For those unfamiliar, there is a sad but beautiful story behind this photo.  The dog is Eli, trained to detect IEDs, with his Marine handler, 20yo Colton Rusk.  When Colton was fatally shot by a Taliban sniper in Afghanistan, Eli tried to protect his fallen handler by crawling on top of his body.  The panicked Labrador retriever wouldn’t even allow fellow Marines near and bit some who were trying to rescue their comrade.
Colton had taken this photo and sent it to his parents, along with stories of how much he loved Eli.  The two spent every waking and even sleeping moment together (Colton let Eli sleep at the foot of his mattress).  Knowing the bond between the two, a fellow handler reached out to Rusk’s parents and encouraged them to adopt Eli.  Even though military working dogs are not adopted out until retirement (Eli was only 4yo, plenty more years of IED detection in him), the family succeeded in getting a special exception.
After adoption, Eli always accompanied Kathy Rusk to visit her son’s grave several times a week.  Eli remained part of the Rusk family for more than a decade after Colton’s death.  R.I.P. Colton & Eli.

I met Loboa this week in Palm Springs.  
The rate quoted was higher than I was expecting, but he said that was his Fisting rate (which I requested up front).  However, I remembered the other reviews said he's not a clock watcher and he is perfect, so I went through with the hire and everything was true.

It is correct grammar, although the case can be made for both versions. If you think about it, it's saying that it's the day about presidents, not really the day that belongs to presidents. There is no Independence's Day, but with Presidents Day the word ending in 's' makes it appear as if it should be possessive case. For a closer parallel illustration, it's Martin Luther King Day, not 'King's'.

If you were eating on the patio, I wouldn't be upset by a roach. If it were in the kitchen, I might not eat there again. The local paper in Palm Springs prints weekly reports from the health inspectors of their evaluations of local restaurants, and tells you what grades they give to the restaurants, and why. I always read them.

Each state celebrates differently today. 
So, to include everyone:
Happy President's Day (about 1/4 of the states spell the holiday to honor only one president)
Happy Presidents' Day (about 1/3 of the states spell the holiday to honor multiple presidents, because there used to be separate Washington's and Lincoln's birthday holidays in February.  This is the spelling most commonly used by calendar makers)
Happy Presidents Day (a few states use this grammatically incorrect spelling for the holiday)
Happy Washington's Birthday (about 1/3 of the states still call it Washington's Birthday, including the federal government)
Happy Third Monday in February (this is the new legal name of the holiday in California, whose legislature decided to remove references to any president from the holiday, because they all have done something California disagrees with).  Source: California Government Code section 6700
