It might have been the Decaf or the Light Roast....one never knew which it would be. That fact alone was hard to believe. I was there for a beginners meditation workshop and I didn't experience it as particularly helpful. I was with a beginner meditator who also didn't find it particularly helpful. Poems were read daily and, to me, they were far beyond beginner level. Esalen is an amazing location, that cannot be denied. I just can't understand the coffee situation and I might as well stop there.
