came across this thread and #s 1 and 2 are not available on my standard Netflix and Hulu subscriptions, so #3 it was, "All Of Us Strangers", on this quiet Tuesday evening...... just finished and, wow, I did get a little misty!......when a movie is well-made, well-photographed, well-acted, well-directed, well-scored, the whole bit, that can happen when it's supposed to!......(there are other movies where that was also supposed to happen, but I somehow didn't care in the least)...... gotta admit I stopped halfway thru and went and read the wiki article on the movie and read the entire plot to the end!......just to make sure I was up on all that was happening, you know.....it helped and I enjoyed the rest of the movie in a more-informed way....... it's very much a fantasy, the viewer eventually realizes, but not in a silly/sci-fi/hocus-pocus/rainbows-and-unicorns way.......just a dreamy, moody reconciliation of a guy's life.......some other viewers may also need to consult the plot at the wiki article!....... a couple very mild, non-gratuitous gay love scenes (just doesn't seem right calling them sex scenes!) should be acceptable to all but the least enlightened audience.......(for those still wondering, I think there was one sideways shot of a butt, some upper torso shots, and the suggestion of oral sex occurring, but no full nudity or anything close) admittedly, it's incredibly sad right to the end, so be in the mood.......so many recent gay-oriented movies of the last several years have been full of melodramatic angst and silly attempts at profound thought.....none of that here.......just a clean, quiet, well-crafted flick.......

well, I think we're down to five now with FuzzyNavels continuing to be closed, but remember that this is full male nudity in the main room of a bar or venue.....go-go clubs (down to only underwear) and nudity only in a secret backroom don't count for this list...... I'm considering expanding the conventions here and adding the two Adonis outlets.....

just a little quibble here......minor......on the rent.men platform, I can message him as normal and I believe only my RM profile handle will show to him (as the "from")........I'm a paying Premium RM member, though, and now I'm wondering if messaging is different for those with other membership status

mention of weed in this thread reminded me about the current odor of marijuana we all smell at times these days...... does anybody else (over about age 40 or 45) notice how vastly different it smells these days than when we were younger/in college??.....the smell now seems the result of industrial production (since it's legal now) with a much sweeter/manufactured scent......back in college days, pot smell seemed earthier, natural, and very obvious......I really don't like the smell of pot from either era, but today's pot is soooo different....... anybody notice this and have a comment on how this new scent came to be??......thanks

a very polite and professional inquiry to the on-duty manager about this policy might have clarified it.......I've never heard of this for solo diners in a conventional US restaurant...... old-money WASPy types in the US do what you did: don't complain and never return.........

I presume JB gets a ton of inquiries and sometimes can't juggle them all......he may have some reliable regulars in a place like Dallas who book for hours-long meetings.....I may be wrong, but when you showed some hesitancy in how long the meeting would be, that may've spooked him into moving on to a more definite inquiry......hindsight is 20/20, of course, but being as specific as possible in early communication (appearing professional, no-nonsense, to-the-point) can usually indicate a serious client in the eyes of a provider.......
