awe. And, after tonight, anytime I see a marble I will think of hunks wearing only their underpants becoming unusually interested -- nay, obsessed -- with collecting them... (I'll leave it to Coolwave to reveal the significance of these tokens once the weekend's adventure has resolved, should he choose to do so...)
  11. I have faith in your shower-packing skills, @Coolwave35!
  12. In my experience, an early message (typically 7-10 days in advance, but sometimes even farther out) can work wonders. I typically say something like "I'm thinking toward my upcoming trip to your city on dates... will be looking to connect for a couple hours on day/date/time [ie saturday, 8/7, early afternoon]... do you expect to be in town and available then?" Sometimes an appt gets penciled in right then; other times the gent says "no I'll be away that weekend" or something similar; sometimes the gent clarifies how far in advance they are (not) willing to consider booking; sometimes they inquire about particulars; sometimes there's no reply. But whatever the response, I have usually found it a useful effort. And of course: clarity, brevity and courtesy are essential.
  13. Yeah, as @EastCoastGuy notes above, this is pretty standard administrative practice in large not-for-profits (ie those with endowments &/or those that allow for targeted giving). And, yes, this applies to class gifts as well (though not at the individual-giving level, but when more typically when the dedicated class gift transfers in full to the institution). Anything within a couple percentage points of 5% (give or take) shouldn't send up too many red flags. CharityNavigator.com can give a clear picture of how much of your donation actually goes to programs/services but, for universities, all targeted donations tend to (now) be managed by the development office. Targeted gifts used to be managed by departments/programs but, too often, got raided for purposes beyond the donor's wishes -- which led to some big lawsuits -- so now university development offices tend to be charged with some measure of oversight for all targeted funds to guarantee that they are disbursed in accordance with the donor's intent.
  14. I've yet to meet him, but he's in the mix & generally responsive to texts. Not chatty, but usually responsive. That said, my most recent attempt (last week) to finalize what I understood to be a confirmed booking fell through due to what felt to me like basic ghosting, though he did return my afternoon-of message to confirm he would not be coming. (This after I had booked a multi-day stay at a hotel that he indicated would be very convenient for him, and after pre-confirming his willingness/availability to meet.) Disappointing, but them's the breaks with this hobby sometimes.
  15. I follow him on OnlyFans -- skilled, versatile, regular postings, seems like a nice guy... Had no idea he advertised. Thanks for sharing the listing, @lionbrown!
  16. Yep. Interruption of not-quite an hour for me.
  17. In my dissolute youth (ie the early 90s), in the days when I was working and playing on the NYC popup hardcore sexclub circuit (think Wally's, Vinny's, etc) a lot, one of my favorite running buddies was a quirky, charismatic and HughGrant-cute British journalist with very particular sexual preferences. I think we played together a couple times when we first crossed paths but soon discovered we most enjoyed each other's non-sexual company when "catching our breath" between assignations -- bar buddies in a sex club, if you will. His career later blossomed as an on-camera commentator for a variety of cable news organizations and I still enjoy the memories whenever I happen to encounter his face/voice on my tv.

Keep an eye on his listing @Harryinny -- he's just passing through Jersey, with Long Island his next stop. I didn't ask but perhaps Manhattan is on the itinerary...

Any experience or insight re this gent? https://rent.men/LatinDl
  20. In principle, I would not be opposed to paying an "appointment confirmation fee" but, yeah, it's the logistics that introduce all kinds of problems: non-anonymous payment mechanisms; inconsistency as to whether the deposit is part of the appointment fee or on top of it; the actual amount of the deposit; no mechanism for when the provider does the ghosting... I will say that I have considered such a fee when the gent adds a caveat like "for first-time clients" because that seems both reasonable and responsible (and like it's not a hustle). But even then it's the anonymity of the payment mechanism that remains my primary sticking point. And can you imagine how many fakers would glom onto "advance deposits" as their primary grift were they to become the norm?
