40% of the people dying being vaccinated is absolutely not the same thing as saying 40% of vaccinated people who contract it are dying. There are about 350 people per day dying and about 100,000 new cases per day. That is well under 1%.
-
That last two sentences there have no logical connection whatsoever. The fatality rate of COVID for people who are vaccinated is far less than 1%.

Those premiums are far lower than what I was quoted in my 30s 15+ years ago. Your parents lucked out by getting it and using it before the market adjusted. A lot of companies went under and did not pay oit.

There are a few who don't bother with the stage name and just give you their real one.

I remember back in the 90s there was a bit of an ethical debate over whether to destroy the remaining smallpox laboratory samples, as it would mark the first deliberate extinction of a life form.

It's not "my" year, but I may crash the reunions this year because they invited the two classes whose 25th were cancelled by the pandemic to go, which means there will be 3 different classes I had overlap with in attendance.

I mean it's been on life support for a long time. Didn't the mansion close up fairly soon after Grindr came about 10+ years ago? They rewrote the code and took away functionality, of course nobody wants to pay them for that.

‘Homophobic’ first-class passenger arrested in flight attendant assault
+ sniper replied to + Lucky's topic in The Lounge
I'm not sure they means test you whether to provide a lawyer. I think you have the choice of paying for one or taking the one they give you. Most people with the means and reasonable judgment would choose to pay for their own, but this is a guy who has already demonstrated poor judgment. -
In a work situation when it's internal I almost never bcc because I don't want twenty people forwarding it to each other "FYI". I'll occasionally bcc my boss on something just to keep him in the loop on what I'm doing.

As for not restraining him...the first class seats don't typically have the type of armrests you can tie someone to. -
The US being having people from all over the world should be expected to be middle of the pack.

There are, but at least until fairly recently, I found the gay guys tended to sort of overdo it on the grooming in a way that is subtly feminine(e.g. eyebrows tweezed just a bit too much), and that's not the look I prefer.

Don't you have people on speed dial who can tag in?

You guys know generic Truvada is on the market now, right? I think in the haze of the pandemic this didn't get nearly the news coverage it warrants. It's far, far cheaper now, and I assume less likely the insurer will put up a fight.

There was a manager/announcer in the late 90s early aughts who had this incredibly sexy voice and was not a bad looking guy himself just not in stripper shape. Hope that's not the one who got killed.

I seem to have accidentally changed my display to white text on a black background and don't see how to change it back.

Is John Travolta about to come out of the closet?
+ sniper replied to marylander1940's topic in The Lounge
How many women has Travolta been linked with vs how many men? I think he might be bisexual, but he sure seems to "round up to gay." given you never hear about affairs with women. At least one of his kids were in vitro IIRC... He could be homosexual and heteroromantic even. -
Most guys don't seem to get into the massage biz that early, particularly the formally trained ones. I think you'd have better luck buying your own table and chatting up your local go-go twink and see what he's down for if the age is a real requirement for you.

When I first went to the Gaiety in 1998 the going rate was $150 but what happened varied widely and there were always people (Chris from Baltimore comes to mind - wonder WEHT him...) who played the a la carte pricing game.
-
I'm not moving any goalposts. You're presuming to know where someone ELSE's goal posts should be. The vast majority of businesspeople in setting their prices are not merely aiming to "make ends meet." They want to get ahead. This kid is setting his price at a point where he's willing to do business. There are always multiple price points at any type of service.

You're not factoring in risk assessment. It's a job with a shelf life for most, also there's the danger aspect of meeting unknown people and possibly law enforcement.

He notes in the ad it's not his full-time job, so he may not be operating in the typical market space. He's got something that's unusual and there are likely SOME customers who will pay a premium for that. The fact that most people don't want to pay that for him doesn't mean there aren't enough people that will to keep him in business.

um...are you new here?

Was that the Devon who had the blog and would talk about his 400 lb client?
