panpanda reacted to RadioRob in And we're back...
Greetings folks...
As you might have noticed, this site has been offline since around mid-day Tuesday. Our prior hosting provider decided that they are unable to continue hosting our website and had ended service to us. Unfortunately they did not provide any notification to me about this decision and I was forced to move the site to a new server without any sort of heads up. This includes arranging for the new hosting company, configuring the new server to meet the technical requirements, getting a copy of our current data, restoring that data (over 300GB of files), recovering the database (over 18.5 million records in that database taking up 11GB of space for the DB alone), and reconfiguring the software itself to run in the new environment.
While migrating there was also some technical issues that I ran into that required me to coordinate with Invision's technical support team. So that back and forth added additional time to the mix as well.
And to pile on further… all of this occurred while I'm traveling for my day job. So I've been doing this while in a hotel in between doing my day job on the road.
There are most likely several other things that will need to be fixed still and I'm working through them. For example, email may only be partially working. I still need to setup things like SPF and DKIM for the new server so our emails don't flag as spam. There are other settings that might need to be redone to work in the new server as well that I'm not thinking about yet. (As you might have imagined, I've not had much sleep during this whole process.)
But anyway... you get the idea. No... we're not going anywhere! This was a minor setback but we'll continue to move forward. Thank you all for your understanding and support!
Rob

panpanda reacted to Chien Andalou in Serious Bodywork + Serious Fun in the Same Provider?
I used to see Pan as well. He hasn’t updated his pics since about 1893, so I don’t know what he looks like anymore. He was sure beautiful though. I recall his massage being decidedly okay but not on a par with what I was discussing.

Good massage
Awesome extra, but others also give me such
Sweet and nice
Minus:
I believe he is not the one in pictures
But it could also be older + no longer in shape
If the pics = 9/10, then he is ~5/10

panpanda got a reaction from pubic_assistance in Russian Igor in NYC
So I tried Igor and he was pretty friendly, but if you're looking more for therapeutic, then I would skip him.
He was a bit all over the place during my session, but he made up for it during the sensual portion of the massage. I think he's more comfortable doing more Deli service than he is with massage.

panpanda got a reaction from Whippoorwill in Red flags to lookout for
Hey y'all. I think we've all had our fair share of keeping a lookout for any potential red flag(s) that happens when we're going through a provider's profile. What are some of red flags that you look for as you're evaluating whether to hire or don't hire?
For me, I check if the profile pictures are up-to-date and the photos are not taken with the quality of a 2007 smartphones.
Also, cross-reference this forum. Y'all have been amazing.

panpanda got a reaction from jcmiami1 in Caveats in hiring. Please contribute!
I never hire if the provider has a suspicious amount of reviews that are dated back to back. I mostly hire on Rentmasseur, and if the provider has multiple reviews that sound rotic or generic, then that usually indicates that they hired a bot to write the review for them.

I had a good laugh when I peeked at his profile still indicating that he's 25.
I remember him from 10 years ago...and he was 25 then.

@MuscSamithanks for sharing, but I would be cautious of sharing any photos that contain personal information no matter how you crossed out the details. You might never know if this gets pulled to the dark web and have your security at risk.

panpanda got a reaction from la_connor in Unseenbiggun
So I recently met with Unseenbiggun: https://rent.men/unseenbiggun
And I wanted to leave my review here. I wouldn't recommend him. His photos are outdated, and he's a lot older than his age is shown in his profile (closer to late 30s/early 40s).
The experience was mid at best. The only thing he's got going for him is his big tool, and even that was pretty lackluster.

panpanda got a reaction from + Pensant in Rentmen reviewer credibility
Usually the reviews can be generated by using bots or hiring some cheap off-shore companies to write reviews for you. There was an Asian masseur who I hired in the past, who used these fabricated reviews to gain leads. I would say just see if you have a pleasant interaction with the provider first via phone screening and just go from there.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. No masseurs should ever make you feel bad or give unsolicited comments about your weight/body.

panpanda got a reaction from Whippoorwill in Hiring a provider when they are sick with a cold or flu
Health before wealth. I'm a client and would totally understand if something happens. I would also expect the provider to be reasonable if I come down with something.

panpanda reacted to Monarchy79 in Ignored on Grindr By RM Providers
This situation is very simple.
You’re making it far more complicated….
1.) Escorts are paid professionals . They have the general expectation NOT to be attracted to their clients.
2.) Hook up apps are for “free”, non-transactional encounters (unless the individual states they are “working.”)
Escorts have lives outside of work and may be on a hookup site for their own “non transactional” entertainment.
When you saw the potential hire on Grindr, you simply “rolled the dice”, hoping that you’d get a free encounter with this guy.
As he’s not “working”, his attraction to you became a relevant factor in your communications because he’s now seeking a hookup to HIS satisfaction.
From this lost gamble, you now know he isn’t remotely attracted to you, and you’re now leery of hiring him as there is no longer a myth or illusion you can hide behind on your desirability. You BOTH will be clear that if you hire him, he’s performing a task, that’s it and that’s all. The fact that you have this hard truth will kill the vibe if you ever hire him.
Move on, consider this a lesson learned and make sure not to contact potential hires on hookup sites, unless you’re prepared for unfiltered truths.
