Six kids is a lot. Hopefully the GoFundMe will soften the strain.

He is being discussed on the Gay Men of Palm Springs Facebook page today, about an encounter with him. The encounter sounds like he may not always be so nice. 😗

TonyDown reacted to fancyboot in Anyone watching The Pitt on Max?
They talked about The Pitt on Science Friday on NPR last week. It gets high marks from ER staff across the country in terms of it being realistic. I think it’s a great show and Pittsburgh is a good setting IMO.

Worked on a play he did onstage at the Geffen Playhouse about 13 yrs back. He was fine in the role (very odd play) and sweet and sexy in person. Far too young. 😢

My recs are more in their 30s/40's and all are very skilled, fit, have very little body hair if any at all, very friendly and down to earth, and provide a very connected experience.

I might also enjoy learning bridge.
My hometown had a fantastic newspaper with everything, including a daily column on playing bridge. I didn't know the game but the column must have been adjacent to something I read so I noticed it.
My mother belonged to 3 bridge clubs. She used to deal bridge hands on the dining room table for practice.
My sense is those days are gone, meeting in homes and playing bridge.

I saw it last year in New York and loved it. I may try to get to Philly to see again. He also does a one-performer version of Great Expectations and his Miss Havisham was delicious. I wish someone would mount a full production to do it in full force.

I'm guessing they have traveled with drugs in the past without a hitch. Their luck ran out!
Rather than saying something uncharitable, may I add.....
Just say no!

TonyDown reacted to jeezifonly in How Do You Like Your Coffee?
I loathe every form of latte/cappuccino, so I may order espresso after a nice meal, but never "meet for coffee" (I may drink black house brew on the rare occasion I'm out for breakfast.)
Daily, at home – dark roast from Trader Joe's, generous ratio to filtered water, drip brew, black.
I only drink what I enjoy, and save a bloody fortune.

TonyDown reacted to whatsinaname in Should I hire the same guy for massage?
If you want a strictly therapeutic massage there are plenty of places and practitioners where you can receive it. It sounds like this person made you very uncomfortable during your session by disrespecting your boundaries that you already made clear. I would honestly look elsewhere at this point. If you go back it is possible the provider will take it as they did nothing wrong and keep doing it.

Please. 24/7 parties that go all night. They're basically a circuit party on a boat and have been happening for many years. Of course drugs were part of it.

What a shame for the cruise line to have completely overlooked informing passengers about the rules regarding what's allowed to be brought on board, and what isn't - how were these youngsters to have possibly known? And it seems there is little-to-no information available publicly online - like if maybe a YouTuber or two provided some sort of warning of what consequences might result.

I think Bridge is mostly a game played by senior citizens. I was taught the game by my partner's grandmother many years ago. When I moved into a senior community, I was immediately invited to join the group that plays Bridge at the lodge once a week, and they are always looking for new members, even from people who don't live here. My brother-in-law lives in a retirement community in Texas where he is in charge of an enormous Bridge group (12 tables).
Another game I was taught by friends was Rummikub, and there is a group here that plays that every week at the home of a male couple, but I often played it with one of my housebound neighbors after I taught him how to play (it can be played by only two people). When I was growing up, the card game that was popular was Canasta, but I don't know of anyone who plays it now, and I have long since forgotten how to play it.
